Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with Randomized Control Group Design experimental method. The experimental class was treated using the GI model, the control class used the STAD model with the material of technological development. Sample This study used 2 experimental classes involving 40 students and 2 control classes involving 40 students taken from 91 selected by purposive random sampling. Research instruments, affective and psychomotor observation sheets, response questionnaires and cognitive test pre-test and post-test results. Data analysis uses the two-way Anava Test. The results of the analysis of the social studies learning process on the technological developments taught by the GI type cooperative learning model encourage students to be more creative and critical. Students are more focused and directly involved in determining the topics they like to investigate. Effectiveness test results show classical learning completeness above 75%. The value of cognitive improvement in student learning is the gain value of the four groups at 0.3 ≤ g <0.7. Suggestions that can be given, the lecturer must pay more attention to the type because it can affect student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Nowadays, teacher professionalism is a fundamental issue in education sector due to the following reasons. Firstly, the data of UKG results in 2015 indicates that the teachers are not competent. Secondly, the global situation requires teachers to produce competent, independent, and competitive human resources. Facing the era of Asean Economic Community (MEA), teachers are increasingly required to be more competent in order to produce qualified and competitive Indonesian human beings. In order to improve the teacher professionalism, there are two key ideas that are important to do. First, Continuing Professionalism Development (CPD), ie a natural learning experience and deliberate activities planned to provide direct benefits to teachers and the quality of learning in the classroom. Second, ongoing formation, ie activities that are voluntarily performed by teachers without coercion from other parties. For example, the teachers take special time to study by reading books, taking courses, workshops or seminars. These are possible if the teachers have the will to be better.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the process of using the SQ3R strategy and whether the implementation of the SQ3R strategy can improve students' reading comprehension skills. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach with the type of research is classroom action research. The population of this study were all fifth grade students of SD Inpres BTN IKIP I Makassar City. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of the formative tests conducted at the end of the first cycle only reached 66.66% with an average of 7.16 being in sufficient qualifications. During this formative test, only 20 students were able to answer the questions well. In the second cycle increased to 90% or 27 students obtained a score of ≥ 70 with an average of 8.03. Based on observations of student activities, obtained data that student activity experienced a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II. Where in the first cycle, the activities of students have been in the good category and the silus II is in the very good category. Improving student outcomes in reading comprehension shows that the application of SQ3R strategies can improve students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the application of problem solving approaches to mathematics subjects in class V SDN 158 Watallipu and to find out the application of problem solving approaches can improve student learning outcomes. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The results of the observation analysis of teacher activity in cycle I are in less qualification (K) and cycle II is in good qualification (B). The results of observations of student activities in the first cycle are in less qualification (K) and second cycle is in good qualification (B). Learning outcomes in the first cycle are in less qualification (K) because they have not reached the minimum completeness criteria caused by factors researchers lack guiding students to read story problems to completion to find out the type of problem and the researcher did not give students the opportunity to respond to the results obtained another group, because the first cycle was not successful, the study continued into cycle II with various improvements. Cycle II has an increase, namely being in good qualification (B) and has reached a predetermined indicator. The conclusion in this study is to apply the approach to problem solving (problem solving) can improve student learning processes and student mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of student learning interest on Social Sciences. In research that becomes an indicator of research, namely perseverance in learning, awareness in learning; enthusiastic and like learning as an independent variable and learning outcomes as an indicator to see the extent of students' interest in learning social studies. The research method used in this research is quantitative by sampling using saturated sample methods because of the small population. As an instrument used to obtain valid data, namely the questionnaire so that the data in the study is primary data. Data analysis uses simple linear regression. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of Student Learning Interests on changes in student Learning Outcomes. The R Square number is 0.463. This value shows that as much as 46.3% of the variability in student learning outcomes can be explained by student learning interests, while the remaining 41.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain answers to the problems: about whether there is a difference in the level of physical fitness between students of PGSD class I and students of PGSD class K at Cokroaminoto University. The population of this study was all students in PGSD I and PGSD K classes aged 16-19 years. The type of approach used is descriptive research, and the research instrument is: Physical fitness level test. Processing of research data is using descriptive statistics using the t test. by using a significant level of α 0.05. The following data can be obtained: that there are differences in physical fitness between PGSD I and PGSD K at Cokroaminoto University.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research. The research aims: 1) To find out how the process of improving learning outcomes of reading comprehension by applying the CIRC model to students VI SDN 115 Pinrang. 2) To improve the results of reading comprehension learning by applying the CIRC model to students VI SDN 115 Pinrang. The research approach is a qualitative approach with the type of research is classroom action research. This study focuses on the process and student learning outcomes by implementing CIRC type cooperative learning. The subjects of this study were teachers and class V students totaling 14 people consisting of 8 men and 6 women. The design of research actions used, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques and procedures used are observation, tests, and documentation. Furthermore, the data is analyzed and processed qualitatively. The results of the study were reading students' understanding, in the first cycle categorized as C (Enough) and in the second cycle categorized as B (Good). Conclusion The application of the CIRC model can improve the results of Indonesian language learning about reading comprehension of class students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between reading habits and the ability of science literacy in students of SMP Negeri 2 Bua Ponrang. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, to determine the correlation used product moment correlation. The results show that the r count value is smaller than r table, so it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between reading habits and scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

This study generally aims to determine the relationship of outdoor activity with Scene Settings in Elementary School Science Learning PGSD University Students Cokroaminoto Palopo. This research is a quantitative research. The research model used in this study is the correlational model. This research hypothesis was tested using two-way analysis of variance (ANAVA). The sample of this study was PGSD University Cokroaminoto Palopo University. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a positive relationship between outdoor activities and scene settings (2) there is a positive positive relationship between outdoor activities and scene settings in science learning of PGSD students at Cokroaminoto Palopo University.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulum 2013 dari segi konteks (latar belakang, tujuan, lingkungan sekolah, dan kebutuhan pada pembelajaran kurikulum 2013) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 33 Solie Kabupaten Soppeng. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis evaluasi yang dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 33 Solie Kabupaten Soppeng dengan menggunakan metode analisis secara kuantitatif bersifat deskriptif. Data yang dikaji bersumber dari kepala sekolah, guru kelas 1, 4, dan 5, dan siswa berjumlah 37 orang, 18 laki-laki dan 19 perempuan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang telah melaksanakan pembelajaran kurikulum 2013. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara (indikator latar belakang dan tujuan pembelajaran), observasi (indikator lingkungan dan kebutuhan pada pembelajaran kurikulum 2013), dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komponen konteks pembelajaran tematik di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 33 Solie Kabupaten Soppeng berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi dengan kepala sekolah dan guru masuk dalam kategori baik.
