Abstract

The Internal Quality Assurance System at SMP Darul Falah and SMP Negeri 02 Cililin has not been implemented optimally. school quality. The general objective of this study is to describe the implementation of school internal quality assurance in improving school quality and its specific objectives are to describe 1) quality mapping, 2) compilation of quality compliance plans, 3) implementation of quality compliance, 4) quality evaluation. 5) Determination of Quality Standards 6) Results of Quality Implementation 7) Obstacles in implementing SPMI. The implementation of SPMI itself according to Dirjendikdasmen (2016: 5) has the aim of ensuring that all elements, namely organization, policies, and processes related to educational units run by established standards to ensure the creation of a quality culture. This research procedure uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of this study, in general, are that schools have implemented the SPMI implementation in improving the quality of schools in particular, namely: (1) Mapping, by carrying out school self-evaluation and school report cards. (2) Planning, schools carry out planning by the planning reference and format. (3) Implementation, the school has implemented SPMI starting at the initial stage, the core stage, and the final stage. (4) The school has carried out the SPMI evaluation by the monev team for each activity. (5) The school has developed a quality strategy for SPMI by the team using the formulation format, (6) The school has shown optimal learning outcomes through the application of SPMI with the satisfaction of various parties, (7) The school has resolved every problem with the right solution application of SPMI. The implementation of SPMI in schools is very helpful in improving the quality of the school, both academically and non-academically.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the implementation of an integrated curriculum based on multiple intelligences at the Riyadlul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, Mojokerto. This article uses a qualitative approach, in which this research was conducted at the Riyadlul Jannah Islamic boarding school, Mojokerto. Meanwhile, as an informant to find out what the researchers studied were the management coordinator, the student coordinator and the teachers. The data collection techniques in this study are in-depth interviews, observations or observations of educational activities, and documentation. And for the data validity technique, which includes source triangulation and data triangulation techniques. The results of this article are, namely: the history of the Riyadlul Jannah Islamic boarding school in Mojokerto, synchronization or integration between general education and Islamic boarding school education to support each other for a complete education, starting from the planning of an integrated curriculum which includes planning superior education programs and suggestions for infrastructure in the implementation of the practice. in-depth, integrated curriculum implementers in implementing each program or preparing natural resources, and integrated curriculum supervision which is carried out to become a benchmark in the achievement of students who are diverse or have multiple intelligences, and then can make development policies in future planning.

Abstract

The goal of this paper is to discover the obstacles that prohibit Islamic educational institutions from improving the quality of their human resources and how to overcome them. Data was gathered and analyzed from a variety of sources, including novels and scholarly papers. This qualitative approach was carried out using descriptive and argumentative analysis. The study's findings show that improving the quality of human resources in Islamic educational institutions includes developing and improving the evaluation system, improving educational facilities, developing and procuring teaching materials, and training teachers and education personnel in order to achieve the government's goals, vision, and mission. Following up on the findings of this study, one of the issues that Islamic educational institutions must address is the production of dedicated and committed people resources who comprehend science and technology. To address these demands, Islamic educational institutions must refresh their roles in order to play an ideal role in attaining academic excellence, industrial relevance, new knowledge contribution, and empowerment.

Abstract

This article aims to describe how participatory leadership styles are applied and contribute substantially to the effectiveness of boarding school management. Research is done using survey data sets. Research is of a descriptive qualitative type. The research took Al-Mujaddid integrated boarding school locus of Sabang-Aceh city. Our analysis shows that participatory leadership becomes a fundamental base in the implementation of the boarding school education system. The effectiveness of participatory leadership styles refers to some aspects, namely (1) decision-making processes; (2) organizational conflict-handling processes; and (3) communication strategies in shaping a positive boarding culture. Research implications for boarding school managers in order to perform variative professional development in all types of leadership. Expectations to participatory leadership style can affect teachers' participation in teaching, mentoring, peer observation, and coaching compared to other types of professional development. The paper proposed a participatory leadership style in the Boarding Cottage, as well as other Islamic education systems that have characteristic similarities in the organization of boarding school education. Recommendations for educational practitioners for ideal leadership in boarding school.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe a superior marketing management strategy because competition in the field of education is getting tougher. This type of research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Instruments in the form of a list of questions and observation sheets. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, coding, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that a superior marketing management strategy is evidenced by careful planning, implementation of a structured program in accordance with organizational performance that is competent, and supervision that is more directed towards institutional improvement. This educational institution has a good and quality image in the eyes of the community, it will have a great opportunity to acquire students. Arrruhul Jadid Islamic Junior High School has a strategy for implementing the marketing of educational services both online and offline, this strategy helps achieve the goals of the school institution and supports the implementation of the school's mission. That this superior strategy contributes to Islamic institutions’ order to develop following the rapid world of education.

