Abstract

This study explores or discusses the intercultural communication patterns found in the villages of the java in the sub district of Curup in the Central District of Rejang Lebong. There are five tribes in the village of Javanese village, namely the tribe of Lembak, Padang, Rejang, Java, Musi. Cultural differences that exist in the villages of the village of java do not lead to conflict and intercultural divisions, they respect each other from these disffences, but they see that their daily lives are closed and ignorant. The purpose of this study was to find out how the process of intercultural communication patterns in the villages of ward java communicate with different cultural backgrounds. The menhod used by the researcher is descriptive qualitative approach is used because the data needed by the author is only in the form of information and explanation from the informant. The data needed in this study was obtained through information from the village government, community leader, and the surrounding community. In data collection researchers used several techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is analyzed by data resuctio, data presentation (display), and verivikasi of data or drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the intercultural communication patterns in the villages of the village of Java are obtained by the star’s communication pattern. Draving factors for intercultural communication are messages that are easy to understand, positive perception, and the same language.

Abstract

The development of STAIN Curup has shown a significant improvement both in terms of the number of students and the institutional aspect. The existence of STAIN Curup began to be felt as part of the world of education not only for the environment but also for the nearest regency areas such as Lubuk Linggau, Kepayang, Lebong, Bengkulu City, Palembang, Bukit Tinggi and even from Java Island. This development is not directly proportional to the growth of the number of new students each year in the Communication Studies and Islamic Broadcasting Program (Prodi KPI), which is still far tertiggal compared with other Prodi-Prodi in STAIN Curup. Therefore, this research tries to find a solution about it, by focusing on two research problems (1) How is the perception of MA students about KPI Study, Department of Propagation, STAIN Curup? (2) What factors influence student's perception about KPI Prodi Major Dakwah STAIN Curup? This research sees information about the KPI Prodi obtained from family / friends / neighbors who are currently or have completed education at STAIN Curup, mass media that is through advertisement acceptance new newspaper Daily Newspaper Radar Pat Petulai, and Radio Pesona FM, and from brochure of student admission new. Then the information will be organized and interpreted. Based on the result of the research, the perception of MAN Curup and MA Ar-Rahmah students toward KPI Study Program of STAIN Curup Dakwah, among others: Prodi KPI is good enough, KPI Prodi still doubt, and not too familiar with Prodi KPI. The formation of MA students' perceptions of KPI study is influenced by several factors. Factors that influence the perception of MA students include: experience, motivation, interests and needs, expectations, and stereotypes.

Abstract

Islam adalah agama yang menjalankan misi keselamatan duniaakhirat, kesejahteraan dan kemakmuran lahir batin bagi seluruh umatmanusia dengan cara mematuhi perintah-Nya dan menjauhi segalalarangan-Nya. Islam adalah agama yang diturunkan Allah SWT kepadaNabi Muhammad SAW yang mengatur hubungan manusia denganTuhan dan juga mengatur hubungan manusia dengan manusia sertaalam jagat raya yang saling memberi manfaat, maka dari itu Islammemiliki prinsip Rahmatan lil „Alamin yaitu rahmat bagi alam semesta.Islam Rahmatan lil „Alamin menurut Majalah Bangkit adalah Islam yangdamai, adil, toleran dan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai aswaja. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine PT Grahawita Santika’s point of view about marketing communication, the mixs in marketing management doing by PT. Grahawita Santika in marketing Amaris Panglima Polim Jakarta and the reasons of choosing traveler as the targets. The method used in this research is qualitative with case study design. The theory used is symbolic interaction, social construction and Theory of Gaps Model. The datas collected through observations, interviews and document analysis. The results showed that: (1) PT Grahawita Santika markets Amaris Panglima Polim Jakarta as a smart hotel with the concepts of smart location, smart employee and smart services. (2) Mixs of marketing communication used in marketing the Amarishotel is by advertisement, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations and publications, (3) The selection of Business Traveler and Leisure Traveler as the target caused by PT Grahawita Santika saw the potential which might be met by the hotel Amaris PanglimaPolim Jakarta.

