Abstract

In order to build Indonesia into the global maritime axis created five pillars of the global maritime axis,first is rebuilding the maritime culture of Indonesia as a form of empowerment through maritime potential aspects of education local wisdom-based. Maritime education based on the local wisdom is believed to be a form of strengthening cultural values as the basic identity of coastal communities in Cirebon is Nadran tradition. Nadran tradition carried on by the fishing communities have social values, culture and religion play a role in order to give thanks for the Earth results obtained. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive method of analysis through data collection techniques of observation, in-depth interview and documentation study. Location of the study take one area in Cirebon is Samadikun. Informants consisted of Fishermen, Kebayan (readers of prayer), Pemangku Hajat (indigenous stakeholders), and a part of Keraton Cirebon. The results showed that the tradition of maritime education is a based on the local knowledge to introduce an element of social values, culture and religion of Nadran tradition. Process of Nadran tradition involves not only the fishermen as the main object in the show but the role of a part of Keraton Cirebon as indigenous stakeholders and preservation of culture. Nadran tradition has meaning social values, culture and religion are very thick to be used as a guide in conducting social relations in society. The conclusion that Nadran tradition as a representation of maritime education based on the local wisdom that contains the values of social, cultural and religious that are still run by Samadikun communities and every value internalized to the next generations. It is intended that the meaning of each process of Nadran tradition can be maintained continuously and sustainably.

Abstract

This research is a study that examines how pesantren as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia is able to survive amid the current modernization of pesantren education that changes the education system from traditional to modern. In this study there are several formulations of the problem, namely: 1) how was the initial development of Al-Barokah pesantren education, 2) how was the strategy of using the applied learning methods and models, 3) how was the final evaluation process at the Al-Barokah Islamic boarding school?. This research uses the content study method or literature study using several written studies and the use of qualitative methods in writing this article.

Abstract

A technology-based mindset and pattern of work must be optimized to realize digitalization as a form of paperless optimization. At the current ASEAN level Indonesia is the first rank of paper exporters, ranking third in Asia after China and Japan while in the world of Indonesia is ranked sixth and aspires to be the second exporter of paper in the world. Behind it all is very important that the fact Indonesia is deforested from Kompas.com from 2010-2015 the width 684,000 he KTAR natural forest each yearand the extinction of various species most in Indonesia. This study focused on paper saving, optimization of digitalization with clear roadmap, as an effort to save the environment and go green . The research method used is case study with qualitative research design, using interview technique, observation, and documentation. From this research, it is found that paper optimization is strongly supported by various circles, optimization of digitalization is an increasingly sprightly effort to technology literacy, becoming a developed society, and protecting the environment from the consequences caused by deforestation such as species extinction, greenhouse effect, and natural disasters . However, the paper still needs to be used and should be used more effectively without neglecting the preservation of nature to achieve Indonesia Gold 2045.

Abstract

Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago country and it has coastline stretching from Sabang toMerauke with more than 17.500 islands. As a maritime country, Indonesia has potential on marinetourism which can be a backbone of economy amid the global economic turmoil. However, theperformance of Indonesian tourism has not shown satisfactory results if viewed from the data offoreign tourist visits which is left behind with neighboring countries. The implementation ofSUSTRA LOWIS (Sustainable Tourism Strategy Based on Local Wisdom) is expected to increase therole of Indonesia's marine tourism sector to the economy by improving the quality of tourismmanagement and human resources. Development of tourism must involve the role of society, butgovernment is less concerned about it.The purpose of this paper is to create innovations to enhancethe role of marine tourism industry to Indonesian economy, explaining that Indonesia has tremendousmaritime potential and can be utilized for the collective interest and provide an overview to thegovernment on programs that can be implemented for the marine tourism industry. This type ofresearch is descriptive analysis. The study aims to analyze and describe the implementation ofSUSTRA LOWIS as an effort to realize Indonesia as the world’s maritime axis. Data were collectedthrough observation and literature studies. The research concluded that SUSTRA LOWIS(Sustainable Tourism Strategy Based on Local Wisdom) has five main sectors for the development ofmarine tourism those are, Tourism Management Sector (TMS), Tourism Training Sector (TTS),Business Improvement Sector (BIS), Technology Based Tourism Sector (TBTS), and MaritimeEducation Sector (MES). These five sectors have programs that can support the development ofmarine tourism thoroughly and sustainably to realize Indonesia as the world’s maritime axis.

