Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effectiveness and efficiency of the management of working capital atPT. PLN (Persero) Branch Kupang Area of East Nusa Tenggara. This study will provide the input to PT.PLN (Persero) Area Branch Kupang of East Nusa Tenggara to increase the effectiveness and efficiency ofthe management of working capital and to contribute for academics references. The data types arequalitative and quantitative, sourced from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniquesare documentation and interviews. Methods of analysis is Financial Ratios Analysis i.e., Liquidity Ratio,Activities Ratio and Profitability Ratio and the Analysis of the Sources and the usages of Working Capital.The Liquidity Ratio is focused on Current Ratio, Quick Ratio and Cash Ratio; Activity Ratio is focused onReceivable Turnover, Inventory Turnover, Working Capital Turnover and Cash Turnover. ProfitabilityRatio prioritized on Net Profit Margin, Turnover of Operating Assets and Return on Investement. Theresults showed that, Financial Ratio indicated that in the aspect of liquidity PT. PLN (Persero) East NusaTenggara Region Branch was not found any problem overally, however, the aspect of Cash Availabilitywas not enough to finance the due debt immediately, the Average Rate of Turnover Assets relatively slowthat showed by the less of Assets Optimalization, and the tendency of profit rising achievement is smallerthan the using of existing Fixed Assets. It was recommended to improve the effectiveness and efficiency ofthe management of Working Capital which included Working Capital Controlling, Receivables TurnoverControlling, Expansion of the Area of Marketing and Increaeing of Working Capital.Keywords : Working Capital, Financial Ratios Analysis, Liquidity Ratio, Liquidity Ratio, ProfitabilityRatio

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of the Task-Oriented Leader Behavior and Relationship-OrientedLeader Behavior, simultaneously and partially towards Employees Performance at Kantor KecamatanMiomafo Timur. The type of research is survey research with the quantitative approach. Method of analysisis the multiple linear regression. The research found that the independent variables Task-Oriented LeaderBehavior (X1) and Relationships Oriented Leader Behavior (X2) simultaneously influenced to EmployeesPerformance with a value of Fcount (90.309) > Ftable (2.33). Abstract

Key to the success of an organization is the human resources (HR). The central role of human resourcesbecome the main driving force for the organization to respond to the various challenges faced. Someorganizations attempt a variety of ways to improve the quality of its human resources by using theinformation and communication technology development called Electronic Human Resource Management(EHRM). The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of EHRM conducted by PT. TelkomKupang region. Interviewees on this research was the head of SAS Asman, head of human resources andthe Supporting Business, JOM IT Witel, and several employees of PT Telkom Kupang region. Theapproach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to give you an idea that becamethe focus of attention of this research. The results of this research show the application of EHRM by PTTelkom Kupang region NTT brings changes and progress in working, improves employees skills, ultimatelyimproves the quality of work and quality of service.Keywords: Human Resources, The Electronic Human Resource Management

Abstract

Affective, Continuing and Normative Commitments the apparatus is a very important part of supportingwork performance, though this is still contradictory by some researchers such as Sommers & Birnbaum(1998); Randall & O'Driscoll (1997); Shore & Wayne (1993); Hackett et al., (1994). The results of thisstudy prove that significant together Affective, Continuous and Normative Commitment to WorkAchievement. Abstract

A Factor that hinder the development of tourism is mismanagement of tourism promotion and tourisminformation management system, so that reduce the tourists interest for sightseeing. In KupangCity, thecapital NTT Province, promotional tour has been done, however the media tourism catalog offer lessspecific information about tourist attractions (natural, historical, religious place), event, food, travel agencyand tourism facilities in Kupang City and less attractive with low quality graphics display. Therefore, itrequired to design of more attractive and informative City Tourism Catalog as a tourism promotion media.Based on the result of the SWOT Analysis, tourism catalog of Kupang is located on strategies quadrant ofthe Matrix Grand Strategy that support policies of aggressive (Growth Oriented Strategy). This research notonly produces the right strategy in the tourism promotion, but also produces a Kupang City’s tourismpromotion catalogue that complement existing tourism catalog. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Brand Image to Purchasing Decisions at Kahang Jaya Bakery. Themethod of analysis used is Descriptive Analysis, Validity, Reliability, Factor Analysis, Simple Linear AnalysisAnd Hypothesis Testing. The results of the Factor Analysis showed that the dimensions of the Type of BrandAssociation, Endorsement Brand Association, Brand Association Strength, Uniqueness of Brand Associationsand Purchase Decision to measure the value of KMO Measure of Sampling Adequacy are significant for allvalue <0.50, the measurement of the value of Research Variance Explained are all > 0.50 and ReliabilityConstruct of all the dimensions are CR> 0.70. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the Brand Imagewhich consists of : The Type of Brand Association, Endorsement Brand Association, Brand AssociationStrength And Uniqueness of The Brand Association has applied to the Kahang Jaya Bakery. Furthermore, theBrand Image of Kahang Jaya Bakery has an impact and a positive relationship to the Purchasing Decisionregression coefficient, significance f = 0.000. Results of determination coefficient (R2) showed that the effect ofthe Brand Image to Consumer Purchase Decision at Kahang Jaya Bakery by 90% and the remains of 10%influenced by other variables that was not discussed this research. It can be concluded that the Brand Image hasa strong influence on Consumer Buying Decision on Kahang Jaya Bakery.Keywords: Brand Image, Buying Decision.

Abstract

Regardless of the risks, Forex business is a profitable business instrument. Foreign currency exchange is a tradetransaction of a country currency against other currencies (currency pair) that involves major financial marketsin the world for 24 hours, so it is possible to taking profits within 24 hours. George Soros said that Forex is thegreatest money-producing machine in the world and nothing else. Each trader is required to have the foreigncurrency trading strategy to avoid the losses. In this study, researchers tried to compare between the strategies byobserving three most often strategies used by Forex traders namely ; the Martingale Trading Strategy, By NewsTrading Strategy and Pending Order Trading Strategy. The population in this research are the infinite numberof Forex traders, but its nature is homogeneous. The sampling techniques used in this research is "simplerandom sampling", which the number of samples drawn in this study are 6 people with details as follows: 2 forthe Martingale Trading Strategy, 2 for By News Trading Strategiey and 2 for Pending Order TradingStrategy. Data collection techniques in the study using questionnaires and observation on the tradingtransaction histories of each trader on Metatrader Software issued by forex company that the broker registeredand deposited their funds.Keywords : Forex, Trader, Trading Strategy, The Martingale Trading Strategy, By News Trading Strategy,Pending Order Trading Strategy
