Abstract

Perkembangan restoran atau cafe yang sangat pesat di kota Medan membuat beberapa pencinta kopi dan makanan berbondong-bondong mencari tempat yang nyaman dan sesuai dengan selera. Beberapa pemilik cafe berlomba memberikan pelayanan yang mangkus dan terbaik untuk menarik pelanggan setianya. Pada beberapa situasi pemilik cafe terkadang memiliki kesulitan dalam menentukan menu makanan yang sesuai untuk dijadikan menu andalan cafe tersebut. Dengan melihat kemajuan dibidang teknologi komputer tentunya dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi suatu kebutuhan yang dapat menjadi sistem pendukung keputusan dalam menentukan menu terbaik. Oleh sebab itu akan dilakukan riset pada cafe Ateku sebagai mitra riset. Setelah dilakukan ujicoba dari 15 menu yang tersedia dengan menggunakan AHP dengan nilai perangkingan tertinggi adalah sebesar 0,0420 dengan menu Hotplate Fried Rice sedangkan ujicoba menggunakan WP memiliki nilai paling tinggi sebesar 0,087016 dengan menu Combo Burger Ayam Crispy. Walaupun hasil yang diperoleh berbeda namun dalam pendukung keputusan yang ada dinyatakan cukup akurat.

Abstract

A forklift is a lifting tool that functions to move goods from one place to another, with a short distance and a certain height, this heavy equipment is very useful because it can move very heavy goods in a vertical or horizontal direction. Problems that are often especially related to damage to unit components at PT.XXX, which are composed of the main part, namely the forklift engine. Damage to this section can result in downtime and delay in the production process which results in machine performance being less effective and efficient. Effectiveness in the production process requires the right strategy to keep the machine in operation by determining the optimal maintenance time interval using the criticality analysis method. After calculating with the criticality analysis method, it is found that the components of the hydraulic system and transmission are critical components. Furthermore, preventive replacement measures for hydraulic system components can be taken after 6800 hours of operation. The transmission component can also be done after operating for 900 hours or during an overhaul. While the inspection action for hydraulic system components is carried out after operating for 620.76 hours, the transmission component is carried out after operating for 540.39 hours. After checking and inspection, the avaibility value of the two components is above 95%, which means that the inspection can increase availability and prevent downtime in the unit and optimize the production process.

Abstract

The research conducted is the analysis of the costing of goods based on the method of activity based costing (ABC) to determine the cost of making a cake and determine the selling price per one cake product. So far, Bakery and Cake Shop in determining the cost of products using conventional methods, and based on the results. Research and discussion carried out at the Bakery and Cake Shop can be seen that the manufacturing costs and selling price per product have quite high advantages such as brownie cake with a manufacturing cost of IDR 32,047 and a selling price of IDR 60,000 with a profit margin of 47%, banana cake with a manufacturing cost of IDR 31,381 and a selling price of IDR 55,000 with a profit margin of 43%, Mocca rolls with a manufacturing cost of IDR 26,586 and a selling price of IDR 45,000 with a profit margin of 41%, olu Chocolate Rolls with a manufacturing cost of IDR 23,016 and a selling price of Rp. 40,000 with a minimum margin with 42%, Rollbery Rolls with a manufacturing cost of IDR 26,916 and a selling price of IDR 45,000 with a profit margin of 40%, cheese rolls with a manufacturing cost of IDR 30,916 and a selling price of IDR 55,000 with a profit margin of 44%, and pandan cake with a manufacturing cost of Rp. 25,626 and a selling price of Rp. 45,000 with a profit margin of 43%, it can be concluded that an accurate calculation of the cost of production can be done using the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method.

Abstract

The large number of brick producers in the Batu Lapan Lubuk Pakam area, Deli Serdang, as well as market competition from manufacturers who use modern machines to produce bricks have made one brick producer who still uses traditional methods of manufacture compete to improve quality brick. To obtain good quality bricks, namely by looking at the compressive strength of the bricks produced, it is necessary to have an optimal raw material composition that can be produced through experimental designs. In this study, the experimental design used was the Taguchi method. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the quality of the bricks, to know the composition of the raw materials so that the optimal quality of the bricks was obtained, to know the usefulness of the Taguchi loss function to reduce production cost losses. From the identification of controlled factors, it is obtained the factors that influence the compressive strength of the bricks, namely the composition of the material, the time of stirring, the drying time and the burning time. Experiments were carried out with four different levels of factors. From the analysis, the optimal factor level combination is factor A level 1: clay composition 50%, factor B level 2: stirring time 4 hours, factor C level 1: drying time of 1 day and factor C level 2: burning time 3 days while the Taguchi loss function is sufficient to reduce production cost losses. The test results from 200 units of bricks showed a decrease in the percentage of brick defects from 6%-7,32% to 2,5%-3%.

