Abstract

Education can be a measure of the progress and quality of life of a nation, so it is said that the progress of a nation and state can be achieved by one of the reforms in terms of education. In education, there are two terms, namely pedagogy and andragogy. Pedagogy is known as the education of children, while andragogy can be interpreted as the science and art of teaching adults. Children's education will take place in the form of assimilation, identification, and imitation; while adult education focuses on improving their lives, providing skills and abilities to solve problems, so what is identical here is brain training for adults. The difference between pedagogy and andragogy lies in the different assumptions about the personality of students, such as the concept of students, student experience, readiness to learn, orientation towards learning from their learning motivation. And from these assumptions, it can be distinguished in terms of the process which includes elements of atmosphere, planning, needs diagnosis, formulation, objectives, lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments.

The Indonesian government in collaboration with WHO had have guidelines to prevent malaria transmission through the distribution of mosquito nets (long-lasting insecticidal net), Indoor Residual Spray, use of repellents, and others. However, advances in malaria elimination measures had also been accompanied by rapidly growing resistance and changes in vector genetics. This study aimed to know the effectiveness of LSM for malaria elimination. There were 1,716 articles found and then excluded according to the restriction criteria, 8 articles were reviewed. Based on the 8 articles that had been obtained and analyzed, it was found that 1 article showed fully practised LSM and 7 articles had practised larviciding as representatives of the LSM program. Larval source management (LSM) can effectively reduce the number of Anopheles sp. mosquito larvae, whether used according to complete action or only one action. All articles stated that LSM was an effective program and can be used for malaria elimination in the future. Larval source management (LSM) was an effective program for malaria elimination.

Content validity test using Pearson product-moment and construct validity test using CFA. Concurrent test with RCMAS using Pearson correlation. Reliability test by calculating the value of Cronbach alpha. The result content validity test showed that all children's versions of SCARED items and parents' versions of SCARED had r counts above r tables. There was concern with the RCMAS and the SCARED children version concurrent with the parent version. Cronbach's alpha value of SCARED child version 0.901 and parent version 0.891.
