Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify an inhibiting factor of teachers and to seek a solution in mathematics learning process at senior high school in Dompu NTB. This is a qualitative-descriptive research. The subject of this research is five mathematics teachers who spread out at five high schools. Research data is gained by a means of: 1) a field note; 2) interview; 3) questionnaire, & 4) document. Datum analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. The result of this research shows that the inhibiting factor of the teacher s in mathematics learning process: 1) students, low basic knowledge on mathematics concept they have, specially lack of mastering a basic subject; 2) teachers, the teachers only tend to teach the basic matter on mathematics concept; 3) learning process , teachers’ low motivation in combining and implementing various models of learning approach which make the students miss mathematics; 4) a learning evaluation, lack of teacher’s skill and knowledge in designing the learning evaluation instrument, and 5) a learning means and instrument, no proper media of mathematics learning at schools, no creativity, no innovation, and no teaching art of teachers in arranging the learning media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of MGMP-based mentoring in an effort to improve teacher competence in preparing a good and correct RPP. The method of this study using the method of school action research. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle twice a meeting. The stages of each cycle are planning, execution, observation, and reflection. The indicators of success in this study are; 1) the results of principal observation and teacher observation during the mentoring process has obtained the average score> 4.0, 2) teacher work in the preparation of RPP reach> 85% with the average value> 80.00. The result of the research in cycle I was observed by the principal average (3.50), average teacher observation (3.63) and average individual work result value (60.28) with percentage of achievement (0%). In cycle II the mean principal observation (4.60), average teacher observation (4.25) and average individual work result value (91.39) with percentage of achievement (100%). The success indicator has been reached, the research stated successful and stopped in cycle II. The conclusion obtained from the results of this study is the implementation of assistance can improve the competence of target teachers SMA Negeri 2 Mataram in the preparation of good and correct RPP based on KTSP.

Abstract

The research purpose is aimed to know the different mass of black potatoes (Soleneotemon rotndifolius (Poir) J.K Mort.) towards is growing speed. The type of the research in this study is true experimental research in which the research uses split plot design. The technique of data collecting method used in this study is direct observation. Meanwhile, the data analyzing technique used to analyze the data in this study is analysis of variance (ANOVA). The sampel in this research was given five different treatment is A in which the potato mass is 1 gr with water concentration 100%, the second treatment is is B wich the potato mass is 3 gr with water concentration 100%, the third treatment is C with the potato mass is 1 gr with water concentration 100%, fourth treatment is D with 6 gr potato mass is 1 gr with water concentration 100%, the last treatment is E with 7 gr potato mass is 1 gr with water concentration 100%. There were three repetition given to every single treatment. Based on the result of experiment, it was found that the number of the leafs is F-calculation 1.090, the huge of the leaft is 1.000 F-calculation, steam diameter is 0.837 t-calculation, the height of the steam is 0.0710 t-calculation, and the F-table is 0.837 the level of significance 0.05 and 5.99 at the level of significance 0.01. Thus, the study conluded that there is significant influence the different mass of black potatoes (Soleneotemon rotndifolius (Poir) J.K Mort.) towards its growing speed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce an IT-based psychomotor assessment instrument in learning the penjasorkes on the long jump material in junior high school students. This research uses research and development (R & D) method by adopting Rowntree development model. The stages in the development of assessment instrument consists of three stages: 1) phase I is the planning stage, 2) phase II that is development stage, 3) stage III that is evaluation stage. Data collection techniques in this development using expert validation test and questionnaire practicality psychomotor assessment instrument. Validation value of validator equal to 84,37% and practical value from observer equal to 82,28%. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the usefulness of the instruments of assessment in learning mathematics material covered, any Barriers faced by teachers of mathematics in assessment Instruments and devised alternative solutions to consider in drawing up the instrument for the assessment of attitudes, knowledge and skills. The research approach used in this research is descriptive research is qualitative exploration. The results showed that the teacher makes an instrument of systematic assessment and runtun if seen on the plan of implementation of the learning on the syllabus, the RPP and the Synod of the teacher. But on the other hand that the results of this study explained that teacher assessment tests are instruments devised only to the alleviation of material being taught, then reserved only focused on numbers, not many questions are structured to stimulate the mindset of students where students are required to familiarise problem-solving, so the thinking skills of students both at a high level, critical, creative, and solving the problem is not to obtrusive, only play on numbers alone.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' ability to produce Recount text through personalization by Three Phases Techniques method. This research uses classroom action research method. This PTK is conducted within 3 (three) cycles in which each cycle lasts for 3 meetings, and each meeting takes 2 x 45 minutes. Evaluation results in each cycle show significant progress. In the first cycle, the average score reached 77.60 students with the percentage of completeness reached 81.39%, based on 75K Maximum Criterion (KKM) 75.00. In the second cycle, the average value of students increased to 79.90% with the percentage of completeness reached 83.72%. Because the percentage of mastery has not reached the classical completeness requirement (85%), then proceed with the third cycle. Results of the third cycle showed that the average value of students increased to 83.80% and the percentage of completeness reached 95.30%. This indicates that in this cycle there has been a classical completeness in which the minimum standard is 85%. Abstract

