Abstract

The Kanjuruhan Stadium incident involves a conflict between football supporters and law enforcement, resulting in various violations of human rights. This research aims to understand the implications of the event on human rights and highlight the issues that arise in the context of security and law enforcement. The study utilizes a descriptive-analytical approach by analyzing various sources of information, including media reports, official documents, and statistical data related to the Kanjuruhan Stadium incident. Firstly, this paper identifies the human rights violations that occurred during the event, such as excessive use of violence and arbitrary arrests. The findings of this research indicate serious violations of human rights during the Kanjuruhan Stadium incident, which contravene the fundamental principles of human rights, including the right to security and protection from inhumane treatment. This paper contributes to the understanding of the importance ofupholding human rights in the context of sporting events. The research provides policy recommendations for the government, law enforcement, and other relevant parties to ensure better protection of human rights inmanaging similar situations in the future. Similarly, this study encourages the public to enhance awareness of the importance of respecting human rights and participating in promoting human rights principles in the context of sports.

Abstract

Digitalization has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. Therefore, efforts to prevent radicalism need to be adapted into the context of digitalization of education to confront the existing challenges. This aims to review the importance of the digitalization of Pancasila education as a strategy toprevent radicalism in the era of globalization. Through the descriptive research method, the data was collected from various literature sources that are relevant to the topic. This case shows that the digitalization of Pancasila education can be an effective tool in the prevention of understanding of radicalism in the era of globalization. Digitization enables broader access to Pancasila education materials, facilitating interactions and collaboration between students, and enables the development of content that is relevant to social and cultural realities. In addition, the digitalization of Pancasila education can encourage students to develop critical and analytical thinking skills in dealing with widespread information in the digital space. With the use of proper technology, Pancasila education can teach critical values, pluralism, tolerance, and independence to think which is an important basis in preventing the understanding of radicalism. However, there are also challenges that need to be overcome in implementing the digitalization of Pancasila education. Adequate technological infrastructure is needed, training for educators, as well as effective monitoring and surveillance to prevent the spread of radical content in the digital room. Therefore, the digitalization of Pancasila education has the great potential in the prevention of understanding of radicalism in the era of globalization. By utilizing technology wisely, Pancasila education can become an important instrument in forming a generation that has a strongunderstanding of national values, tolerance, and unity in the face of the challenges of radicalism in the world that are increasingly connected digitally.

Abstract

The problem of student learning outcomes in Civics subjects on social diversity, culture, and customs which are low and the average value has not reached the KKM, is the basis for this research. Based on the results of observations made by researchers, one of the obstacles faced in learning Civics is an ineffective learning model. To overcome this, researchers used the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning approach toimprove Civics learning outcomes on the material of social diversity, culture, and customs in SD Plus Alfathonah Madlotilah, Bekasi Regency. The research was conducted in two cycles. Before carrying out the action, an initial test was held to find out the extent of knowledge possessed by students. The learning method uses the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach. The research subjects were third grade students of SD PLUS alfathonah Madlotilah, Bekasi Regency, consisting of 13 female students and 14 male students. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out in cycle I, the incompleteness is obtained 55.56% and changes to complete 44.44%, then in cycle II it increases to 100% or can be said to be perfect. So it can be concluded from this research by using the concept of Contextual Teaching and Learning the learning process has improved

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers in increasing Achievment Motivation through Civic education learning. The research method used is qualitative with a narrative descriptive approach. The subjects in thisstudy were civic education teachers and the learning model they used. The instruments used in this study were observation, interviews, interview drafts, focus group discussions and documentation. The result of this study is that there are two roles of teachers in increasing achievement motivation, namely teachers as motivators and teachers as facilitators.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model through the jigsaw method on critical thinking skills and increasing student achievement in Civics learning at SMAN 4 Madiun City. The data used is primary data in the form of lesson plans; tests of critical thinking skills and increased student achievement. The population of this study were all students of class XI.2 as a class with the jigsaw cooperative learning model and X1.4 as the ordinary learning mode class, which totaled 60 students. The sampling technique used random sampling technique. Data analysis technique using independent sample t test. Data is processed using IBM SPSS Statistics v.18. The results showed that the cooperative learning model through the jigsaw method had an effect on critical thinking skills in Civics learning at SMAN 4 Madiun City, and the cooperative learning model through the jigsaw method had an effect on increasing student achievement in Civics learning at SMAN 4 Madiun City.

Abstract

This research applies a qualitative research approach, aiming to delve into the phenomena experienced by subjects and generate descriptive information in the form of written or spoken words, pertaining to individuals and behaviors under observation. Therefore, this study can be classified as qualitative descriptive research. Pondok Pesantren Raudhatut Tholibin (ROBIN) in Sumenep integrates religious and scientific knowledge within its curriculum, while instilling values of tolerance, moderation, and balance in practicing faith. This Islamic boarding school also collaborates with other parties such as the community and other educational institutions,in order to expand its network and influence towards achieving peace and social harmony. Furthermore, this boarding school empowers its students to become agents of positive change in society by involving them in various social, humanitarian, and cultural activities. Through these strategies, the boarding school aims to anticipate and counteract the negative impacts of religious radicalism that could threaten the unity of the nation.

Abstract

The caliphate discourse promoted by several groups of Islamic fundamentalist movements is no longer able to fulfill the goals of government in Islam. Ibn Taimiyah finally promised an Islamic political theory which was expected to be able to cover the shortcomings and limitations of the caliphate theory by referring to the classical caliphate theory. Ibn Taimiyah's political theory is contained in one of his works entitled al-Siyasah al-Syar'iyah fi islah al-Ra'i wa al-Ra'iah (Politics Based on Sharia for the Improvement of Returners and Shepherds). The existence of the historical background of the Khulafa al-Rasyidin's caliphate is nothing more than an accident, not an example of political life. Even the life of the Prophet is not seen as a basis for government that needs to be adopted in a particular political system of government, it is nothing more than a sui generis institution, not as a basis for Islamic politics. Ibn Taimiyah's rejection of historical practice as the basis of political philosophy, then Ibn Taimiyah avoided the mistake of assessing existing political power as power that was legalized by the shadow of the caliph, as was found in the characteristics of previous political theories of thought..
