Abstract

Today's modern linguistic ideas seem very hot to be discussed on the conference stages. Its presence has brought fresh air for language and education activists. Not without reason, linguistics has contributed in breaking down various aspects of linguistic material to be transformed into foreign language learning, one of which is Arabic. this has been seen with the existence of a rainbow of linguistic studies in various lines of discussion. Call it one of the most famous modern linguistic studies today is structuralism. Structuralism tries to present a language lens that suppresses aspects of behaviorism and sees that language is obtained because of a trigger factor or continuous training. The method presented in this research is entitled library research. So that the data obtained comes from theories which in their discussion address structuralist modern linguistic studies and foreign language learning. The results showed that the realm of structuralist modern linguistics is very suitable to be applied in foreign language learning, one of which is Arabic. The suitability of these applications can be echoed by the following steps, including 1) practice repeating utterances in Arabic which can have an impact on students' habit of speaking in Arabic, 2) changing the type of sentence between isim or fi'il, 3) expansion exercises meaning in sentences with different patterns, and 4) connecting exercises.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss the humanism approach in Arabic teaching tests. This paper relies on bibliographic sources in the form of books and articles (literature study) that are in a scientific journal related to the subject matter. Reading the data of academics' thinking by using a constructive critical approach and meaningful content with content analysis. Based on studies that have been conducted, teaching tests in the humanist approach must be proportional in measuring each domain that exists in students (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor). The form of tests to measure the domain of cognition can be done by presenting objective tests and description tests. As for the affection domain measurement, it can be done by compiling a Likert scale and semantic different. Meanwhile, to measure the psychomotor domain test can be done in the form of task analysis.

Abstract

Morphology, in the study of Arabic linguistics known as the discipline ‘ilm al-ṣarf, as part of grammar which examines the internal structure of words, has an urgency to be studied in depth. Especially in the context of Arabic studies that embrace typologies of complex inflective languages. This article examines the Arabic morphological system from a modern linguistic perspective, especially on derivational and inflectional changes. The discussion begins on the conception of derivation and inflection in the view of modern linguistics, as an introduction to see the system of derivation and inflection changes in Arabic linguistics. Morphological theories of Arabic grammars, in this article developed and communicated with modern linguistic theories. From this development a new formula was produced in the study of Arabic morphology which is expected to provide a more systematic description of the understanding of the Arabic morphological system.

Abstract

Learning in the era of 5.0 society has experienced rapid mediation, especially in educational program. Teachers began to innovate using various media, especially using WhatsApp in learning Arabic Language. Arabic language has been considered a very difficult and tedious subject for islamic elementary school children. Efforts and high creative power continue to be done to foster fun learning of Arabic language. The purpose of this study besides want to see how the process and application of WhatsApp social media in learning Arabic language is also to increase knowledge and insight for Arabic teachers in utilizing the development of technology and information at the islamic elementary school level. This research method uses qualitative research by using descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques in this study using observations, interviews, and document notes. The results of this research concluded that WhatsApp social media can facilitate learning and long distance communication between teachers and students when they are in a pandemic, create fun learning, train students' independence, and also have more values, an environmentally friendly. This research suggests that there is more supervision of students in applying WhatsApp social media to learning Arabic language at the islamic elementary school level.

