Tulisan Ilmiah Pariwisata (TULIP) is a Journal published by Tourism Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo Tulisan Ilmiah Pariwisata (TULIP), with E-ISSN 2720-9873 (Online) is a Peer-reviewed journal published twice in June and December by Tourism Department, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Tulip aims to disseminate and provide information to the parties concerned in the study of Tourism. Tulisan Ilmiah Pariwisata (TULIP) is a scientific journal in the field of tourism studies. The manuscript can be a research paper, review articles, as well as conceptual, technical, and methodological papers on all aspects, includes research findings, experimental design, analysis, and recent application in tour and travel studies. The scope of these areas includes tourism planning, geography, tourism management, destination, traveling, environment, economics, gastronomic, heritage, and culture. Tulisan Ilmiah Pariwisata (TULIP) has been reexamined by peer victims. Unacceptable in this regard will be the right of the Editorial Board based on the words of colleagues

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Potensi Kebun Jeruk Wonosari Kabupaten Boalemo. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan November hingga Desember 2021 di Kebun Jeruk Wonosari Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Boalemo. Potensi Kebun Jeruk Wonosari Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Boalemo adalah penelitian yang menggunakan teknik analisis data dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dengan berpatokan pada komponen pariwisata yaitu Atraksi wisata, Amenitas, Aksesbilitas, dan Anciliary. Penelitiian ini sudah menjawab rumusan masalah yang sudah didapati dari hasil observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Kebun Jeruk memilliki potensi untuk dijadikan sebagai Agrowisata karena dilihat dari segi sumber daya alam dan lingkungan, Kebun Jeruk adalah satu satunya Kebun Jeruk yang memiliki lahan seluas 4 hektar dan memiliki 3.000 pohon jeruk di Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Boalemo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cultural potential of the Toraja tribe as a tourist attraction in Tana Toraja and North Toraja districts. With the research method using the type of data used by the author is qualitative data, namely a study aimed at describing and analyzing phenomena, events, activities, social, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually and in groups. In this study, the data obtained was based on the source, namely Primary Data. This data was obtained while the researcher was making observations in Tana Toraja and North Toraja Regencies. The data obtained in the form of images, facilities and files. Then Secondary Data Is data obtained from the source indirectly but has been collected by other parties and has been processed, in the form of archives, books, reports, and several documents. With data collection techniques, namely observation and literature study and documentation so that data analysis is carried out using descriptive qualitative. And the results of the research show that basically there are so many Toraja ethnic cultures which are very unique and still traditional which should be used as a tourist attraction and become a potential big event so as to advance Toraja society and at the same time introduce one of the thick cultures that is still very original and unique in the world of tourism. tribe living in the mountains of the northern part of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Its population is estimated at around one million people, with 500,000 of them still living in Tana Toraja, North Toraja, and Mamasa districts. Thus, the Toraja tribe and culture have the potential to become a sustainable tourist attraction for the world.

Abstract

This study examines the community empowerment strategy in the development of the Catur Tourism Village. This study aims to determine the form of community participation and empowerment, the supporting and inhibiting factors for the development of Tourism Villages and to formulate strategies to empower the community in efforts to develop Catur Tourism Village. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation studies. The selection of informants was done through purposive sampling. The results of interviews and observations were analyzed by qualitative descriptive and the results of the IFAS and EFAS questionnaires were analyzed using the Internal External (IE) matrix, SWOT analysis using the theory of Participation and Community Based Tourism. The form of community participation in the development of the Catur Tourism Village is bottom-up, namely the participation by the community is genuine from the community itself. The community actively participates in empowerment activities in the form of training and assistance from government institutions, academia and the private sector. The main supporting factor of Catur Tourism Village is the potential of the agricultural sector while the main inhibiting factor is the division of community roles that have not been maximized in the development of Tourism Villages. The strategies formulated in the effort to empower the community include integration, market penetration, market development, product development and governance improvement as well as community consolidation efforts.

Abstract

Research on the development conditions of the Pegawi tourism Village base on the TALC (Tourism Area Life Cycle) analysis theory is descriptive qualitative study. The research location was determined purposively in Pelangas village, with the consideration that the Pelangas village was the winner number 3 of competition tourism village Bangka Belitung Island. The purpose of this study was the investigage the process of empowering Pegawi tourism village and indetify the development based on theory TALC. The results showed that process of empowering Pelangas Hilss went through 3 stages, namely the stage of awerness, breathing and power. These thre stage were passed with the resuly that most of the people of Pelangas Village join Pokdarwis and negative behaviour began to wear off. Keywords: Tourism Village.Community Empowerment, TALC

Abstract

The Kacirebonan Palace is the youngest palace in Cirebon City, which was founded in 1800. The location of the Kacirebonan Palace at the Cirebon City area, precisely on Jl. Pulasaren. The strategic location makes this palace a tourist attraction, including cultural tourism. In the government of a palace, some courtiers assist a sultan, including in the Kacirebonan Palace. This research is descriptive qualitative research that describes the roles and responsibilities of the courtier at the Kacirebonan Palace. The stages of research were carried out in stages,  through interview techniques, documentation, and literature review. The sample of this research were ten courtiers at the Kacirebonan Palace who had roles and responsibilities wholeheartedly for the creation of a harmonious government at the Kacirebonan Palace and full of a sense of responsibility for the mandate given by the Sultan of the Kacirebonan Palace. The results of this study explained that every courtier has a role and responsibility to preserve cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible.

