Abstract

This study aims to review the implementation of mergers conducted by the company. In Indonesia, merger activities are regulated in Indonesia Statement of Financial Accounting Standards Number 22 (hereinafter referred to as PSAK 22) concerning Business Combinations. Increased merger activities in the business world are driven by changes in economic conditions. The rise of merger and acquisition activities was caused by various things, such as technological advances, increasing financial conditions, excess capacity/financial failure, international market consolidation and deregulation.The research method used in this research is qualitative descriptive with case studies of business combination events that occurred between PT Bank Windu Kentjana Internasional, Tbk as the party which received the merger and PT Bank Antardaerah as the company which joined. Regarding ownership, the name of PT Bank Windu Kentjana Internasional, Tbk changed to PT China Construction Bank Indonesia, Tbk (PT CCB Indonesia, Tbk).The results of this study indicate that in general, the consolidated report of PT CCB Indonesia, Tbk for the period ended December 31, 2016, in general, has been prepared by PSAK 22, 2015.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and prove the influence of customer relationship management (CRM), service quality and entrepreneurship orientation to competitive advantage and marketing performance and to analyze and prove the influence of competitive advantage to marketing performance of the public market in East Java Province. The object of this research is the whole market unit of the public in East Java Province spread over 29 regencies and 9 cities in East Java Province amounting to 335 units of the public market. The unit of analysis (analysis unit) in this research is a revitalized public market that is 67 public market in East Java Province. While the observation unit is a trader or tenant of a community market stand in East Java Province. The number of public market traders in the market that has been revitalized today is 25,000. In this study, researchers measured the marketing performance of the Public market in East Java Province based on the perception of the trader or tenant stand, so the measure of marketing performance is perceptual. The sample used is 190 merchants. The number is spread across 67 units of the public market in East Java Province. The model to be used in this research is the model of causality or relationship. To test the proposed hypothesis, the analysis technique uses SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), with AMOS statistic software. The results of hypothesis testing: Customer relationship management, Quality of service and entrepreneurial orientation significantly influence the competitive advantage of the market public in East Java Province. Customer relationship management and service quality significantly influence the marketing performance of the public market in East Java Province, while the orientation of entrepreneurship has no significant effect on marketing performance of the public market in East Java Province. Competitive advantage influences the marketing performance of public market significantly in East Java Province.

Abstract

Humans cannot live apart from their surroundings. Environment for humans is one of the most important elements in their lives because all life necessities are available in it. Communities in and around forests have a high dependence on forests because forests are considered capable of meeting household needs in the form of food, shelter, traditional medicines and economic resources for the community. This study aims to find a relationship between social capital and the carrying capacity of the community in preserving Tembawang. This research was carried out based on exploratory and descriptive methods. Respondents studied were 136 people. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used include interviews, questionnaires, documentary studies, field observations. The conclusion of the research results is that the individual characteristics in this study are conditions that are inherent in an individual or someone. Community social capital in Tembawang management in Raden-Village Paloan Hamlet is good. Proactive actions in the Raden- Village Paloan Hamlet community are one of the important elements in social capital, namely the strong desire of group members not only to participate but always to find ways for their involvement in community activities. Based on the study, it can be suggested that the formation of a good social network in Tembawang conservation management efforts in Raden Village Paloan Hamlet; and is expected to be able to initiate the establishment of customary schools as part of the Tembawang conservation efforts.

Abstract

Empowerment is the giving of strength to individuals or groups to be more empowered than before and has a responsibility in exercising the authority entrusted to them. Therefore, empowerment is essential for an institution as a form of enormous internal power contributing to the institution. With the empowerment, institutions are increasingly responsive to change, renewal science, and technology, especially in the field of education which continues to grow following the demands of the times. This research focuses on empowering education personnel in managing facilities and infrastructure at the Teacher Training and Education Faculty. The focus of this study is "How is the empowerment of educational staff in managing facilities and infrastructure at the Teacher Training and Education Faculty?". Based on the focus of the research, the research problems are detailed as follows: 1. What is the planning of empowering education personnel in managing facilities and infrastructure? 2. How is the implementation of the empowerment of education staff in managing facilities and infrastructure?. 3 What are the steps taken by the faculty leaders in empowering education personnel? 4. How is the evaluation of the empowerment of education personnel in managing facilities and infrastructure? 5. What are the factors that support and inhibit empowering communities against the revitalization of education?This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection tools used were interviews, observation and documentation guidelines. Based on the results of the study, it was found that empowerment planning was carried out by a team that had been formed to create a program based on the faculty's vision and mission. In implementing the empowerment of education staff the leaders coordinated, but on the other hand,  the methods used to optimize work were still conventional. Evaluation of the empowerment of education personnel is carried out still by manual process, including the reporting system: The supporting factors include; Availability of internet access and utilization of technology for monitoring. Openness in planning to evaluation. The participation of all faculties in ensuring the optimization of education staff. Dedication and totality of education staff, especially team who have been assigned for more than five years in FKIP. While the inhibiting factors include: The flow of institutional planning and organization at the university which is considered too long (less simple), most monitoring and evaluation systems still use manuals, but online (modern) reporting and evaluation systems are being prepared. Central government policies related to the procurement of facilities and infrastructure that must be submitted a maximum of two years earlier. All activities need to be planned with good predictions so that challenges for HR (Human Resources) planning. The absence of performance monitoring technology, such as CCTV as a support tool for staff control in managing facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The facts that occur in the field show that the performance of government employees as public services still has not achieved the performance increased; based on the Government Agency Performance Accountability Report of the Kapuas Hulu Regency regional secretariat in 2012. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Interpersonal Skills on the Performance of the Kapuas Hulu Regency Regional Secretariat Staff. This study uses a quantitative research approach the method used is the survey method. The population in this study were all employees (civil servant status) who worked in the regional secretariat of Kapuas Hulu Regency, totaling 137 employees. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. Based on the results of sample calculations in this study there were 102 employees. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study was conducted using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and statistical inferential. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis it can be concluded that Interpersonal Skills have a positive direct effect on employee performance. That is, improving employee performance at the Kapuas Hulu Regency Regional Secretariat can be done by increasing the interpersonal skills possessed by employees.