This study aims to develop an authentic assessment instrument on a volleyball game with a peer assessment system approach. This research uses research and development method. Data analysis is done by following mechanism. First the validity of the content of the instrument by the judgment ekspert analyzed using Aiken formula, obtained the validity of 0.90 count. Both test data of the validity of grain (empirical), analyzed using Product Moment formula obtained correlation coefficient of all instrument items bigger than table price with significant 5% tarap, with the meaning of all instrument items valid. The three test data of internal consistency reliability of the instrument, analyzed using Alpha Cronbach formula, obtained the calculated value of 0.82, which stated that the reliability is very high. The five practicalities of the instrument were analyzed with the T Score formula, obtained by an average score of 50, which means that the instrument is classified as practical for students. This means that the results of the research and development of the performance appraisal instrument with the peeer assessment system model in the developed volleyball game have fulfilled the validity, reliability and practical requirements, and are expected to be an evaluation tool that can be used (alternativ) by the teacher of the school in primary and secondary schools (Junior high school, high school).

Abstract

Study aims to explain the application of guidebooks in minimizing concerns on speaking class students of English Teachers IKIP PGRI MADIUN. Methodology of writing using methods developed for the study, developed teaching materials. Based on observations at the Teachers IKIP PGRI MADIUN third semester students of English Education courses are approximately 70% of the students who this concern when performing exams speaking. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, documentation, and testing during learning process to determine the speaking abilities of students. Outcomes of this study is in the form of guide books, articles published in national online journals is not accredited and is also manifested in the scientific seminar national and international scale. According to the research, high criteria, quite, low before was low 4 student, quite 24 students, and one student in terms of high pretest. Researchers suggest that efforts should be made to help reduce the level of student concerns are still high is to optimize the service

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the correlation between school management information system and work effectiveness of staff at SMK Hasanuddin Mataram. The method of data gathering used questionnaire and interview. The data were analyzed statically by using correlation product moment. The results indicated that, r-table equals to 0,311, r-test at the significance level of 5% with N=48 It was obtained 0,248 this shows that r- test is bigger than r-table or 0,311>0,248, thus the result of this research is significant. This means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Hence, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between school management information systems and work effectiveness of staff at SMK Hasanuddin Mataram.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the accuracy of lecturer's social competence in learning which includes the ability to express the opinion, the ability to accept criticism of suggestion and opinion of others, to know the students better as learners, easy to get along among the peers, employees and students, tolerance to diversity college student. The research was done by exspost facto with sampling technique using purposive sampling. Collecting and recording the scores of all aspects of lecturer's social competence from various assessors. Then analyzed statistically described the Mean and Standard Deviasinya, estimated with the level of significance (ts) 5% using the formula Mp = Mo ts. , correlated with Product Moment correlation formula is rXY =, calculated its determination with 100% formula. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that (1) Social Competence of lecturer in learning is Very Good; (2) The accuracy of lecturer's social competence in learning is high, with value 0,678 - 0,848, which is estimated at all lecturer UNSA 0,606 - 0,897, with determination value equal to 45,97 - 71,91%. From the conclusion of this analysis also found that still around 2.7 - 9.7 or 3 - 10 assessors declared the social competence of lecturers in learning-not good even very bad ". Similarly found inaccuracy of social competence of lecturers in learning 28.09 - 54.03% spread across all aspects of social competence of lecturers in learning. On the basis of the results of this study is considered necessary efforts to develop the social competence of lecturers through institutional and institutional scientific activities, as well as through the independent creativity of individual lecturers
