Jurnal Manajemen dan Ilmu Administrasi Publik (JMIAP) memuat artikel dan karya ilmiah baik berupa hasil penelitian maupun non penelitian. <![CDATA[This study describes the impact of the development of pedestrians on the beach of Air Manis, Padang City on the increase in the number of visits to the Batu Malin Kundang beach tourism object. The author uses a theoretical concept based on Mill's opinion in the basis of tourism theory about the impact of developing tourist attractions. Descriptive analysis is the research method used and purposive sampling technique is used in determining research informants. By collecting data using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study explain that with the development of a pedestrian on the air manis beach, the city of padang, increased tourist visits at Batu Malin Kundang beach tourism object because this pedestrian creates a new attraction for the air manis beach tourism area so it can also improve the economy of the people of Air Manis village. Even so, this development also produces environmental impacts such as poor cleanliness and the creation of water pollution near the Malin Kundang stone monument.]]>

<![CDATA[This study describes the impact of work culture in implementing the e-planning application to realize good governanc e studies in the Planning ,Research and Development Agency of 50 Kota. There search method used is descriptive qualitative, because the problems are complex so that it requires interviews and observations to get valid data. The selection of informants was carried out by using purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the impact of work culture in implementing E-Planning applications to achieve Good Governance at Bapelitbang Kabupaten 50 Kota it has had a good impact but there are still some problems that the authors haveen countered, among others: there are still delays in the preparation and inp t of planning documents, there are no awards given to employees, accommodation of RPJPD programs in application E-Planning and there are still employees who don't understand how to use the E-Planning application.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the impact of civil service work culture on service quality in the Please Care Papa program in Padang Pariaman Regency. Please Care Papa is an online service that is useful forhelp identify the needs of the poor based on profiles in an integrated database linking the poor to social protection and poverty alleviation programs carried out by the Central Government, Provincial Governments and District Governments according to the needs of the poor. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The selection of informants was used by purposive sampling technique. In collecting data, the writer uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of the research that have been carried out can be concluded that not all services can run with the online system seen from the target users of the Please Care Papa website are the poor who have limitations and the ability to technology. The lack of socialization provided to the community is also an obstacle in implementing this online service so that there are still many people who do not know about the online services provided by the Office for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection through the Please Care Papa website.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to analyze the strategy of Padang City Government in developing the Muaro Lasak beach as tourism icons. This was a qualitative research with descriptive qualitative method. Informants of this research were determined with purposive sampling, that was Tourism and Culture Department of Padang City, Public Works and Public Housing Services of Padang City, the tourists, traders, and parking attendants on the Muaro Lasak beach. This research used primary and secondary data derived from observation, interview, and documentation study. Validity tested of this data used source triangulation technique, and than the data were analyzed with qualitative data technique. The results of the research showed that neeed increased supervision, security and development in the strategy of Padang City Government in developing the Muaro Lasak beach as tourism icons. In addition, there are supporting factors and inhibiting factors in this case.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the implementation of the policy of rehabilitating uninhabitable houses into habitable houses in west pasaman regency. This research was motivated by the seriousness of the government in meeting the basic needs of housing through improving the quality of houses, the problems raised were related to budget constraints and lack of socialization by the organizers to the community. To answer this problem, interviews were conducted with 5 sources. This research was conducted at the housing and settlement service of west pasaman regency. The tools used for data analysis were qualitative. According to the results of interviews conducted, the implementation of the rehabilitation policy for unfit for habitation in west pasaman regency has been implemented during 2017-2019 and continues until 2025. The number of houses that have been rehabilitated based on the decree of the regent of west Pasaman Regency is 475 housing units.]]>

<![CDATA[This article describe the factors that cause fishermen children who drop out of school in Pasia Nan Tigo Subdistrict Koto Tangah Padang City. In this study, it was intended to find out what are the factors taht cause fishermen’s children to drop out of school in Pasia Nan TigoVillage. This Research uses qualitative approach, and research type using descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study through interviews, observations and documentation studies, instruments in this study are interview guidelines that have been prepared, as well as mobile phones to collect data in research. In the research data reduction can be drawn conclusions from the data taht has been obtained. The results showed that the factors that cause fishermen to drop out of school in Pasia Nan Tigo Village are the economic factors of parents, the environment,parents’ awareness about the meaning of education, workfactors and interest an motivation factors.]]>

<![CDATA[This study is describes the impact of work culture in improving employee performance in DISPARPORA South Coastal Regency.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior, it is said that because this method describes or explains the problems that exist by providing answers to the problems presented. Informant selection is done by a purposive sampling method. according to the research that has been done can be said that the impact of work culture improving the performance of employees in DISPARPORA South Coastal District has not had a good impact because there are still some problems that researchers encounter related to work culture, among others: lack of awareness of employees’ time to come and go home on time,employees often delay time in completing workers to impact the achievement of unstable performance, communication between employees has not been good so that the lack of cooperation in carrying out duties, and the lack of appreciation and strict sanction given to employees.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the coordination carried out by the Gayo Lues Regency government in overcoming cannabis cultivation, and also how the obstacles that occur when implementing coordination in tackling cannabis cultivation both between one agency and another as well as between agencies and the community and to find out the efforts made by the government. (BNNK, Polri, TNI) in tackling cannabis cultivation in Gayo Lues Regency. This research uses qualitative research using descriptive method which is carried out by means of purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and documentation studies, with informants of several employees at the Gayo Lues Regency National Narcotics Agency, Gayo Lues District Police, Gayo Lues District Military Command, community leaders and communities who live in areas prone to cannabis cultivation. The results of this research indicate that the collaboration formed by the BNN Gayo Lues Regency, the Police and the Kodim 0113 Gayo Lues has been carried out as much as possible but efforts are still needed to change the mindset of the community. The coordination carried out by the government is for preventive activities carried out by the District National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) Gayo Lues, while the Police and Kodim 0113 Gayo Lues are more concerned with law enforcement. The obstacles experienced by the government in overcoming cannabis cultivation are divided into 2 (two), namely internal constraints and external constraints.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. This study aims to analyze efforts to implement convergence of stunting prevention policies in the city of Padang. The data collection methods used were interviews and documentation. The data source was obtained through data and information on all OPDs in Padang City. The results of this study indicate that efforts to implement convergence of stunting prevention policies in the city of Padang have not been implemented according to the convergence stage. This is because first, efforts at the planning stage have not been implemented optimally because there is no Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) that has been made regarding stunting. Second, efforts at the implementation stage have not been carried out optimally because there is no task force in implementing stunting prevention actions. Third, efforts at the evaluation stage have not been implemented optimally because the evaluation has not been centralized and implemented based on the work program of each Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD).]]>

<![CDATA[This research was done in Health Office Padang City, Which purpose to discover about to performance of the Padang City Health Office and the inhibiting factors in monitoring the quality of drinking water in the Padang City. The study applies a qualitative method using purposive sampling. Prosess aggregation data colth pass through observation, interview, and study documentation, while technique for validity the data testing that using resource triangulation with data analysis such as a data collection, data reduction, data presentation along with pulling conclusions. The results of the research conducted was explain performance of the Health Office in Supervising the Quality of Drinking Water in the City of Padang is not optimal, because there are still obstacles such as: Lack of supervision and attention from the Health Office to the community regarding the quality of drinking water that is fit for consumption, there are still limited funds, materials and tools for examining water samples, Besides that, there are also limited human resources so that all work in a certain section is held by only one person. It can be concluded that the performance of the Health Office has not been maximal in monitoring the quality of drinking water in Padang City.]]>
