Abstract

The development of the IT world today has penetrated into all sectors of human life, one of which is the education sector. However, the implementation that occurs in the field has not been fully maximized, considering that there are still educational institutions that still seem half-hearted in implementing information technology. This happens due to various problems, such as lack of funds for IT development, IT infrastructure that is still minimal, especially for educational institutions located far from urban areas, human resources that are still lacking in skills and knowledge and various factors. Many efforts can be taken to improve this, one of which is as carried out in this study. The focus of this research is to develop an application by applying the ROC-SMARTER method so that it can be used by MTsN 2 Bireuen in determining the superior student cluster. From the implementation of the research using the ADDIE approach (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) it was found that the case of determining the cluster of superior students at MTsN 2 Bireuen could be solved effectively and efficiently where previously it was done using manual and traditional methods

Abstract

The increasingly widespread use of information technology has an impact on the efficiency of everyday human work. Conventional work models have been abandoned by many people today and switch to work models involving information technology devices, especially computers. One of the cases currently being faced by the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Bireuen Regency is that the distribution process of PNS and Honorary teachers to all madrasas in Bireuen Regency is hampered by the complexity of the problems being faced. The main problem is the difficulty of knowing the teacher needs for each madrasa in the district, because the madrasas are managed not only at the elementary school level, but also at the first and upper levels with a total of about 134 madrasas. This is certainly very difficult if the management of teacher distribution is done manually and conventionally by relying on written records. Therefore, in this study, the development of a madrasah teacher distribution information system in the Ministry of Religion of Bireuen Regency was carried out through the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model approach. The results achieved are that the RAD model is very suitable to be applied to the case of developing teacher distribution information systems because the RAD model involves users directly in the development process, making it easier for developers to map existing business processes. The RAD model also has an impact on the efficiency of application development time being relatively short with a high level of user satisfaction

Abstract

The increasing conversion of land to non-agricultural land, especially in Indonesia, has resulted in the development of many agricultural models that no longer depend on large tracts of land or agricultural land. The current hydroponic model is one of the modern technologies that is easy to develop without relying on agricultural land. This is because hydroponics is an agricultural model that does not use soil as a growing medium, but plants are only fed with nutrient fluids through plant roots. Hydroponic gardens generally use a parallon type of pipe installation to drain nutrients by using a pump as the irrigation method. In addition, hydroponic gardens are also required to check nutrient levels regularly at 560-840 ppm. This is because sometimes ppm of nutrients will affect hydroponic plants if the number is outside this range. The problem is that the garden manager is required to control the nutrient levels 2 times a day, in the morning and evening, which is certainly very inconvenient for the garden manager. Therefore, in this study, the development of hydroponic garden monitoring technology based on IoT technology that can provide reports on nutrient levels via smartphones. The results of the research conducted are that the application developed is able to control the condition of the hydroponic garden in real time. In addition, through the use of solar panel technology, hydroponic gardens are also able to supply electricity for their operations without having to rely on electricity supply from PLN

Abstract

The education sector is one of the sectors that apply computerized information technology the most. This certainly has an impact on the continuous development of computer technology both in terms of hardware and software. One of the cases in the field of education that involves computers is the selection of the best principal using the decision support method. Decision support method is a method that can be used to provide recommendations on alternatives that have been previously determined based on predetermined criteria. In this study, a decision support model was developed using a combination of two methods, namely the Entropy and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. The entropy method is used to calculate the entropy value and normalized entropy, while the SAW method is used to normalize and rank alternatives based on the existing criteria. The results obtained are that the use of these two methods is considered better than using only one method, both entropy and SAW

Abstract

The use of computer technology has penetrated into various fields in completing work. Work that requires high accuracy, is carried out repeatedly and requires fast processing time is no longer appropriate for humans to do using conventional methods. Computer involvement has become an obligation in completing the work. One of the cases that require computer involvement is the case of decision making in an organization or company, or in computer science terms it is often called a decision support system. Many decision support models have been developed to improve the model's performance in performing calculations. In this study, a decision support model was also developed to choose the chairman of OSIM MAN 7 Bireuen using the Weighted Product (WP) method through a fuzzy logic approach as the initial weighting of criteria and alternatives. The results obtained are the calculation of the WP model more optimally with the help of weighting through a fuzzy logic approach. The final result of this research is the existence of a computerized system that is able to calculate alternative recommendations for the chairman of OSIM MAN 7 Bireuen, totaling 12 alternatives with 4 criteria

