Abstract

Pepper cultivation has not been maximally empowered by the community because paprika chili will grow well at a temperature of 210C degrees Celsius to a temperature of 270C. This study aims to determine the effect of using compost and pumakal liquid fertilizer from pineapple waste on the growth of paprika chili from the results of article review. This research is a qualitative research with several articles related to the effect of liquid waste on the growth of paprika plants. Results Based on the research that has been done, there is a significant effect of using compost and pumacal liquid fertilizer from pineapple waste on the growth of chili peppers.

Abstract

The learning process in higher education, especially biology education, cannot be separated from practicum activities. The process of practicum activities with various observations of course requires a proper practicum guide so that the development of a microtechnical practicum guide is needed. The practical guide accompanied by the android system is expected to help students to more easily carry out practicum activities. Of course, these studies require a valid theoretical study to support scientific work to be better. This paper aims to describe the understanding of theory, the different forms of theory, the role and function of theory, as well as theory building techniques, including the practical ability to produce citations in theoretical research using methods and methods of citing references and this paper aims to find out that the development of an android-based practicum guide can be used as a reference. learning media by examining various articles that have been published.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran IPA membutuhkan model pembelajaran yang memungkinkan peserta didik membangun pengetahuan selama proses kognitif. Untuk lebih memahami masalah, topik, dan isu yang muncul di lingkungan peserta didik, guru menggunakan berbagai sumber, informasi, dan ide untuk mempelajari, salah satunya adalah dengan model pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013. Keterampilan proses sains adalah keterampilan berpikir yang digunakan untuk membangun pengetahuan, memecahkan masalah, dan merumuskan hasil. Dalam model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, siswa diberikan masalah, topik, dan pertanyaan, dan metode serta analisis hasil dan kesimpulan dilakukan oleh siswa di bawah bimbingan intensif dari guru. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini mendokumentasikan hasil studi pengembangan dari beberapa jurnal yang dilakukan oleh para peneliti dan dianalisis serta divalidasi oleh penulis dengan menggunakan referensi dan studi pustaka. Analisis penulis menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing dapat melatih dan meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a theoretical aspect regarding the content of liquid and solid waste from a palm oil mill and its effect on the growth of agarwood plants. One of the most promising commodities in the industrial world is cooking oil, so palm oil as a CPO-producing plant is widely developed in Indonesia. Apart from being a producer of CPO, palm oil also has other roles or benefits. From the results of the literature study, it is known that palm oil waste has characteristics, including pH 4.0-6.0, BOD 20,000 mg/l - 60,000 mg/l, COD 40,000 mg/l - 12,000 mg/l, N 500 mg/ l - 900 mg/l, P from 90 mg/l - 140 mg/l, K from 260 mg/l - 400 mg/l, Ca from 1,000 mg/l -2,000 mg/l and Mg from 250 mg/l - 350 mg/l. There are many research journals that examine the content of palm oil waste, all of which state that palm oil waste contains macro elements needed by plants to grow and develop. Therefore, solid and liquid waste from palm oil mills can be used as organic fertilizer. Literature studies or literature studies are carried out from relevant and scientifically accountable sources so that they get valid data and become the basis of a new research. The conclusion of this study is that compost and organic liquid fertilizer from palm oil waste contains the nutrients needed for plant growth, including agarwood plants which are currently in a rare status.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian: (1) menghasilkan produk model pembelajaran Keanekargaman Hayati berbasis Ekosistem Mangrove sebagai Sumber Belajar Kelas X di SMAN 1 Cukuh Balak, (2) mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan model pembelajaran Keanekargaman Hayati berbasis Ekosistem Mangrove dan (3) mengetahui tingkat keefektifan model pembelajaran Keanekargaman Hayati berbasis Ekosistem Mangrove. Research and development adalah Penelitian yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran Keanekargaman Hayati berbasis Ekosistem Mangrove sebagai Sumber Belajar Kelas X di SMAN 1 Cukuh Balak tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Hutan mangrove di pantai Kecamatan Cukuh Balak mempunyai arti yang sangat penting baik sebagai suatu ekosistem maupun sebagai sumber daya alam. Keberadaan hutan mangrove di Cukuh Balak ini mulai mengalami perubahan disebabkan karena adanya Campur tangan manusia yang semakin meningkat terhadap hutan mangrove dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan atau meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya, Hutan Mangrove bisa digunakan sebagaih bahan belajar siswa SMAN 1 Cukuh Balak Kelas X pada materi Keanekaragaman Hayati.