Abstract

The number of SMEs and the absorption of large manpower does not contribute greatly to the value of production and investment in the agro-industry sector and non-agro industry sector is a reflection of most SMEs in Bima city. This problem occurs because there are so many considerations of it, one of them is lack of competence of SMEs business sector, the limitations in the ability to adapt with the environment changes including market of innovation, access to information and financing, the difficulty in the procurement of capital and cheap, the limitations in innovation, technology changing that will affect all business performance of SMEs. The higher social competence (interaction, social relations, and social adaptation) owned by entrepreneurs, the greater financial success that entrepreneurs will achieve and improve business performance. The research method used is explanatory research by using a survey sampling approach. Conventionally, explanatory research is used to explain the relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. Then, the questionnaires will be distributed 156 SMEs in Bima city where the questionnaire have tested the validity and reliability then processed by using SPSS so that the accuracy of analytical tools can be reliable. The long-term goal to be achieved is increasing the competitive advantage and performance of SMEs throughout Bima city. The specific targets of this research are the enhancement of competitive advantage and performance of SMEs in Bima city with the entrepreneurial competence that is able to build business network and assimilate to external environment changes that encourage the efficient use of resources, improving the ability to build business networks, multiple sources of economic growth, create employment, networking in collaboration with business partners and enhancement of competitiveness, a better service for  clients and customers are need to be improved where they are not dependent on imported products that undermine the society economic tenacity, the ability to express themselves in constructing social relationship. The results of the t-test statistic for the obtained variable are t-count of 5.964 with a t-table value of 1.645 (5.964 ˃ 1.661) with a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), the hypothesis that "Entrepreneurship competency influences SME financial performance in Bima City”. The results of the t-test statistic for the obtained variable are t-count of 0.373 with a t-table value of 1.645 (0.373 < 1.645) with a significance value of 0.710 greater than 0.05 (0.710 ˃ 0.05), hence the hypothesis that "Environmental Adaptability Business influences the financial performance of SMEs in Bima city.

Abstract

This study aims to review the consignment income recognition and measurement from the consignee. Up to now, there is no specific Indonesia Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (hereinafter referred to as PSAK) that regulates the recognition, measurement, and disclosure of consignment revenues. The PSAK used in this study refers to PSAK 23, 2017 on Corporate Revenues.The research method used in this research is qualitative descriptive by comparing data obtained from direct observations in a company with theories and financial accounting standards related to consignment income. The population used in this study is the financial statements of 2017 from the retail sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Based on the examination of 93 companies regarding consignment transaction information, this study obtained a final sample of 10 companies. This paper analyzes the application in the consignment income recognition and measurement in retail companies to further examine its suitability with revenue recognition by PSAK 23, 2017.This study finds that the retail sub-sector companies have some similarities in recording consignment revenues and have obediently made disclosures related to consignment sales revenue following PSAK 23, 2017 even though there was no specific PSAK regulating consignment.

Abstract

Transactions through e-commerce have a high potential risk. Therefore, the trust factor of customers towards the vendor becomes a key factor in e-commerce. Indonesia as a developing country and about the last five years adopted e-commerce, absolutely, has some differences with developed countries that have been long practicing it. These differences are at least related to regulatory issues, legal device, and consumer behavior. In relation to the e-commerce practice in Bima city that is still relatively new, the interesting phenomenon to be studied is the extent to which customers trust and how it affects the level of customer participation in e-commerce. The aims of this research are (1) to analyze the effect of the trust dimension variable which includes ability, virtue, and integrity to Indonesian costumers participation; (2) As information about the trust dimension of costumers e-commerce in Bima city, so the company can choose the right strategy to improve trust and people participation in using e-commerce as a future business transaction system. The study has been conducting in Bima city for 1 year from December 2017 to December 2018. This research is divided into several steps, namely 1) Preparation (2) Implementation, (3) Reporting, (4) Monitoring, evaluation, and dissemination. The technique of data collection used in this study that is (1) Questionnaire, (2) Observation, (3) Study book. Technique of Data Collection used is multiple regression analysis using equation, that is: Y = a + b1x1 + b2x2 + b3x3. The results of the study concluded that the dimensions of trust, ability, and benevolence have a positive and significant effect on the participation of e-commerce customers in Bima City. While variable integrity does not have a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, testing these three variables together has a positive and significant influence.

Abstract

The role of SMEs in the economy of a country, including Indonesia, cannot be underestimated. For example, in the Netherlands, SMEs constitute 98.8% of existing companies and absorb 55% of the workforce. A total of 35 million US dollars of Italian exports is the contribution of SMEs that absorb 2.2 million workers. In Vietnam, 64% of the workforce is absorbed by SMEs. The same thing happened in Indonesia. One application of ICT and the internet in the field of business and trade is electronic commerce (e-commerce). The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of e-commerce on improving the performance of SMEs. Sample to be studied is Small Business Medium in Cilacap, Indonesia. This study uses quota sampling that will be taken a sample of 30 units of SMEs. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling Analyzed performance difference is the performance of SMEs in the show with two dimensions of the increasing number of sales and number of relations, Analysis using statistical program package. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that e-commerce has a positive effect on performance SMEs. This is shown by the increasing sales and relationships of SMEs. More sales will increase the income that the end is the welfare of SMEs.
