Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of work motivation and professional competence in improving the performance of Vocational High School teachers in Soppeng Regency, as well as which variables are most dominant in influencing the improvement of teacher performance. Researchers took a sample of 72 teachers from five vocational schools in Soppeng Regency with the sampling technique, namely random sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software. The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, meaning that if the work motivation is higher, the teacher's performance will also increase. In addition, professional competence also has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, so that if professional competence is getting better, teacher performance will also increase. Researchers also found that work motivation is the most dominant variable affecting the improvement of teacher performance in schools. Keywords: Work Motivation, Professional Competence, Teacher Performance  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan motivasi kerja dan kompetensi profesional dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kabupaten Soppeng, serta variabel manakah yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja guru. Peneliti mengambil sampel sebanyak 72 orang guru yang berasal dari lima SMK di Kabupaten Soppeng dengan teknik penentuan sampel yaitu dengan random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda dengan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, artinya jika motivasi kerja semakin tinggi maka kinerja guru juga akan semakin meningkat. Disamping itu, kompetensi profesional juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, sehingga apabila kompetensi profesional semakin baik maka kinerja guru juga akan mengalami peningkatan. Peneliti juga menemukan bahwa motivasi kerja merupakan variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja guru di sekolah. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Kerja, Kompetensi Profesional, Kinerja Guru

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan RPP model Discovery Learning tema Daerah Tempat Tinggalku pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kliwonan yang meliputi: (1) mengetahui kelayakan RPP; (2) mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran; (3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pengembangan RPP. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research & Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Four D) yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas IV SD Negeri Kliwonan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan kelayakan dengan hasil validasi ahli (RPP dan materi) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,28 dengan kriteria valid. Hasil validasi (praktisi) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,68 dengan kriteri sangat valid dan RPP yang dibuat efektif berdasarkan hasil tes hasil belajar siswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata 84,2 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 87,7% dengan kriteria sangat efektif. Hasil pengamatan pengelolaan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,64 dengan kriteria terlaksana seluruhnya. Hasil lembar angket respon siswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata dengan persentase sebesar 94,4% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba produk yang dilaksanakan, RPP model discovery learning tema Daerah Tempat Tinggalku pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kliwonan telah memenuhi kelayakan (kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif) dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran serta respon siswa yang mencapai kriteria yang sangat baik. This study aims to develop lesson plan with discovery learning models with the theme “The Area Where I Live” in the fourth-grade students of Kliwonan Elementary School which includes: (1) Knowing the feasibility of the the lesson plan. (2) Knowing the implementation of learning. (3) Knowing the students' responses to the development of the lesson plan. The type of research used is Research & Development (R&D) with the 4D (Four D) model which consists of four stages, including: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri Kliwonan. Based on the results of data analysis obtained in this study shows the feasibility of expert validation results (lesson plan and material) obtained an average value of 3.28 with valid criteria. The results of the validation (practitioners) obtained an average value of 3.68 with very valid criteria and lesson plans made effective based on the results of student learning outcomes obtained an average value of 84.2 with a percentage of completeness of 87.7% with very effective criteria. The results of the observation of the implementation of learning management obtained an average value of 3.64 with the criteria being implemented entirely. The results of the student response questionnaire sheet obtained an average value of 94.4% with very practical criteria. Based on the results of the product trials carried out, the lesson plan with discovery learning model has met the eligibility (valid, practical, and effective criteria) and the implementation of learning and student responses have achieved very good criteria.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan: 1) meningkatkan kemampuan kerjasama, 2) meningkatkan hasil belajar, 3) meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian kelas IV terdiri dari 10 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa pedoman observasi, angket, pretest, posttest, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu wawancara, observasi, angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian, 1) kerjasama siswa 80,50 (Tinggi). 2) Hasil belajar 90% (Tinggi). 