Abstract

Remote control is not something new, so the development of remote control has been done in many applications. The author designed automatic control of equipment and devices at home and buildings from a distance. The microcontroller used in this study was the ATmega 328P AVR type (Alf and Vegaard's Risc). ATmega 328P is an external microcontroller from atmel that has a RISC (Reduce Instruction Set Computer) architecture where each data execution process is faster than the CISC (Completed Intruction Set Computer) architecture. In the research, the application of access to devices in the home such as light control, fans and servo motors as a door driver using Arduino UNO as a microcontroller and Android applications as the main controller to control electronic devices. The circuit work system with a voltage of 3.3V to 5V, then each device in the circuit will be active (ArduinoUno, Bluetooth HC05 and Relay Module) with a 12V voltage on each tool. HC-05 As a connection with a maximum distance of 12M the tools can work. Based on the test results, it is obtained that the control system based on the android application using Arduino can be used as a controller for lights, fans and doors properly.

The Practice Clinic of drg. Farah Chairani collected data on patient data, complaint data, care data, and cost data.In patient data, patients are divided into general patients and BPJS participants.Then in the maintenance data, it is also distinguished on the current treatment and ongoing care.The Practice Clinic of drg. Farah Chairani in the process of storing patient data, complaint data, care data, and cost data are still in paper documents.So when the patient's status card runs out, and data collection is done in a different place, the data is often lost and not found. In the process of searching for patient data, drg. Farah Chairani also took a long time. Due to having to look for data that is not in alphabetical order in data storage. As well as recording their financial reports, drg. Farah Chairani is still listed in the ledger.With the above problems, a desktop-based application was made to facilitate processing patient data, searching for patient data, and making financial reports at drg. Abstract

Learning media has an important role in the student learning process. Seeing the declining student learning process, shows that students' understanding of the learning material is quite low. Media that is considered appropriate and in accordance with current conditions is learning media XYZ. Elementary School is one of the schools that is in the process of social studies learning media in the subject matter of Learning Media for the Introduction of Video and Web-Based Traditional Houses at XYZ Elementary Schools still using conventional methods of using textbooks and speeches so that students' attention is easily distracted because they are less attractive. learning methods. This has the impact that the students' lack of knowledge of the learning media for the introduction of traditional houses. if to overcome this problem the researcher makes learning media in the form of videos regarding learning materials for the introduction of traditional houses. With the existence of learning media for the introduction of traditional houses, it is easier for students to understand the lessons on introducing traditional houses using videos compared to the material provided by the teacher using the textbook reading method and lectures from the teacher.

Abstract

The research that was carried out was to calculate the efficiency of the production cost of tofu using the Heuristic Silver Meal method. For every tofu production, raw materials are needed. The raw materials needed to make tofu include imported soybeans and vinegar. The problem that often occurs in the Home Industry XYZ is that there is an excess supply of imported soybeans and vinegar which can cause ordering costs and storage costs for raw materials to increase. Things like this of course need to get serious attention and handling to improve the state of production activities of the home industry XYZ so as not to cause supply costs. With this problem, a research on the cost efficiency of Tofu Raw Material production is carried out in the hope that the Home industry XYZ can optimize inventory costs. the need for raw materials for making Tofu in order to maintain quality and streamline production costs. The results of the study using the Silver Meal Heuristic method were Rp. 315,059,416 and Meanwhile, using the riil method home industry is Rp. 307,741,100, from the comparison of the Silver Meal Heuristic method with the riil home industry method, the difference is Rp. 7,318,316 and the efficiency is 2.32%.

Abstract

The cold-rolled coil is a raw material for manufacturing industries such as automotive, household appliances, property, and other industries that use steel plates. The production process during January - June 2020 was not good enough, so that the production process had a defect. The types of defects include stoppage marks, bad trimmer, and over the pickle. This study aims to measure Cpk, and sigma quality levels' process capability and analyze the root causes of low product quality. This study uses the Six Sigma method with the phase Define, Measure, Analyze and Improve. The results showed that Cpk = 1.27, and the sigma value of 3.86. Types of defects that occur are a 72,9% stoppage mark, 17,8% bad trimmer, and 9.3% over the pickle. Recommendations for improvements can be made by conducting training for employees, supervising production employees, periodic maintenance of machines/equipment, and controlling production processes. Six Sigma implementation can identify and improve the quality problems that occur.

Abstract

During the current pandemic, there are many permanent or temporary termination of employment by the company so that it has a very significant impact on the income of parents or students, where the reduced income generated makes it difficult for students to pay tuition fees every year. Therefore, in this study, a comparative analysis of the feasibility of students to be able to receive scholarship assistance will be carried out using the Moora and Topsis methods. Moora method is one of the methods in a decision support system where the way it works is by creating a normalization matrix and calculating the optimization value of each attribute, resulting in a ranking that is done by reducing the maximum and minimum values. While Topsis method is a method that produces rankings by making alternative preferences and comparing the results of the best alternatives. The variables used in the simulation of the eligibility analysis of scholarship recipients are the Grade Point Average (GPA), Parents' Income, House Type and Children's Dependents. The results of the research using the Moora method get an accuracy value of 70% , while the Topsis method gets an accuracy value of 80%. So it can be said that the Moora method produces better decisions in the selection of eligibility for scholarship recipients in the Informatics Study Program
