Abstract

The transportation system generally prioritizes comfort and safety in terms of driving. To support this, a good suspension system is needed. Leaf springs are one of the suspension systems found in vehicles that function as vibration absorbers, as well as supporting vehicle frames. So it is necessary to do research on leaf spring spacing. To find out the distance of leaf spring deflection. This study focuses on the distance of deflection and the frequency of deflection on leaf springs, presumably there are characteristics of leaf spring spacing. The purpose of the study was to determine the distance of leaf spring deflection. From the results of the research carried out the results obtained The greater the static load that is given gives the effect of changing the shape of the plate that triggers a long change in each plate sheet. The biggest value of length change that occurs on the plate no (1) variations in the load of 15 kg which is equal to 99 cm.

Abstract

The development of technology today is very fast especially in the sector of ease in using a tool to help human activities one of which is generator set, when there is a problem in the needs of electricity use this tool is very helpful. But in the use of this tool produces a noisy sound. Noise is a problem that can interfere with physical health at risk of hearing loss. Various technical efforts are done to reduce noise levels such as changing the number and diameter of the silencer holes that can decrease the sound produced by the generator well. The purpose of this research was to gain the influence of the number and diameter of the silencer hole against the resulting exhaust noise engine. The research was conducted with experiments, a variation of the number of silencer holes amounted to 18, 23, and 28, while the silencer diameter was used 2mm, 3mm, and 5mm. Noise level measurements are conducted at a distance of 1 meter, 2 meters, and 3 meters from Sound source using a sound level meter. Data retrieval is performed every 1-minute interval using the Stopwatch tool. With the results of the number of holes 23 and hole diameter 2mm that can reduce noise well.

Abstract

The research was conducted with experiments, with variations in the corners of the foot kick inside and outside. The angles used are 250and 350 w with foot swings of 450, 600 and 750. The result of this study showed that the greater the angle of the swing leg then the result of the leg swing against the ball would be faster the rate of the ball because the angle of a large leg swing would produce a large force or force. While the angle of the intersection of the foot is greater the angle of the resulting deviation will be the greater angle. The outer and foot kicks in differ as they kick using the straight leg of the ball will go straight by the pace of the balls whereas if using the outer foot will turn his ball or stray towards the specified kick.

Abstract

Mild steel is one type of conventional roof frame replacement that is usually made of wood. The roof frame is increasingly used and more also in the market with various qualities and prices offered. The lightweight steel frame started replacing the wood that was from before until now already used for a skeleton on the roof building house, researchers aim to get a strong test result of weight lifting against mild steel. The cantilever test I used is a one-sided cantilever test. Where the test uses a one-sided clamp focus aimed at the steel to be tested can be hung. The results showed that the average on Lendutan resulting from the three variables in the cantilever had varying levels of cutaneous. The first variable with an average of 1.45 mm Lendutan, the second variable with an average 2.07 mm leading, the third variable with an average 2.52 mm leading. From the results of a three-variable comparison, that the lowest degree of solidity is found in the wedge material with the form of lath X with a yield of 1.45 mm of sloth.

Abstract

Noise becomes a very important issue to reach a level of comfort in the room. Many technical efforts are made to reduce noise levels such as by creating materials that are able to absorb sound waves well. The results of the study show that many materials can be used as noise absorbers, one of which is patchwork waste. The research aim to study is to obtain effective results from room dampening by utilizing used fabric waste. This study examined used fabric waste as soundproof partition walls. The method used to determine the value of sound red uction and absorption coefficient is a method of measuring sound from different positions with variations in fabric types and variations in shape of space. Variations in the type of fabric are woolen fabrics, denim fabrics, and cotton fabrics. While the va riation of the shape of the wake is the shape of a cube, cone and tube. The optimum results obtained at the side measurement position, cube space shape, and type of fabric are wool fabric with a percentage of noise reduction of 35.38% from 80 dB to 51.7 dB .