3) Proses pembelajaran sebelum siklus I masih monoton. Siklus I dan II meningkat sesuai dengan langkah-langkah Problem Based Learning, a) Orientasi siswa terhadap masalah, b) Mengorganisasikan siswa, c) Membimbing penyelidikan, d) Mengembangkan hasil karya, e) Analisis dan evaluasi. Terbukti dari skor yang diperoleh 3,8. Disimpulkan bahwa kerjasama dan hasil belajar dapat meningkat dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Matematika kelas IV MI tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Kata Kunci: Kerjasama, Hasil Belajar Siswa, PBL, Matematika Bangun Datar  Abstract: Objectives: 1) increase the ability to work together, 2) improve learning outcomes, 3) improve the quality of learning. Is a classroom action research. Class IV research subjects consisted of 10 students. The data collection instruments were observation guidelines, questionnaires, pretest, posttest, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are interviews, observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The results of the study, 1) student cooperation 80.50 (High). 2) Learning outcomes 90% (High). 3) The learning process before the first cycle is still monotonous. Cycles I and II increase according to the steps of Problem Based Learning, a) Student orientation to problems, b) Organizing students, c) Guiding investigations, d) Developing work results, e) Analysis and evaluation. Evidenced by the score obtained 3.8. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh bahan ajar ekologi berbasis pendekatan STEM terhadap pembelajaran Abad-21. Metode penelitian ini adalah meta-analisis dengan menelaah sumber data yang berasal dari jurnal nasional atau internasional terbitan empat tahun terakhir (2016-2020). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa studi meta-analisis berpengaruh pada bahan ajar ekologi berdasarkan pendekatan STEM berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan, jenis media yang digunakan, dan pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran ekologi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh bahan ajar ekologi berdasarkan pendekatan ilmiah memiliki harga rata-rata lebih tinggi di tingkat SMA dibandingkan dengan sekolah dasar dan menengah pertama. Harga ukuran efek rata-rata untuk tingkat pendidikan menengah atas, menengah pertama dan dasar adalah: 1,63; 1,56; dan 1,19 pada kategori tinggi. Sedangkan dari segi media pembelajaran akan lebih efektif jika diaplikasikan dalam modul, dibandingkan dengan media lain, rata-rata effect size modul, LKS/LKPD, dan bahan ajar masing-masing adalah: 2,05; 1,14; dan 0,62 pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan siswa, pengaruh harga rata-rata terhadap effect size proses sains, hasil belajar, berpikir kritis, dan pemecahan masalah adalah 1,32; 1,61; 2.32; dan 1.83 dengan kategori tinggi maka diikuti kompetensi siswa dengan memberikan pengaruh pada kategori sedang yaitu: 0,61. Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Pendekatan STEM, Ekologi Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of ecology teaching materials based on the STEM approach on 21st-century learning. This research method is a meta-analysis by examining data sources from national or international journals published in the last four years (2016-2020). The results showed that the meta-analysis study affected ecology teaching materials based on the STEM approach based on the level of education, the type of media used, and the STEM approach in ecological learning. The research findings showed that the effect size of ecological teaching materialbased on scientific approach has a higher average prize at senior secondary level compared to primary and junior secondary. The average effect size prices for senior secondary, junior secondary, and primary education levels were: 1.63; 1.56; and 1.19 in the high category. Meanwhile, in terms of learning media, it will be more effective if applied in modules, compared to other media, the average effect size of the module, student worksheet, and teaching materials respectively are: 2.05; 1.14; and 0.62 in the high category. Based on students' cognitive learning outcomes and skills, the effect of the average price on the effect size of the science process, learning outcomes, critical thinking, and problem-solving was 1.32; 1.61; 2.32; and 1.83 with the high category, followed by student competence by giving influence to the medium category, namely: 0.61. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to use WhatsApp group to Indonesian learning in VIII class students at UPT SMP Negeri 3 Ponggok. This research used qualitative approach because it uses data in the form of words. At the same time, this research used experimental type because it is testing something. The research subjects were from VIII-D class students, and the object was Indonesian learning through WhatsApp group. The data collection techniques were observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Comparative analysis will be processed after the data is obtained. In addition, the analysis was also carried out with Miles and Huberman's technique. Miles and Huberman's technique has several stages; data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research resulted the use of WhatsApp group was more interactive and fun than another method that has been implemented before. Therefore it is increasing student learning outcomes. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model Talking Stick dan peningkatan hasil belajar pada materi pola irama kelas III SDN I Baledono. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan pada semester I tahun ajaran 2020/ 2021 dengan menggunakan dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 15 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan  model Talking Stick dapat meingkatkan hasil belajar pada materi pola irama. