Abstract

This study aims to describe the stage of the research, design, planning, coordination, andevaluation conducted by Corporate Communication of PT Bio Farma (Persero) at the Roadshow"Healthy Students" program. The method used a descriptive method with qualitative researchapproaches. Data collection methods used interviews, observation, literature study anddocumentation. The results of this study showed that the forms of research through informalresearch by searching the secondary data to determine the target audience, the concept and themeof the event is appropriate and in accordance with existing conditions, namely "Santri Sehat"embodied in the design, lighting, color and performers , Internal meetings are conducted onlythree times to communicate and coordinate to discuss preparations for implementation of theactivities. In the evaluation, the results of the implementation of the roadshow are reviewedannually by questionnaire. Based on the results of questionnaires known that more than 70% ofthe participants already have a good knowledge about the vaccine and its benefits. Through thisstudy, the researchers suggested that the situation analysis carried out by the formal and informalapproaches to search the data directly in the field, more attention to media publications oninternal company events, and reviewing the most effective time to measure basic knowledge aboutthe vaccine and its benefits.

Abstract

The focus in this research are the representation of local knowledge systems; the local valuesystems; a system of local decision-making mechanism; and a system of local solidarity groups inTulungagung Chronicle. This study uses a qualitative research that uses folklore studies. Theresearch data on the representation local knowledge in Tulungagung Chronicle are verbal datafrom the following data sources: the text transcription of kentrung recording playingTulungagung Chronicle and field notes; the text transcription of an interview with culturalstakeholders; the text transcription VCD showing Siswo Budoyo Ketoprak performance playingTulungagung Chronicle. The results of data analysis include three levels of analysis, namely theanalysis of form, meaning and function of each focus of the investigation. The final result of thisresearch is the representation of local wisdom found in the Tulungagung Chronicle which is inthe form of local knowledge systems, local value systems, systems of local decision-makingmechanism, and solidarity system of the local group. This research is meaningful particularly toimprove the understanding and beliefs of the importance of local wisdom in social life and family.It also serves as a learning medium to inculcate attitudes and behavior of Tulungagungcommunity taken from the local wisdom contained in Tulungagung chronicle.

Abstract

Style of communication sometimes can be more important than the content (content) ofcommunication. Many people who understand the content well, but not until the communicationmessage is received or not others because of the inability to convey the message properly. In thecontext of the organization of the state, in order to create a quality relationships between cabinetand people in general to the president, the president needs to develop specific communicationstyles that are part of the character of his personality so that it can contribute to the effectivenessof his administration. The issue to be observed is how the communication style tendencies Jokowiand Prabowo as a presidential candidate in the 2014 presidential election and the communicationstyle based on whether they can be examined personality traits. Norton suggests ten style ofcommunication that is dominant, dramatic, animated expressive, open, argumentative, relaxed,friendly, precise and leaving an impression. Tubbs and Moss mentions six communication stylethat is the controlling style, the equalitarian style, the structuring style, the dynamic style, and thewithdrawal style. Another concept that is relevant to the problem is the personality, whichaccording to experts, there are four individual personality that includes melancholy, Solaris,phlegmatic, and sanguine. The study states that the communication style tends Jokowi tendphlegmatic relaxed personality, whereas Prabowo communication style tends to dramaticpersonality tends Solaris.

Abstract

The simply definition of market is meeting place between sellers and buyers. Market traditionalresponsible activity more than just economic, but also as a venue for social activities, culture, andcommunication. The purpose of this study were to determine the pattern of good communicationbetween merchants and between merchants and buyers, then also want to study how therelationship patterns of men and women at traders family. The method used an explanatoryqualitative, using the method of data collection is mainly on observations and interviews. Theresults of this study showed that there is a relatively equal division of labor and egalitarian in amerchant family; Patterns of communication between the merchant, or merchants with shoppersladen with the philosophy and values of brotherhood, mutual help, are not solely economicrelations.

Abstract

Understanding of "imaging" has often been heard or known by the wider community is no exceptionto the people of Indonesia. By seeing and referring to the news that is often broadcast by the massmedia, imaging becomes a very important thing in the life of modern society. This study aims toprovide an understanding of the imaging process that has been dominating (imaging formed in aplanned and structured) that turned out to be contrary to the facts and reality. The example of thecase used is tourism destination in the district of Semarang named Bukit Cinta. This Research willbe focused on the process of the meaning image (Citra) based on the myth that is believed by thepublic around Bukit Cinta. Research using qualitative research methods that will discuss in depthabout the meaning process of an image which will help the authors to develop new conceptsrelated to the concept of imaging itself. Learning from the experience and early findings of thisresearch, the authors believe that the image can be “set up” but at the same time, the image canalso occur without any element of deliberation or setting.

Abstract

The development of modern mass media has shifted the traditional communication media presencein the area. People are more interested in watching the spectacle on television and in social mediathan watch traditional arts. The method used a descriptive method with qualitative researchapproaches. Data collection methods used interviews, observation, and documentation. Researchcarried out on college students participating in the Traditional Communications. Results showedthat although the media has shifted the traditional communication media presence, but thestudents are still able to understand the kinds of traditional communication in the region, they canexplain the function and meaning of the message contained in the traditional arts in the region

Abstract

At this time, the door to door cobblers on average complained of the existence of the decline in thelevel of sales services their offers. Therefore, they are pursuing a strategy in an effort to increaseprofits, through negotiations in the bidding process improvements and pricing services. Therefore,this paper aims to discuss further so that it can be known how business communication activitiesthat take place in the process of the negotiations conducted by the seller of the services of the doorto door cobblers in the area of Bandung and its surroundings. This research uses descriptivemethods through the techniques of data collection by means of interviews and observations. As forthe results of the research showed their efforts to obtain the maximum benefit is done in two ways,namely: repair service deals with how to replace a broken, giving the option to replace potentiallydefective, as well as add service. As for the pricing is done with consideration based on the type ofshoes and characteristics of the service buyers.
