Abstract

In March 2020 the corona virus infected almost all countries in the world. The spread of this virus was declared a pandemic outbreak. New problems have arisen, ranging from economic, social to education problems. Simultaneously educational institutions are choosing online learning. This mini research aims to examine how to improve teacher competence during a pandemic, which is focused on the aspects of digitalization demands in the world of education. The review will focus on how the implementation of learning during the pandemic at Al-Ma'tuq Boarding School Sukabumi. The research method used in this research is qualitative research methods. The data collection technique is done through triangulation (combined), inductive / qualitative data analysis. Since the ministerial circular regarding learning during the pandemic was received, Al-Ma'tuq Boarding School immediately determined the strategy. Among them by hold training at the beginning of learning about technology, this proves that Al-Ma'tuq Boarding School continues to focus on developing competencies that teachers must have during this pandemic, including: (1) Competence in mastery of literacy and science and technology (2) Competence of classroom management skills (3) Communication and social competence. The existence of an online learning policy carried out by schools because of the covid outbreak, needs to be balanced with a deeper role for teachers. Teacher competence is demanded as a form of professionalism. However, it becomes a problem when the teacher lacks competence. So it is necessary to empower teachers by developing four main competencies that already exist to face today's online learning. With the development of competencies, it is expected to minimize existing problems, so that the learning process is better.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and examine the relationship between student self-confidence and learning outcomes using the distance learning system (PJJ) during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive with a correlation form. The population in this study were all students of the Islamic Education (KI) STAI Thawalib study program, Jakarta. The sample used was 21 students who took the Curriculum Development course later. Based on the results of the research obtained, it is concluded that there is a relationship between student self-confidence and the distance learning system (PJJ) and the learning outcomes of the Curriculum Development course during the Covid-19 period. The instrument in this study used the form of test questions, description of learning outcomes and the form of non-test questions on the self-confidence scale. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between self-confidence and student learning outcomes, with the influence of self-confidence by 75.7% on student learning outcomes while 24.3 influenced by factors outside of self-confidence.

Abstract

This article discusses the urgency of leadership with must-have skills and management capabilities in Islamic education. This article uses a qualitative descriptive analysis of the object of discussion by utilizing reference sources for related themes and using library research methods. This article argues that leadership is very much needed in Islamic educational institutions today, where the leadership in question must have visionary skills, personal risk, sensitivity, broad insight, charisma, communicative, exemplary, and not egotistical. Furthermore, with good management where management is meant is the art of completing projects, activities with an epic collaboration and understanding what you want to do and then doing it in an effective and efficient way. Therefore, this article offers idealistic leadership with good Islamic education management in shaping the golden generation in the future.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know how much effectiveness of online learning during the pandemic 19 for the students of SMK Mandalla Entrepreneur School Karawang District. The study used quantitative models with survey methods. The sample of respondents of this study are the students of every level randomly amounted to 73 students. The results of this study showed that 8 students or about 10.96% of respondens have not felt the benefits of online learning. Students' responses to online learning are also less enthusiastic, as seen from the data of about 37 students or 50.68% of students feeling bored. Then the desire of students, learning is carried out face-to-face directly with data showed about 65 students from 73 respondents or about 89.04%, about 5 students or 6.85% learning in a block system, namely one day of online learning and one day face-to-face learning, and 3 students or 4.11% who want online learning so it could be concluded that continuous online learning during the pandemicera is very ineffective.

Abstract

In an effort to reconstruct past events that occurred once in human life and analyze their influence on Islamic education, in this case the life of a character and his role in people's lives as well as knowing the resulting influence in the world of Islamic education. So this study uses a historical approach, historical methods and qualitative descriptive analysis of the object of discussion by utilizing reference sources on related themes and using library research methods. By using this approach, researchers can uncover historical facts about the role of Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX in the formation of the Scout Movement in 1960-1961 AD and the resulting influence in the world of Islamic education. This historical research and analysis is intended to make a systematic and objective reconstruction of the past, by collecting, evaluating, verifying and synthesizing evidence to support the facts in obtaining strong conclusions and analyzing the literature. Researchers explore and collect data related to the discussion of this research. The results of this study are: 1. Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX has a very important role in the formation and development of the scout movement so that he is trusted to serve as chairman of the Scout Movement Quarter and has been named the FATHER of Scouting because of his services and thoughts on the Scouting Movement. 2. The Scout Movement has a positive influence in the world of Islamic education, especially in the formation of morals