Abstract

Good archive management is very important in providing information services so as not to hinder operational activities in madrasas. The purpose of this study is to explain archive management in supporting information services in the administrative section at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Gresik. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research. The research site is at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Gresik. The informants of this research are administrative staff. The results obtained from the study explain that the management of archives at Madrasah Aliyah 1 Gresik which is under the administrative division has been carried out well in supporting information services at the madrasa through several stages: 1) Creating archives through incoming and outgoing letters; 2) The distribution of archives is carried out through the procedures written in the standard operating procedures for distributing letters in madrasas; 3) Archive storage is done by numbering system; 4) Use of archives through retrieval and borrowing of records; 5) Archive maintenance is carried out regularly every two months; 6) Shrinkage of archives is only carried out by transferring archives to the warehouse. However, there are obstacles in its management, namely the absence of archivists, fewer storage cupboards, and no training in archive management. While the supporters are adequate storage warehouse and administrative staff who are painstaking in managing archives.

Abstract

The role of the principal as a leader must be distinct from the existing leadership style. The leadership style of a top school influences teachers' good and bad performance in the school institution where they teach. The purpose of this article is to find out: (1) The leadership style of the principal of SDN 1 Munung. (2) Teacher Performance at SDN 1 Munung. This research uses a qualitative approach with the case study method, with a single case study type. Researchers used data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and concluding the data that has been presented and reduced in guaranteeing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques and sources. The results of the study concluded that the leadership of the principal of SD Negeri Munung uses two leadership styles, namely the authoritarian leadership style, in disciplining teachers in daily attendance and completing administration. In comparison, in the following leadership style, namely the democratic leadership style, the principal gives freedom for teachers to develop their abilities in various activities. Subsequent data found that the teacher's performance at SD Negeri Munung was beyond doubt because administrative completion was always early, complete and correct, so SD Negeri Munung was the only Impact school in Jatikalen that received the BOS Performance award.

Abstract

This study aims to present or find a description of the principal's role in improving teachers' professionalism at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 03 Kepahiang. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was obtained and collected through interviews and observations. The data analysis technique used to obtain valid data uses data reduction (summarizing), data presentation (a collection of information), and concluding (whole description). The conclusion obtained from this research is that the principal's role in improving teachers' professionalism at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 03 Kepahiang has a role as a manager, educator, motivator, and supervisor. Efforts made by school principals are to provide coaching and training such as professional teacher training (TPT), as well as assigning tasks according to expertise in their respective fields. The principal's efforts in improving teachers' professionalism are carried out to realize the goals, vision, and mission of education. The principal's role in increasing teacher professionalism uses participatory and situational leadership styles. Teachers can develop their abilities according to their respective competencies without being limited; there is the provision of coaching and training that will be followed by teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 03 Kepahiang such as teacher

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the management of curriculum development in MAN Padang Lawas Utara. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation techniques to obtain valid data about curriculum development management at MAN Padang Lawas Utara. Based on the results of the study, it shows that 1) The planning of curriculum development at MAN Padang Lawas Utara is quite good, which includes: the background of the preparation of curriculum development based on the needs and feasibility of the madrasah, reviewing the vision, mission and goals of education, formulation of curriculum content, projects that need to be done, design strategies in learning, design guidance strategies in dealing with problems, design assessment strategies to determine the level of success that has been achieved after implementing curriculum development, 2) Organizing curriculum development management at MAN Padang Lawas Utara is quite good, because it is carried out regularly and planned. Conducted by a curriculum development team formed by the principal. So that it makes it easier to make curriculum and get effective and efficient results, 3) The implementation of curriculum development at MAN Padang Lawas Utara is going well, according to the agenda that has been prepared by the curriculum development team, namely determining the curriculum structure to support competency standards, 4) Evaluation of development North Padang Lawas MAN curriculum is quite good, it can be seen with monitoring and assessment to determine the implementation of curriculum development by the principal and the supervisory team. Supervision is carried out starting from planning, organizing to implementing curriculum development internally and externally. as teacher professional education training (TPT), as well as collaboration between teachers and students.

Abstract

Education as an investment in the future has an important role in building the nation. The goal is an ideal to be achieved by implementing an activity. No activity is programmed without a goal because it is something that has no certainty in determining which direction the activity will be carried out. Globally the purpose of learning is a change in a person for the better. The concept of independent learning is very different from the existing curriculum used by formal education in Indonesia. This new educational concept considers students' individual cognitive abilities and uniqueness. The method used is the method of literature. Content analysis is used to analyze research data. With the independent learning program, it is hoped that the class atmosphere will be more fun and happy. This certainly affects the quality of learning better. A pleasant learning atmosphere can increase student enthusiasm for learning, and teachers and parents can also feel it.