Abstract

One of the potential tourist destinations in West Sumatra Province is Payakumbuh, Payakumbuh has a good positioning in preparing for the arrival of tourists from Muslim countries and regions because Islamic culture has been well ingrained and integrated with the philosophy of life of the traditional minang people, adat basandi sarak, sarak basandi kitabullah. In order for halal tourism in Payakumbuh to grow, supporting components such as sharia hotels need to be developed. This study aims to explore and describe the potential of sharia hotels in Payakumbuh, and propose development strategy by exploring this potential. This study uses qualitative method to define problems and present sharia hotel development strategies. With the repeal of Permenparekraf number 2 of 2014, there is lack of legislation, especially related to sharia hotel regulations, so an active role of the government is needed in socializing the concept of sharia hotels by providing training, education and technical guidance to local government officials, hoteliers, communities and related parties through workshops, professional education/training, focus group discussions and mock studies as well as required commitment from business actors in implementing the principles of sharia hotel management in accordance with the Fatwa of the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulama Council (DSN-MUI) Number 108/DSN-MU/X/2016, so that Muslim tourists receive protection from the halal aspects of products, services and hotel business management. With good quality and standardized sharia-based hotel services, a good hotel brand image will be created for Muslim tourists and will create a revisit intention.

Abstract

Sekarang ini, kebutuhan akan pariwisata sudah menjadi kebutuhan primer. Pergi ke tempat yang berbeda, merasakan pengalaman yang berbeda, makan makanan eksotis adalah salah satu hal yang diharapkan orang ketika mendengar kata pariwisata. Sayangnya, tidak semua tempat wisata menyediakan informasi yang dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh masyarakat yang berminat untuk mengunjunginya. Untuk mengakomodir pertumbuhan wisatawan yang cepat, digunakan beberapa strategi promosi, salah satunya dengan menggunakan brosur. Untuk memastikan bahwa brosur digunakan secara efektif, bahasa yang digunakan dalam brosur harus benar terutama dalam brosur dwibahasa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahasa yang digunakan dalam brosur pariwisata dwibahasa yang digunakan sebagai alat promosi oleh Dinas Pemuda Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui isi brosur yang terdiri dari beberapa objek wisata di Kabupaten Gorontalo seperti; Menara Pakaya, Pantai Talua’a, Bantayo Poboide, Festival Budaya Gorontalo, Museum Iluta, Resor Pentadio, Desa Wisata Religi Bubohu, Diving Center Pantai Itoduti, dan sebagainya. Kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan metode error translation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 4 macam kesalahan yang terdapat pada brosur wisata bilingual yang diterbitkan oleh Disporapar Kabupaten Gorontalo yaitu kesalahan penghilangan, kesalahan penambahan, kesalahan pembentukan dan kesalahan penempatan. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan teori appraisal disarankan untuk meningkatkan kualitas terjemahan pada brosur pariwisata dwibahasa di Kabupaten Gorontalo yang selanjutnya akan berdampak pada peningkatan wisatawan mancanegara yang berkunjung ke Gorontalo. Kata Kunci : Brosur, Terjemahan, Teori Appraisal

Abstract

Sektor pariwisata menjadi penentu dalam mendorong pembangunan ekonomi. olehnya sektor pariwisata dinilai sebagai suatu indikator penting dalam menentukan majunya suatu daerah. Penerapan sapta pesona menjadi solusi untuk mewujudkan pariwisata berkelanjutan guna mendorong pembangunan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji teori-teori sapta pesona dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata, dengan harapan sapta pesona benar-benar dipahami dan diimplementasikan. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan sumber data adalah hasil-hail penelitian berupa artikel jurnal ilmiah serta buku-buku referensi yang berkaitan denga tema peneitian. Hasil kajian menemukan bahwa sapta pesona telah diatur dalam Keputusan Mentri Pariwisata Pos dan Telekomunikasi nomor KM.5/UM.209/MPPT-89 tentang pedoman penyelengaraan sapta pesona, juga diatur peraturan Menteri Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Nomor. PM.04/UM.001/MKP/2008. Sapta Pesona atau tujuh pesona terdiri dari tujuh unsur yaitu aman, tertib, bersih, sejuk, indah, ramah, dan kenangan. Ketuju unsur tersebut harus diwujudkan agar pariwisata bisa berkembang.