Abstract

Media memiliki potensi untuk memainkan peran dalammembantu menentukan perdamaian konflik dan resolusi konflik atau membina ketegangan dalam konflik. Paper ini bercerita tentang bagaimana peran media dalam konflik, khusunya mengintegrasikan praktik peace journalism pada konflik PT. Freeport di Papua, apakah peace journalism itu sudah diterapkan ataukah pemberitaan yang ada malah mengarah kepada war journalism. Pembahasan pada paper ini dimulai dari mengkaji konsep konflik, makna perdamaian dan peace journalism, wacana media tentang perdamaian serta resolusi konflik dan tranformasi media. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan beberapa media online belum dapat mewujudkan peace journlism atau membuat pemberitaan konflik yang damai. Pemberitaan yang menyangkut konflik PT. Freeport di Papua media cenderung membawa perannya sebagai issue intensifier. Framing dan agenda setting yang dibuat media cenderung berorientasi kepada kekerasan, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa peace journalism belumlah hidup dalam pemberitaan konflik. Media tidak bisa terbebas dari penyajian pemberitaan konflik yang selalu melibatkan ada pihak yang ‘menang’ dan ‘kalah’ karena pada dasarnya media berupaya untuk “menjual” pemberitaan konflik tersebut.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini mengangkat tentang Pesan Moral dalam Tayangan Adzan Maghrib di RCTI pada periode 2014/2015 dengan tema Bertaubat. Peneliti ini membahas tentang bagaimana pesan moral yang tekandung dalam adegan dan storyline dalam tayangan adzan maghrib di RCTI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis yang digunakan adalah semiotika menurut Roland Barthes. Analisis terhadap tayangan ini berdasarkan hasil wawancara kepada Tim Kreatif dan dokumentasi yang ditinjau dari unsur adegan-adegan pada pemeran utama dan storyline sebagai acuan pengolah data. Sebagai indikator dalam penelitian ini adalah terkait moral akhlak, diantaranya tawadhu, lemah lembut, beramal shaleh, kasih sayang, sabar, dan pemaaf. Dari penelitian diketahui bahwa dalam tayangan adzan dengan tema Bertaubat, menampilkan beberapa adegan yang mengandung pesan moral positif. Pesan moral tersebut yaitu sifat tawadhu yang dilakukan saat bertemu orang lain dan orang yang lebih tua, sifat lemah lembut dalam pergaulan, beramal shaleh dalam menjalani kehidupan, kasih sayang yang penuh kepada seorang ibu, sabar dalam menjalani pergaulan dan kehidupan antar sesama manusia, serta senantiasa memberikan maaf kepada orang lain, meskipun orang tersebut telah berbuat jahat. Pesan akhir pada tayangan adzan tersebut adalah memaafkan antar sesama sebagai upaya untuk mendapatkan kemenangan dan persatuan.

Abstract

A Research of living hadis that researcher did this time was in the Great Mosque Baitul Makmur Rejang Lebong. It consideredthat this mosque is a government and largest mosque in Curup City Rejang Lebong.Every shubuh there is always taushiyah there. As comparisons, the researcher also took the Aljihad Mosque and Nurul Huda Curup Mosque. A complete facts of the hadis submitted by the preacher from the 3 mosques. The researcher took 1 month of Ramadan for the research. How are the traditions used by theologians in preaching some hadis, whether they are in accordance with the standard practice of a hadis, that is shahih and hasan or still in dhaif and maudhu category. If qualified shahih and hasan then they should be practiced, but if they qualified dha'if and maudhu so then they must be abandoned. Majority of preachers in these three mosques in particular have delivered some hadis qualified maqbul. Minorities of them still present some hadis that qualified mardud or rejected.

Abstract

The da'i can gain knowledge about theories of personality and dakwah, and they can learn the skills of diagnosis, interviews and various techniques, dakwah approach. What is brought by da'i in dakwah work is ultimately itself as a person. The da'i bring their life experiences into relationships with mad`u. The da'i, the muballigh, the religious counselor may be able to master the theories and techniques of dakwah but are not able to become da'i or counselor who adequate, until they become therapeutic individuals. To become therapeutic individuals for others, da'i must first be therapeutic for themselves. Being a therapeutic person implies a willingness to openly explore the facets of the life of da'i himself, then try to be the ones who fit the da'i's ability. This does not mean that the preacher does not have to have something to ask other than himself, for his knowledge of the dynamics of behavior and the ability to preach is also very important. This paper is based on the writer's belief that the personality of da'i is the main capital of dakwah success, but it can also be the biggest obstacle for his efforts to move change. Thus, the author's next description reveals certain assumptions related to the personality of da'i. An important part of this paper includes, da'i as a person, the personality of da'i in relation to Mad'u, and the skill of the da'i as the religious instructor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola komunikasi keluarga cerai dalam membina perilaku anak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif sebagai data primer berupa gambar, kata-kata dan bukan angka-angka dalam sebuah wacana mengenai pola komunikasi keluarga cerai dalam membina perilaku anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa pola komunikasi yang berada di keluarga cerai cenderung tidak efektif. Pasca-cerai interaksi antara orangtua dan anak tidak akan seintents saat keluarga utuh karena kurang dibangunnya komunikasi anatara anak dan orangtua. Tetapi hal ini dapat diubah dengan membentuk pola komunikasi empatik significant others dari single mother atau single father untuk memberikan pemahaman positif bagi anak. Tujuan pola komunikasi tersebut untuk membangun kembali konstruksi konsep positif diri pada anak. Sehingga permbinaan perilaku pada anak dapat lebih mudah untuk dilakukan.

Abstract

The development of information technology media is growing day by day, as well as a variety of informations given to the public which are very diverse and purposed to provideinsight, entertainment, and knowledge for the community, so that the quality of any informations conveyed must be kept. Similar to the LPP RRI Padang, which also do not want to miss in broadcasting which he has. The religious proselytizing program in LPP RRI becomes a main menufor RRI Padang every day. Its objective is to provide religious knowledge for surroundings by the determined methods appropriate to the program. However, to improve the quality, anin-depth analysis for the message delivered is needed, so that the future proselytizing material delivered will have a goodgrade and quality. The method used in analyzing these messages is a discourse analysis using Van Dijk framework, so that eachdelivered message can be analyzed in the form of thematic, schematic, semantic, syntactic, stylistic, and rhetorical. By using the framework, there will be some assessments of the messages, and may be some improper things which is meant the language used in preaching is rather ambiguous or there is no emphasizingvalues (semantic to rhetorical) to the message sent by preachers in media such as radio