Abstract

The use of information technology, especially computer network-based applications, is currently increasingly widespread. This is indicated by the number of educational institutions that have begun to apply this technology to solve various problems faced. One of the educational institutions currently committed to implementing information technology is the Almuslim Integrated Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to develop an information system for the registration of prospective new students at the Almuslim Integrated Islamic Boarding School based on a responsive website using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. This method is used to achieve the ultimate goal of system development quickly and effectively. Development Based on the system implemented, this method is able to accommodate the system development process quickly with a focus on the process of writing program code. The results obtained are a responsive website-based information system for registration of prospective new students which was developed in a short time. This result is different from the development of the previous system using the waterfall model

Abstract

This paper focuses on designing and usability analysis of Aceh Halal Recipe based on android operating system. The research aims to support Aceh Government in establishing Aceh as Halal Tourism Destination in Indonesia.  The Halal Tourism is one of main factors in attracting people around the world to come and visit Aceh. Therefore, it is required some supportive components and infrastructures in maintain Aceh being model for world halal tourism destination. The mobile application takes an important role in fulfilling the need of mobile generation. The application is designed to assist the people to find out Halal Food in Aceh through mobile platform. The application provides a number of information regarding Aceh foods for tourists or visitors. The researcher analyzes the human-computer interaction of Aceh halal recipe application in terms of the usability and efficiency. The application is used by people in different ages, backgrounds, and purposes. The method of gathering requirement is done to gather user experience from the defined users using qualitative approach. The methods are structured interview and scenario. The data that is collected then is analyzed before building the low fidelity prototype. Usability testing was done in two cycles using walkthrough method and then some further enhancement is done to the mobile application

Abstract

Dhyana Pura University is a private university under the auspices of the Dhyana Pura Foundation in Badung Regency, Bali. Every study program under the auspices of a university is required to maintain quality assurance through the accreditation process. As for the Study Program accreditation instrument, the data, information and explanation of each requested criteria and parameter are formulated and presented by the study program in an instrument in the form of a guide for filling out study program performance documents (Book IIIA) and a guide for preparing a Self Evaluation Report (LED) or Self Evaluation Report. (SER) (Book IIIB). Each study program at Dhyana Pura University also does not escape efforts to obtain good accreditation status which is carried out in a certain period. The problem that often arises is that data and information related to Study Program Accreditation Instruments are not well organized. If there is no data center (data source) that can be managed periodically, then the recording will occur repeatedly, even though the previous information is very useful in the preparation of the next accreditation form. Therefore, we need an information system that can manage Document Requirements related to Study Program Accreditation. This information system will assist Study Program Management Units and Study Programs in managing study program performance documents and self-evaluation reports according to the Guidelines for Filling Out Performance Documents and Study Program Accreditation Self Evaluation Reports. The information system will speed up the process of accreditation so that the results will be more accurate and save budget, time and costs

Abstract

The impact of overflowing water in this ditch is the emergence of many diseases in the community and of course activities will be hampered. Because the possibility of flooding caused by overflow in the ditch, it is hoped that there will be a system that can reduce or even prevent flooding in areas that are prone to flooding due to overflowing sewers. As is the case with the problem at one location in Petak Kelod Village, precisely in Banjar Madangan Kaja, which experienced a problem in the gutter that almost every heavy rain came, causing the sewer to be clogged due to several factors such as: the size of the ditch is not the same which causes the water flow to become blocked, then the garbage in the gutter also causes the flowing water to become clogged. To overcome this, we need a system that can drain the blocked water flow by flowing it towards a larger ditch so as to make the clogged sewer smoother. The systems used to support this research are Arduino Uno, NodeMCU ESP8266, Ultrasonic Sensors, LEDs, and Stepper Motors, where the system will send the water level status via telegram and open the door automatically if the water level threshold is reached to be channeled to the backup channel so that the water is divided into two with the same volume and causes the waterway to return to normal. In the Esp8266 NodeMCU Connection Testing test, 100% success was obtained with an error of 6.934% in ultrasonic sensor testing, overall system performance was measured and 100% success was obtained

Abstract

The presence of information technology and its various products has made it easier for humans to access various information, including knowledge. The rapid advancement of technology makes access to this information simple and quick. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning model shifted from traditional face-to-face learning to an online learning model. The change in the learning model serves as the backdrop for the development of learning media in this study, with the goal of creating interesting interactive learning multimedia. The method used in this research is Research and Development, as well as the Ivers and Barron method, which uses four stages to develop an interactive learning knowledge of vegetative plant growth processes, namely Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate. The study's findings include the use of interactive learning media learning media about the process of vegetative growth that is multimedia-based, complete with animations created with Adobe Flash tools, and that can be run on devices that support Adobe Flash Player. According to the test results, this application can run well on devices running the Windows operating system by running files with an.exe extension obtained during the compilation process of the entire multimedia development project file for interactive vegetative plant development
