Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance, audit quality, and size company against earning management. Data used in this study is annual report and audited financial report from each company, published through website www.idx.co.id. The sample used in this study are property and real estate companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2013 up to 2015 resulted 96 observations. The Study shows that audit quality has the significant and negative impact toward earning management. While independent commissioner, institutional shares, managerial shares and size company haven’t significant effect toward earning management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of training and discipline on the performance of level 5 employees at PT. Quindofood Bogor. This research uses descriptive quantitative research using saturated samples of 43 level 5 employees of PT. Quindofood Bogor. Data collection in this study uses questionnaire, observation, and documentation, then with the SPSS program using the Multiple Linear Regression technique. The results of this study indicate that job training has a significant effect on the performance of level 5 employees at PT. Quindofood with t value t-table (2,085 2,021). Work discipline has a significant effect on the performance of level 5 employees at PT. Quindofood, with t value t-table (4.001 2,021). Training and discipline affect simultaneously the performance of level 5 employees at PT. Quindofood with F-count value (34,428) F-table (3.23). This shows if PT. Quindofood wants to improve the performance of level 5 employees so training and discipline must be implemented and applied consistently.

Abstract

Effective communication occurs when individuals reach mutual understanding, stimulate others to take action, and encourage people to think in new ways. The ability to communicate effectively will increase productivity, both the individuals concerned and their organizations, so that they can anticipate problems, make decisions effectively, coordinate workflow, supervise others, develop relationships and can promote organizational products and services. This study aims to identify the influence of communication and the quality of human resources on organizational performance in Piksi Ganesha Bandung Polytechnic. From the results of the above research, the authors provide the following suggestions: 1) the need for an integrated communication system so that all human resources in the organization can find out information related to their tasks quickly and accurately; 2) periodic training needs to be held so that it can improve organizational performance and improve self-understanding among employees; 3) development of communication systems between employees and between campus locations so as to minimize errors or confusion of information in the organization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Advocacy and Family Function on the Success of the KB Village Program. The sampling technique used total sampling (n = 73), and the data analysis technique used Correlation and Regression with SPSS version 22. The results showed that Advocacy had a positive and significant effect on the success of the KB Village Program (t count = 2.854, p 0.06). Family function has a positive and significant effect on the success of the KB Village Program (t count = 2.791, p 0.38). Family advocacy and functions simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the success of the KB Village Program (F arithmetic = 4.063, p 0.21). Contribution of Advocacy and Family Function to the Success of the KB Village Program is shown by the Adjusted R Square value of 0.604 or (60.4%). The remaining 39.6% is influenced by other variables. The implication of this research is that there must be a Karawang regency Population and Family Planning Office policy in increasing the success of the KB Village Kampung Program. To improve the success of the KB Village Program through the advancement of the Advocacy and monitoring of the Employees' Family Functions so that the Success of the KB Village Program is achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of corporate governance mechanisms on tax avoidance. Corporate governance mechanisms are measured by Independent Commissioners and Institutional Ownership while tax avoidance is measured by the Avoidance Tax Rate. The research population is all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016 using purposive sampling method. The number of observations of 435 and the type of research is the analysis of causal relationships to see the effect of each variable. The results of the study show that corporate governance mechanisms negatively affect tax avoidance; the board of directors has a positive effect on tax avoidance and institutional ownership has a negative effect on the value of the company.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the interest of students majoring in Air Transportation Management to become entrepreneurs in the air transport service industry. The hypothesis of this study discusses whether students already have an understanding of self-knowledge, entrepreneurship character, and interest in students majoring in transportation management to become entrepreneurs in the air transportation services industry. Based on the self-recognition test questionnaire distributed to 84 students, it was found that there were 48 students who were very strong in knowing and evaluating themselves. There are 30 students who are strong in knowing and evaluating themselves. There are 6 students who are sufficient to know and assess themselves. Based on the entrepreneurships character test, the results of the analysis note that there are 65 students who have entrepreneurships character and there are 19 students who do not have entrepreneurships character. Based on the test in the field of air transportation service business that is of interest to students, it is found that there are 16 students who, if they have graduated, are interested in becoming entrepreneurs in the cargo business. There are 35 students who, if they have graduated, are interested in becoming entrepreneurs in the field of tour and travel. There are 16 students who, if they have graduated, are interested in becoming entrepreneurs in the catering business. There are 10 students who, if they have graduated, are interested in becoming entrepreneurs in the field of ground handling business. There are 7 students who, if they have graduated, are interested in becoming entrepreneurs in other fields and working in the aviation industry.

Abstract

Human resource in a company to hold part of vital importance because the character as wisdom executor subject and operational activity companies good for progress company. work culture related to dominant values that is overspreaded insides organization as employee work philosophy, employee work quality threatens in human resource quality. with this employee development existence can memengaruhi labour capacity, so that will increase productivity and employee work quality concerned, which is on final can achieve aim that at specify previous punctually. This problem formulation : 1) What found work culture influence towards official work quality in PT. Angkasa Pura?; 2) What found human resource construction influence towards official work quality in PT. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of salary, job satisfaction, organizational commitment to Intention at PT. Pembangunan Jaya. The research population is employees of PT. Pembanguna Jaya and the sampling method used Slovin formula which produces 80 respondents to be examined by questionnaire. Salary is an important element that can affect employee performance because it is used to meet various employee needs. Salary is divided into four dimensions, namely salary level (pay level), compensation (benefit) salary increase (pay raise), structure and payroll administration (pay structure and administration). Job satisfaction is a positive feeling about someone's work from a characteristic evaluation. Job satisfaction is divided into job satisfaction towards work (work ef self), pay (pay), promotion opportunities (supervisor) and supervisors (co. workers). Organizational commitment is the extent to which employees take sides with the organization to maintain it. Organizational commitment is divided into three continence commitments, effective commitment and normative commitment. Turnover Intention is an employee's tendency or intention to stop working from his job. Turnover is divided into three dimensions based on intentions (intention to quit), information seeking activities (job search) and thinking of going out (thinking of quit). In this study salary levels of job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a positive effect.

Abstract

Based on the calculation of Gross Profit Margin tends to show an increase every year, namely from 2013 to 2017, overall an average increase of 1.55%, with an R Square level of 0.85 or 85%. Return on Assets experienced instability in the period 2013 - 2017 due to the increase in cost of goods sold. The overall decrease is an average of 0.81% with the level of R Square 0.94 or 94%. A decrease of 0.51% occurred in 2013 of 8.58% until 2014 it became 8.07%. In 2015 it decreased by 0.46% to 7.61%. And again, decreased in 2016 by 1.81% to 5.80%. Kimia Farma declined again in 2017 by 0.44% to 5.36%. Based on the results of the Regression Test for Gross Profit Margin and Return on Assets variables meet the Normality Test, in terms of Autocorrelation Test R Square level of 0.960 or 96% effect as a measurement tool to assess the effectiveness of financial performance, in terms of Homoscedasticity Test Homoscedasticity did not occur and in terms of Multicollinearity, Test Multicollinearity disorder does not occur or in other words the Regression model is free from the symptoms of Multicollinearity. The final result of this study is the profitability of PT. Kimia Farma (Perseo) Tbk, during the last five years experienced a fluctuation or recollection and decline. The level of profitability or the company's ability to make a profit has decreased in the past year. The best level of profitability in years 2013. However, PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk has been able to pass 2017 which is full of challenges, with a record that the company's operational performance is very satisfying even though in terms of financial performance has decreased compared to the realization of performance in 2013.