Abstract

Language Arabic, which has now become an international language, has a big contribution in developing science. This Tern shows the existence of active Arabic communication with the languages that exist in this world. By using a language that is understood together, one can establish social relations in the community. The purpose of this study is to design Arabic learning curriculum development specifically for the purpose here of tourism as a tour guide. This research method used library research. The results of the research show that the design learning of Arabic curriculum development is a special purpose tour guide, a tour guide is more, able, fluent and professional in communicating Arabic and knows the ins and outs of the world of tourism, as well as the destination when dealing with tourists from the Middle East.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of extracurricular activities in Arabic at Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, Paiton-Probolinggo, which includes: 1) Types of activities, 2) Planning activities, 3) Implementation of activities, and 4) Evaluating activities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The qualitative data in this study included extracurricular activities in Arabic. The data sources of this research are the core management and students in the LPBA. The instrument is the researcher himself (human instrument). Data collection was obtained through the results of distributing questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed a number of things, namely (1) twelve extracurricular activities attended by students at ula and wushta levels with the hope that students often get used to listening to hiwar or Arabic conversations from native Arabs, and can apply them in daily conversations. day (2) Planning activities consist of student organizations, curriculum, schedule arrangements, activity themes, and regulations, (3) This activity is carried out every night after teaching and learning activities (KBM) and Friday from morning to evening, and (4) Evaluation of this activity is carried out once a month with the aim of finding solutions to problems experienced by students.

Abstract

Learning Arabic in MTs Unggulan Hikmatul Amanah in Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School really noticed a reading skill in the learning process, so that the students would be able to read Islamic religion literature written in Arabic language. This study aimed to describe developing process of Arabic language teaching material with Cooperative Learning approach for 7th grade students MTs Unggulan Hikmatul Amanah and to know a validity and also an effectiveness of the teaching material. Type of this study used developing steps by Borg and Gall in Sugiono’s book. Data in this study, had qualitative and quantitative. It was collected with interviews, questionnaire and tests.  Meanwhile, the data was analyzed descriptively and T test.  The results of this study indicate that the teaching materials developed are appropriate and effective for teaching Arabic at this level after going through a process of improvement based on expert judgment and field trials.

Abstract

Studying in religious institutions is inseparable from the kitab turats, so the ability to read it well is a must for students. This study aims to describe the process of applying the Miftahul Ulum method in Ma'had An-Nur 2 Al-Murtadho and supporting factors in the learning process using the method. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach. Observation, interviews, and documentation collected data. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Miftahul Ulum method can improve the ability to read the yellow book. The indicators are: increase in score and learning the ability. This can be seen from teaching and learning activities; students can distinguish the position of the sentence and be able to read the kitab turats well.

Abstract

This paper searches for the implementation of the debate chapter in (Nafila) to upgrade the speech skills of students of Walisongo State Islamic University Semarang 2019/2018. The background of this research is the lack of good proficiency for students in the Arabic language, especially in the skill of speaking when debating. Nafilah is a member of the Student Activities Union at Walisongo State Islamic University Semarang, who helps her to preserve the Arabic language at the University. The definition of the question in this research is how to implement the debate chapter in (Nafilah) to upgrade the speech skill of students of Walisongo State Islamic University Semarang, especially in the debate class. What are the driving and resistance factors in it? This research is qualitative and descriptive research, and it is carried out at the Walisongo State Islamic University Semarang. The researcher uses interview, observation, and documentation as her data collection methods. As for the data analysis method, it is by triangulating data, sources, and the method. The result of the research is: Nafilah uses the communicative method to achieve a special purpose, which is to upgrade the speech skills of students when debating. Learning to debate in the debate class has two stages. They are the discussion phase and the debate phase. And the implementation of the debate chapter superfluous systems of the Asian Parliament The factors driving and hindering the implementation of this debate chapter are in terms of the conditions of the students, the trainer, and the supervisor.

Abstract

Lack of use of multimedia influences the lack of students' desire to learn Arabic and their difficulty in understanding. Teacher-centered Arabic teaching contradicts the nature of students with an audiovisual learning model. As a remedy for this problem, we have developed a variety of methods for teaching Arabic with the help of the Power Point Program. It was implemented at the National Islamic High School in Dorongan-Semarang. This research is evolutionary using the DDD-E model, which consists of four steps, namely, designation (Decide) and design (Design) and development (Development) and evaluation (Evaluate). Assessment of the quality of the means is based on the correction of the experts in Article (80%) and teaching methods (84%). To assess the validity of their use we rely on the response of students (80%). The effectiveness of their use is based on the results of the students in the test (64%), and they are 18 students in the eleventh grade selected by purposeful technology.
