Abstract

One of the state-owned companies in the electricity sectors, located in South Bandung with the main function of managing distribution installation assets (Transmission and Substation) and maintenance of distribution installation assets to maintain the continuity of efficient and reliable distribution of high voltage electrical energy. In substations, PMT is the most important component, coordination between PMT divisions must be paid more attention. One of the disturbances in PMT is the high value of contact resistance and it is not synchronous during the Open-Close process. The research was aimed to identify how much the value of contact resistance at each PMT, and how much loss of conductivity of PMT and also carried out simultaneous testing to observe the level of synchronization between phases. After various tests were carried out, by looking at the results of these tests, it could be concluded that the PMT 7A1 had no damage, and could still operate normally. Then, the purpose of maintaining high voltage electrical equipment is to ensure the continuity of electricity distribution and ensure reliability, and to extend the life of the equipment by reducing equipment damage.

Abstract

Electrical energy is included in the primary needs of humans in this era, where in this modern era, almost all equipment is electronic based so that the need for electrical energy is very large. In Indonesia, there is a company that is in charge and responsible for processing and distributing electricity to the public, namely PLN or more specifically the Substation. To distribute electricity at this substation, there are primary equipment that functions as a transmission regulator, one of which is a power breaker (PMT). PMT is one of the important assets in the reliability of the electricity system at the substation, so periodic testing and maintenance is very necessary. Testing and maintenance on PMT are very diverse from insulation resistance testing, simultaneous testing (Breaker Analyzer), SF6 gas characteristic testing, and PMT contact resistance testing. This contact resistance test is carried out to determine the resistance value of the PMT contact, from the resistance value obtained it can also be seen for the value of the power loss generated by the PMT when operating.

Abstract

Knowing the ability of students is something that is important to formulate exam questions correctly, namely questions with the appropriate level of difficulty. However, in general, exam questions are prepared with the assumption that students' abilities are the same, so the results obtained do not reflect the actual abilities of students. This study focuses on predicting the ability of grade 6 students in mathematics. The data was obtained from 400 exam questions with 8 materials done by 23 students. Students' ability categories are grouped into 3, namely high ability, medium ability, and low ability. The difficulty of the questions is grouped into difficult questions, medium questions, and easy questions based on the assessments of 5 different class teachers. Our research uses the linear regression method and successfully shows that there is a close relationship between students' abilities and the level of difficulty of the questions. The difficulty level of the questions contributed 63% to the students' abilities. The standard error of 0.04905 means that the regression model is the right model in determining students' abilities.

Abstract

In the boarding house the use of water for each person is different for each occupant of theboarding house. The increase in water use is not proportional to the increase in water capacity and theequalization of payments for each boarding house is different. Utilization of technology Internet ofThings (IoT) and the freechat application Telegram in the application to monitor water usageinformation for each boarding house occupant. In this study, a water monitoring device was made tomonitor information from two different platforms. The server can monitor water usage information forall residents of the boarding house. Telegram provides notification information when the water capacityof boarding houses is approaching empty from each device. Using Arduino and ESP8266 as controllersand wifi connection with the server. With this system, it is easier for the boarding house owner tomonitor the water usage of each boarding house occupant.

Abstract

The fire fighting robot is designed to automatically maneuver through a room where there are hotspots and is able to extinguish the fire. In order to complete the task of extinguishing fire the robot is also designed to use a fire sensor. The robot uses a flame sensor to detect the light generated by the fire source. The Ercomp fire fighting robot, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo uses a 28-bit flame sensor with a detection range of 360o. The robot is set using the KP and KD control system with the parameter values used are KP = 9 and KD = 10. In detecting hotspots, the robot must be fast when tracing hotspots. In this study, the application of PID control is expected to produce the best comparison value of PD, PI and PID values to be implemented on legged fire fighting robots. This study is to determine the value of the control tested using the trial and error method and PID tuner. The best results from the test are PID control with Kp = 90, Ki = 20 and Kd = 10, it can be seen from the response parameters that the system has no overshoot, a rise time of 0.59 seconds, and a settling time of 1.15 seconds.

Abstract

For the community, generators are an alternative if there is a power outage or if there is a large enough electricity demand. According to workers in the field of generator rental in Trenggalek, namely "db Genset" which has the address Ds. Gondang, Kec. Tugu, Kab. Trenggalek, there are 2 types of generators, namely open generators and silent generators, and most people choose silent generators because silent generators are specially designed to muffle engine noise so they don't cause noise, very suitable for use in active environments, but silent generators often experience temperature problems rise (Overheating) which is due to a closed engine and less smooth air circulation. Thus the cooling system on the generator set is needed to support the safety of the temperature on the silent generator so that it remains normal below 70°C which is important to minimize overheating problems in the silent generator, so that it can improve the performance of the generator to work for a long time without any problems. overheating. The design of the Temperature Control System in this Silent Genset Box uses Arduino Uno as a system controller and uses the Ds18b20 sensor, the engine temperature cooling process previously relied on radiator water and radiator fans, so the idea arose to add blower fans on both sides of the silent generator box, marked with a green temperature light indicator. being below 70°C indicates the temperature inside the box is normal, the blue light indicator indicates the temperature inside the box is in the 70°C to 95°C temperature range, fan 1 is on, the red light indicator indicates the temperature in the box is in the 95°C to 120°C temperature range, fans 1 and 2 are on, and the red light indicator indicates the temperature in the box is in the temperature range of 95°C to 120°C if the temperature reaches 120°C the generator engine will turn off indicating the temperature in the box maxsimal fan 1 and 2 remain on until the temperature decreases to 40°C, and every change in temperature will send a notification via SMS to the generator operator

Abstract

Hunger and Poverty are one of the major problems faced in Sub-Saharan Africa. To get rid of this problem in line with the aim of the sustainable development goals, there is the need to increase current production levels of food. This can be achieved by mechanizing farming systems and introducing technology to farming systems. This paper seeks to introduce an automation system that uses automated drip irrigation with a circulation system to efficiently use energy and avoid the amount of water wasted during farming activities to attempt to increase food production levels..
