Abstract

Technology developments in the maritime sector, especially shipping has experienced a significant increase. One of them is the technological development of ship parts such as a bow. The aim’ of this development is to determine the shape of the ship's bow that is most effective when moving. The study was conducted using miniatures resembling 7 bulbous forms. Dimensions of the pool are 150 x 30 x 8 cm, type of fluid used is seawater without currents. Ship's propulsion uses 6-volt dynamo. Travel time is measured using a stopwatch by taking data 3 times in each form of a bow. Data analysis is based on the average inhibitory coefficient (Cd) value that occurs. The results of the study show the shape of the bowel influences rate of speed and drag coefficient of the ship. The oblique direction I produce a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.27 when the ship moves, so speed and travel time are more maximal than the other 6 bow directions.

Abstract

In this study conducted a test of rotary sand-type machine with a variation of the angle of 50 and then the number of threads and rotation speed of the sieve. Variations of the number of threads 3, 6 and 9. The test also uses a variety of filter rotation speeds with varying speeds of 30, 40, and 50 rpm. The aim of the study was to gain the impact of the thread count and speed of rotation on the performance of rotary-type sand sieve machines. Based on this study, the effect of thread count and rotation speed of rotary-type sand screening machine work. Obtained the best sieve results found in the number of threads 3 with the highest fine sand obtained weighing 1.25 kg, the high sand yield of 2.18 kg, and the yield of crude sand 2.62 kg. The effect of rotation speed (RPM), obtained by the result of the sieve process with the efficiency of long-time best filter, resulted in 14.44 sec in angle variable 50 and RPM 30.

Abstract

Sand is a noble material from homework, canals, fences, buildings, and various types of buildings or other constructions, almost all using sand material. So that sand sieving machines are needed in the sand separation process with various sizes needed. Based on this research, the Effect of Slope Angle on the Sieve Result can be affected. The best sieve results obtained at an angle of 10 ° with a weight of 1.35 kg fine sand, coarse sand yield 1.97 kg, and coarse sand yield of 2.68 kg and the Effect of Rotational Speed (Rpm), the best sieve time efficiency of sieving process results obtained 1.06 kg / s at variable angles of 20 ° and 50 rpm.

Abstract

This research is using plastic material with large size into the place of the counting, the material is torn, pulled, crushed, and crushed by two cylinders composed of a knife or spinning the crusher in the opposite direction and material becomes Soft. By adjusting the engine round variation of 200, 300 and 400 rpm and variations of plastic material in the form of rice containers are made of intact and perforated. Thus obtained results that resemble plastic beans for recycled materials. Results of research data on the influence of the variation of the engine rounds on the performance of plastic counting machine, with the change in the results of the difference in the RPM is influenced by the smaller the number (6.68) then the size of the shape at the speed RPM 200. Instead in a large rpm, the weight change of the results of the number (12.6) of the size of the shape at the speed of 400 rpm in whole plastic material.