Abstract

Ozone is a gas formed from three oxygen atoms that are highly reactive and unstable compared tooxygen. Ozone can be generated by using a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) generator. To know theability of DBD reactor in producing ozone performed a characterization. Characterization is done bymeasuring the electrical current, electrical voltage, observing the plasma discharge, charge mobility,and ozone concentration. In this research using DBD reactor derived from the development of researchTeaching Industry of Diponegoro University. DBD reactor containof pyrex glass material as adielectric barrier and parabolic wire made of aluminum as inner and outside electrodes in the dielectricbarrier. DBD reactor was generated using high AC voltage of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 kV and air flow rateis 10 L/min. The characterization results show that the higher the voltage can results increases ofelectrical current, for a discharge plasma produces a purplish color as a result of ionization process onthe electrode. The calculation of charge mobility is 9.71 x 10−3m2V−1s−1and the lowest and highestozone concentration is 80 ppm and 280 ppm, respectively. In the future, application of DBD reactorhas been characterized can be usedfor ozone gas production as food preservatives, improvement of theenvironmental quality of aquaculture and as an industrial and medical waste treatment system.

Abstract

The particle board is an artificial board that uses a mixture of organic adhesives.This board is one ofalternative ways because use ijuk’s fiber as the material which mixed with plastic waste matrix of glassmineral water. The purpose of this experiment was to compare the particle physics of the particle board,on parameter comparison (Jappanese Standard Associaton (JIS) A 5908-2003 and Indonesian NationalStandard (SNI) 03-2105-1996.The method used consisted of the process of preparation of tools andmaterials, weighing matrix and ijuk’s fiber, particle printing using hotpress machine, cooling andtesting of board characteristics include density, water absorption and thickness development Based onexperimental particle board materials obtained density ranges from 0.50 - 0.90 gram / cm3, waterabsorption 16.38% - 18.63% for 1: 4 and 7.76% - 13.99% for 1: 5 material comparison and thicknessdevelopment 0.00% - 8.20% for material comparison 1: 4 and 0.56% - 2.60% for 1: 5 materialcomparison.

Abstract

The purpose of this reaserch is to determine the optimum composition of rubber seed shell, sawdust,and amylum adhesive. Experiments were carried out in several stages: aggregate of the raw materials,drain the raw materials, do carbonization or combustion with 600°C temperature for 2 hours, restrict thesupply of oxygen so that the materials do not burn to ashes, sieve the materials, weigh each ofingredients in the ratio of 60:20:20, 50:20:30, 40:20:40, and 30:20:50, blend the materials, print thebriquettes, drain, and analyze the contents of briquette. This reasearch generates optimumcompositionwith ratioof 60% rubber seed shells, 20% sawdust and 2 % amylum adhesive. It is in termsof the parameters that have been analyzed in the form of spesification of inherent moisture is 4.99%,ash content is 4.38%, volatile matter content is 24.75%, fixed carbon is 66.38% and calorific value is6069 cal/gr.

Abstract

Banjir merupakan salah satu bencana yang sering menjadi permasalahan yang dihadapi ketika musim hujan tiba. Curah hujan yang tinggi berdampak pada jumlah debit air yang meningkat yang berimbas pada terjadinya meluapnya air ke dataran sekitarnya, penanganan dengan memperdalam sungai hingga membuat bendungan air. Banjir juga dapat menjadi masalah terutama saat sudah meluap ke pemukiman warga yang juga berdampak pada terganggunya aktivitas serta banjir memiliki potensi membawa penyakit pada korban terdampak. Dengan seiring perkembangan teknologi penanganan bencana banjir dapat diatasi salah satunya dengan alat pendeteksi dini banjir. Dengan alat ini kita dapat mengetahui tinggi dari permukaan air sehingga sebelum terjadi banjir dapat mengevakuasi diri dan menyelamatkan barang-barang berharga.

Abstract

The image of the Yamaha Mio brand is one of the most important factors because the citramerk is very important to sell to prospective consumers, given the competition in the motorcycle business today can be categorized as a battle for the formation and maintenance of product images in the eyes of consumers. The purpose of this research in this thesis is to determine the extent of the influence of citramerk on YamahaMio's furniture decisions in CV. Kabanjahe Yamaha Motorcycle Exchange. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are through questionnaires, interviews and observations. The analytical method used is simple linear regression analysis method. The population in this study are consumers who have bought or used YamahaMio on CV. Kabanjahe Yamaha Motor Exchange, amounting to 290 people / month. The number of respondents to be sampled is 75 people. The results showed that the independent variables influenced furniture decisions. This is indicated by the results of partial testing of the calculated t value of the citramerk variable (X) of 11.284 greater than the t table of 1.982. Adjust R Square of 0.636 which means that the variable citramer has the ability to explain the YamahaMio purchase decision on the CV. The Kabanjahe Yamaha Motor Exchange was 63.6% while the remaining 46.4% was by other factors not examined in this study. The conclusion of this research is that citramerk influences the purchase decision of YamahaMio on CV. Kabanjahe Yamaha Motorcycle Exchange.