Abstract

Nata de mushroom is one of the products produced by fermenting boiled water of white oyster mushrooms. White oyster mushroom boiled water has a high carbohydrate content of about 57.6%-81.8% dry weight and a high water content of 86.6%. So that it can be used in the manufacture of nata de mushrooms with the addition of red dragon fruit peel extract. The purpose of this study was to determine the organoleptic and chemical characteristics of nata de mushroom. This research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. Data analysis using One Way Anova. The results of the study are expected to be well received by the public as well as the previous nata de leri, besides that the organoleptic test of nata can be liked and has high fiber and water content. This research is expected to be a source of learning biology at the high school level.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan protein nabati dari daun singkong dan juga pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan kelinci. Potensi sebagai hewan ternak pedaging dan juga hias menjadi suatu daya pikat bagi masyarakat untuk memilihara kelinci. Hal ini juga didukung dengan produktifitas kelinci yang baik dan memiliki gizi yang tinggi untuk di kosumsi. Pakan adalah faktor penting yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan kelinci. Sumber pakan yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kelinci salah satunya daun singkong karena mengandung nilai nutrisi yang cukup tinggi dan sangat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan kelinci. Kandungan gizi yang terdapat pada daun singkong meliputi BK 25,30%, PK 25,10%, LK 12,70%, SK 11,40%, BETN 46,10%, Ca 1,10-1,40%, dan P 0,25-0,30% sedangkan Kandungan asam amino arginin 5,9%; histidin 1,9%; isoleusin 4,4%; leusin 8,0%; lysin 5,6%; metionin 1,5%; penilalanin 5,7%; treonin 4,0%; tirosin 4,0%; valin 5,3%.

Abstract

Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one type of filter feeder, which is an animal that eats particles and organic matter and living things suspended in the air, generally by passing air into the animal's filter structure. Cadmium (Cd) has toxicity (the ability of a chemical substance to cause an organism) even at low concentrations. Antioxidants are substances that can slow down or prevent the oxidation process. This substance is significantly able to slow down or inhibit the oxidation of substances that are easily oxidized even in low concentrations. The main use of antioxidants is to stop or break the chain reaction of free radicals by donating one electron to compounds that are oxidants so that the activity of these oxidant compounds can be inhibited. Natural antioxidants are flavonoid compounds which are a group of polyphenolic compounds derived from plants such as tea, fruits, vegetables, and Indonesian spices such as turmeric, ginger, chili, shallots, garlic, and others.

Abstract

Abstrak: Bumbu mengandung antioksidan alami yang dapat menangkal radikal bebas dalam tubuh. Radikal bebas dapat ditimbulkan oleh zat pencemar yang masuk kedalam tubuh manusia. Limbah logam berat timbal (Pb) merupakan zat pencemar yang berbahaya bagi tubuh manusia jika terkontaminasi dalam jumlah kadar tertentu. Limbah Pb dapat masuk kedalam tubuh melalui makanan yang dikonsumsi. Kepiting bakau memiliki potensi yang besar dapat tercemar logam timbal karena habitatnya berada di daerah hilir yang menerima pasokan limbah dari hulu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh bumbu terhadap kandungan Pb dalam daging kepiting bakau. Sampel daging kepiting bakau diambil dari tambak Pasir Sakti Lampung Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 perlakuan, 1 sebagai kontrol dan 3 perlakuan dengan variasi bumbu yang berbeda (5, 10, dan 12 jenis bumbu). Masing-masing perlakuan memiliki 8 ulangan. Kemudian sampel dianalisis kandungan Pb menggunakan metode spektrofotometer uv-vis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik, Fhit > Fdaf (25,27 > 2,95) maka H0 ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh perlakuan variasi bumbu terhadap kandungan Pb pada daging kepiting bakau. Kata kunci: antioksidan, kepiting bakau (Scylla olivacea), logam timbal (Pb)

Abstract

The broken and priceless of papaya in the market potentially modified as Nata called nata de papaya with the help of Acetobacter xylinum. During the fermentation, acid condition were needed by bacteria to growth and developement. Acetid acid glasial 99,8% were needed to make acid condition. The use of Averrhoa bilimbi as the subtitutan of glacial acetid acid were predicted can reduce the effect of chemical substance in food. The aim of this study to 1) know the effect of adding averrhoa bilimbi water toward the quality of nata de papaya, and 2) determined the exactly level of the averrhoa bilimbi extract toward the quality of nata de papaya. This research use Complitely Randomized Design (CRD) using 3 treatment of adding averrhoa bilimbi extract (2 ml, 5 ml, 8 ml) and 6 replicant. The data were collected by the observation by using measurement tools and organoleptic test by presenting 10 panelis. Data were analized by using Kruskal Wallis Analisis. Based on the result, could be known that there is no relation of treatment by adding averhoa bilimbi toward quality of nata de papaya. which is shown that averhoa bilimbi could subtitute the role of glacial acetid acid in the process of making nata de papaya.
