Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental support and school children's smoking behavior. This research method uses descriptive correlational research with a cross-sectional approach. The study's results based on class and age showed that 22 students, with a percentage of 73.3%, had supportive parental social support, and 16 students, with a rate of 53.3%, had terrible smoking behavior. The P value of parents' social support with smoking behavior is 0.207. In conclusion, it shows no relationship between parental consent and school children's smoking behavior. Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiences of mothers in caring for premature babies who have been treated in the intensive care unit. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that the knowledge of mothers about premature babies was on average the same, from definition to treatment, support received, and coping mechanisms. In conclusion, the results of interviews with informants obtained 6 (six) themes, namely the description of premature babies and their characteristics, causes of premature birth, the ability of mothers to care for premature babies, forms of maternal support, mother's self-coping while caring for premature babies and mother's reactions while caring for premature babies. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise technique on increasing oxygen saturation in asthma patients. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of Pre-Experimental One Group Pre-Test and post-test research with the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that administering the Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise technique can increase oxygen saturation in asthma patients before and after the intervention. The oxygen saturation value before being given the Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise technique showed that the frequency of oxygen saturation of respondents was in the range of 90%-94%, amounting to 38 people (67.9%) with the category of mild hypoxemia and in the field of 75%-89% amounting to 18 people (32.1%) with the type of moderate hypoxemia with an average value of 89.61%. The oxygen saturation value after being given the Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise technique showed that the frequency of oxygen saturation in the range of 95%-100% amounted to 49 people (87.5%) with the standard category and in the field of 90%-94% amounted to 7 people (12.5%) with the type of mild hypoxemia with an average value of 96.61%. It can be concluded that the Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise technique affects increasing oxygen saturation in asthma patients. Keywords: Asthma, Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise, Oxygen Saturation

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether counter-pressure massage reduces the intensity of labor pain in mothers who give birth in the first stage of the active phase of labor. This research method uses an experimental research type, a pre- and post-test design with a control group design. The research results showed that the average score on the pre-test pain scale reached 7 in both the intervention and control groups. Then, the average pain scale value in the post-test was 5.07 mg/dL in the intervention group and 6.67 mg/dL in the control group. Based on the Independent T-test, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average level of pain between the intervention group and the control group. In conclusion, Counter-pressure Massage can reduce pain by suppressing pain signals and increasing blood and oxygen flow to all tissues. Midwives need to increase their knowledge about pain relief during childbirth, significantly counter-pressure massage. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of warm compresses on Low Back Pain in pregnant women in Trimester III at the Bunda Sehat Clinic, Cijantung, Jakarta. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental with pre and post-test design with the control group. The research results show that the average Low Back Pain in Trimester III pregnant women before being given warm compresses was 6.1 (moderate pain), and after being given warm compresses was 2.9 (mild pain). There is an effect of warm compresses on Low Back Pain in pregnant women in the third trimester at the Bunda Sehat Clinic, Cijantung, Jakarta, with a p-value of 0.000. ConclusionkWarm compresses affect reducing Low Back Pain for third-trimester pregnant women at the Bunda Sehat Clinic, Cijantung, Jakarta. Keywords: Pregnancy, Warm Compresses, Low Back Pain

Abstract

This study aims to determine the determinants or risk factors for pregnancy complications in adolescents. This type of research is quantitative analytical research with a case-control approach. The results of univariate analysis show that most respondents married at the age of 16-19 years (92%), and the remainder at the age of 12-15 years lived in rural areas (62%) and with their parents. (70). %), have low education (65.3%), have poor economic conditions (56%), and have anemia status (60%). The most frequently experienced pregnancy problems were constant vomiting and not wanting to eat (39.3%), while the least experienced were bleeding at the beginning or end of pregnancy and yellow eyes/skin (1.3% each). There are two variables related to teenage pregnancy problems, namely anemia status and knowledge about pregnancy. The most influential variable is anemia (p=0.000, OR: 3.995 (1.952-8.174). Support from all parties is undoubtedly needed to prevent early marriage, which can result in teenage pregnancy. In conclusion, the impact of complications and deaths on women and children and the effect on future generations can be prevented. Keywords: Determinants, Teenage Pregnancy, Problems