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan data yang diperoleh melalui tes. Perolehan nilai pada tahap pra siklus yaitu 73 naik menjadi 83,33 pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 86,67 pada siklus II. Persentase Ketuntasan pada pra siklus yaitu 40% menjadi 73,33% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 86,67% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan data tersebut bahwa ketercapaian hasil belajar yang diperoleh dengan persentase 86,67% melebihi indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditentukan peneliti yaitu 80%. This study aims to determine the application of the Talking Stick model and the improvement of learning outcomes in the material of the rhythm pattern of class III Elementary School I Baledono. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in the first semester of the 2020/ 2021 academic year using two cycles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects of this study were 15 grade students. Data collection techniques obtained through interviews, observation, tests and documentation. The results this study indicate that the application of the Talking Stick model can improve learning outcomes on rhythm pattern material. This is evidenced by the data obtained through tests. The acquisition value in the pre-cycle stage, as 73, increased to 83,33 in the first cycle and increased to 86,67 in the second cycle. The percentage completeness in the pre-cycle, as 40% to 73,33% in the first cycle, increased to 86,67% in the second cycle. Based on these data, the achievement of learning outcomes obtained with a percentage of 86,67% exceeds the indicator of success that has been determined by the researcher, as 80%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui bagaimana partisipasi orang tua dalam mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran online pada siswa dan (2) mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan partisipasi yang orang tua berikan pada siswa kelas tinggi dan kelas rendah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Jumlah subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 60 orang tua siswa dari kelas I-VI SD Negeri 1 Seren. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling dengan tipe simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dengan menggunakan rumus persentase dan uji T. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi orang tua dalam mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran online pada siswa diberikan dalam bentuk orang tua sebagai: pendidik, pembimbing, motivator, dan fasilitator. Selanjutnya hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan partisipasi orang tua terhadap pembelajaran online di rumah ditinjau dari fase kelas di Sekolah Dasar. Rata-ratapersentase partisipasi orang tua terhadap pembelajaran online di kelas rendah yaitu 75,14% lebih besar dibandingkan rata-rata partisipasi orang tua terhadap pembelajaran online di kelas tinggi yaitu 61,85% sehingga partisipasi orang tua terhadap pembelajaran online di kelas rendah lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Partisipasi Orang Tua, Pembelajaran Online, Fase Kelas Di Sekolah Dasar Abstract: This study aims to (1) find out how parents' participation in supporting online learning activities for students and (2) find out whether there are differences in the participation that parents give high class and low class students. This research is a quantitative research with a survey method. The number of subjects in this study were 60 parents of students from class I-VI SD Negeri 1 Seren. The sampling technique in this study is probability sampling with the type of simple random sampling. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics using the percentage formula and the T test. The results of this study indicate that the participation of parents in supporting online learning activities for students is given in the form of parents as: educators, mentors, motivators, and facilitators. Furthermore, the results of the hypothesis test obtained the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there are differences in parental participation in online learning at home in terms of the class phase in elementary schools. The average percentage of parental participation in online learning in low classes is 75.14% greater than the average participation of parents in online learning in high classes, namely 61.85% so that parents' participation in online learning in low classes is better. Abstract

Learning Management System (LMS) is a common platform where students and teachers can interact digitally, most especially in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) institutions. However, it has been discovered over time that most of the distance learners with poor study habits lag behind in its utilization. The purpose of this study was to investigate the Perception of Learning Management System among Distance Learners’ in South-West, Nigeria. Emphasis was on gender and field of study using an adapted Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study employed a descriptive research method. Data were collected through the administration of a-validated researcher-adapted questionnaire. Descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviation were used to answer research questions one and two. Inferential statistics of t-test and ANOVA were used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The research findings indicated that there were significant differences between male and female distance learners in their: perceived usefulness of LMS (p=0.00); perceived ease of use of LMS (p=0.004); in favour of males; there was no significant difference among Sciences, Arts and Social Science distance learners on their perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of LMS. It was therefore recommended that training and support programs be established to ensure a sustainable use and prevent collapse of LMS in the institutions in respective of distance learners’ gender and field of study.

