Abstract

This study aims to determine the forms of risk of gold pawn products and the implementation of risk management of gold pawn products at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Regional Office II Medan. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview and document study. Data sources come from primary data and secondary data.The results of this study indicate that there are three crucial risks to the gold pawn product at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Regional Office II Medan namely market risk, operational risk, and credit/financing risk. The implementation of risk management for gold pawn products at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Regional Office II Medan is carried out in several stages, namely risk identification, risk measurement, risk monitoring, and risk control, in accordance with Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No.65/POJK.03/2016 regarding The Implementation of Risk Management For Islamic Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units in which PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Regional Office II Medan has carried out these stages to the maximum to deal with the risks that exist in the gold pawn product.

Abstract

As for the results of this study, spatial planning has a significant effect on employee productivity at Bank Sumut Syariah Kc Medan as seen from t count > t table (4.441> 2.048) and a smaller significance level of 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), and determination of 41.3% the contribution of office layout to productivity in this study, while the remaining 58.7% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Islamic Branidng and Religiosity on the decision to purchase HNI-HPAI Halal Mart BC Medan 8 products. This research uses quantitative methods and associative research types. The population in this research were consumers of HNI-HPAI Halal Mart BC Medan 8 and the sample used was 68 people using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used in this research are questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The analyctical method in this research used the validity and realibility of the data, the normality test, the classic assumption test, the multiple regression test, the hypothesis test and the linear coefficient of determination test. The results of the study show that: (1) Islamic Branding has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions. The results of the calculations that have been carried out are the   >  was 0,020 < 0,05, which indicates  is rejected and   is accepted. (2) Religiosity has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The results of the calculations that have been carried out are t arithmetic values  >  sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, which indicates  is rejected and  . Simultaneously it is known that Islamic Branding and Religiosity have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for HNI-HPAI Halal Mart BC Medan 8 products with a significance number of  >  (26,583 > 3,14). Based on the coefficient determination test, it shows that the R-square value is 0.929 or 92.9%, it explains that the independent variables, namely Islamic Branding and Religiosity affect the Purchase Decision of HNI-HPAI Halal Mart BC Medan Products 8. While the remaining 7.1% is influenced by variables which were not investigated in this study.

Abstract

Zakat management is carried out with various management mechanisms. However, some issues are still found in its management. There is distrust by zakat payers (Muzakki) due to the lack of transparency in reports on the use of zakat funds by the Zakat Management Organization. The low level of public trust in LAZ makes many people choose to channel it through zakat collection institutions that do not yet have official permission to manage zakat. Where the population used was the number of muzakki from 2018 to 2022, namely 464 populations. In this study, the sampling technique used by the researcher was saturated sampling. as many as 85 samples. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis technique. In this study, transparency has an effect on public interest as seen from the t count t table (7.838>1.663) and the significant level is smaller than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). In this study, accountability has an effect on public interest, as can be seen from the t count t table (3.269>1.663) and the significant level is smaller than 0.05 (0.002 <0.05). In this study, transparency and accountability affect the public interest. Fcount Ftable (88.629>3.11) and a significant level which is smaller than 0.05 (0.000<0.05), the coefficient of determination shows an R Square value of 0.684 meaning 68.4%. the simultaneous existence of transparency and accountability affects public interest in donating to Lazismu Medan city by 68.4%, and the remaining 32.6% is influenced by other variables outside of this research variable.

Abstract

The development of banking in Indonesia is currently relatively stable and continues to grow, this study aims to determine the role of savings in raising third party funds at Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Simpang Kayu Besar. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis technique. The source of the data in this research is that the primary data is interviewed with the bank and the secondary data in this study is a literature study. The bank usually collects third party funds from the public, namely by using the bank's own products consisting of demand deposits, savings and time deposits. At PT. Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Simpang Kayu Besar DPK was very high on deposit products in 2019, during the Covid-19 pandemic, deposits were not very helpful in increasing the bank's DPK. Savings have an important role in increasing third party funds at Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Simpang Kayu Besar.

Abstract

Research that has been carried out at LAZISMU Medan City through the MSME Empowerment Program by providing assistance in the form of business capital and productive facilities using zakat, infaq and alms (ZIS) funds to MSME actors. With the MSME empowermwnt program, it is hoped that it can help increase mustahik’s business. The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the potential of the ZIS funds from LAZISMU for the development of MSMEs; (2) knowing the ZIS fund distribution system carried out by LAZISMU Medan City; (3) as well as knowing the results of the distribution of ZIS funds to the development of MSMEs in Medan City. In this study using qualitative research methods with data collection starting from the results of interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be seen that the potential of ZIS funds is very helpful for mustahik in developing their business. In the LAZISMU MSME empowerment program using two system, namely the offense system and the submission system which are expected to be able to improve the community’s economy, and for the results of the distribution of ZIS funds there are several MSMEs that have increased income, but there are also MSMEs that have decreased income.