Abstract

This study centered on Edmodo as an online instructional delivery technique for sustaining teaching and learning activities in covid-19 era in public universities in North-Central, Nigeria. The study was guided by two objectives and two research questions and one hypothesis. This study adopted descriptive survey and quasi-experimental research designs. The sample of the study comprised 100 students in two universities (each for treatment and control groups) and 7008 lecturers drawn from three public universities in North-Central, Nigeria. Stratified and simple random sampling techniques were used for selecting universities and the sample of the study. First, stratified sampling was used to group both lecturers and students into two strata. Thereafter, simple random sampling was used to select the universities and sample of the study; using lottery method with replacement. 10% proportionate sample was used to select the lecturers. Curriculum Studies Achievement Test (C-SAT) and questionnaire were used as instruments for data gathering. Data collected were analyzed with simple percentage, mean and t-test statistical techniques. Finding showed that the level of awareness of university lecturers on Edmodo as a technological instructional delivery technique is very low or poor. It was also indicated that there is significant difference between the mean achievement scores of university students taught curriculum studies with Edmodo and their counterparts taught with lecture technique; as those in the treatment group performed better than those in control group. The study recommended that: school management, the government and ICT-related Non-governmental organizations should help in organizing workshops and seminars for lecturers in order to advance their knowledge and awareness on ICT usage especially Edmodo and others. Also, since the students who were taught with Edmodo significantly performed better than their counterparts in the control group who were taught with lecture method, lecturers should be encouraged to use Edmodo for teaching and learning.

Abstract

Peningkatan Pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia membuat perubahan kebijakan pendidikan. Menanggapi itu, pemerintah membuat kebijakan tentang kurikulum darurat sebagai bentuk konsep dasar yang dapat dijalankan pada saat kondisi tertentu. Konseptualisasi dasar pendidikan dengan kurikulum 2013 tidaklah bisa berjalan dengan baik, sehingga pemerintah mengambil keputusan bagi pendidikan yang terdampak Covid-19 dapat menerapkan kurikulum darurat. Pemerintah menekankan bahwa pendidikan di Indonesia harus tetap mementingkan tujuan utama yang terkandung dalam kurikulum. Dengan begitu penelitian ini melihat konsep pendidikan dengan M-Learning dari perspektif layanan konseling. Program penting bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah menjadi peran utama untuk mendapatkan evaluasi yang baik. Tujuan penelitan ini untuk mengevaluasi sistem pembelajaran M-Learning dengan memberikan layanan kepada peserta didik dengan membandingkan pembelajaran C-Learning. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode evaluasi dengan dasar penelitian kualitatif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem pembelajaran M-Learning inefisiensi dalam konsep pendidikan yang didasari pedoman kurikulum di Indonesia. The increase in the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has led to changes in education policy. In response to that, the government making a policy on the emergency curriculum as a form of the basic concept that can be implemented under certain conditions. The basic conceptualization of education with the 2013 curriculum could not work well, so the government decided for education affected by Covid-19 to apply an emergency curriculum. The government emphasizes that education in Indonesia must continue to prioritize the main objectives contained in the curriculum. Thus, this study looks at the concept of education with M-Learning from the perspective of counseling services. An important program of guidance and counseling in schools becomes the main role to get a good evaluation. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the M-Learning learning system by providing services to students by comparing C-Learning learning. This study using an evaluation method based on qualitative research. The evaluation results show that the M-Learning learning system is inefficient in the concept of education based on curriculum guidelines in Indonesia.
