Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hypnobirthing pain management on the adaptability of maternal pain spontaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach to the design quasi-experimental design with treatment replications ( pretest posttest with control group. Research results showed the existence difference in pain adaptation in mothers who are given hypnobirthing pain management intervention is 1,00 (able to adapt). No differences in pain adaptation in women who were not given pain management interventions hipnobirthing ie -0.62 (not able to adapt). Bivariate results revealed the influence of hypnobirthing pain management on the adaptation ability of maternal pain that gave birth spontaneously (p=0.002). We conclude that there is an influence of hypnobirthing pain management on pain adaptability. It is expected that medical services are able to apply hypnobirthing pain management to maternity mothers, and expected to make standardized services procedures on hypnobirthing management for pain relaxations. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of brain Gymnastics and playing puzzles on improving the motor skills in preschool children in the work area of the Basuki Rahmad Health Center in Bengkulu. The Quantitative research design used the quasy experiment design, one group pre-post test equivalent without control design. The results of the univariate analysis with brain gymnastics and playing puzzles intervention showed the 15 respondents before doing brain gymnastics and puzzle, there were nine children (60%) experiencing motor skills deviations and after giving therapy ten children (66.7%) experienced standard motor skills. The bivariate results of the Wilcoxon test have a significant effect between before and after brain gymnastics and puzzle intervention with p-value = 0.001 on motor development at the preschool children. It can conclude that an increase in the average motor picture before and after brain gymnastics and playing puzzles interventions in the Basuki Rahmad Community Health Center in Bengkulu. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education about early breastfeeding initiation and bounding attachment on maternal readiness for the breastfeeding process at BPS Bunda Bukittinggi. This type of research uses the Pre-experiment method with the design of one group pretest and posttest. In this study with the mean value of the readiness of mothers to breastfeed before doing education was 57,33 which then increased to 63,80 and the value of p Value 0,000 (p <0.05), meaning that there is an effect of education about the initiation of early breastfeeding and bounding attachment to maternal readiness for the breastfeeding process in the BPS Bunda Bukittinggi in 2019. It was concluded that education about early breastfeeding initiation and bounding attachment can increase knowledge in readiness for breastfeeding in pregnant women. Abstract

This study aims to review the literature on educational interventions for the discharge of mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) patients in the Emergency Room (IGD). Database searches were performed based on PICO queries and keywords. using ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and PubMed for the period 2012-2019. Ten studies were reviewed. The findings revealed the contents of discharge information for mTBI patients including diagnosis, signs and symptoms, treatment and medication, pain management, home care, and ED return instructions. Four methods of discharge intervention are commonly used in the ED; written, spoken, animated and moving videos, and printed instructions measured over two time periods, either pre-discharge in the ED or follow-up 1-2 weeks post-discharge at home. In conclusion, combined teaching was more effective in terms of level of knowledge, understanding, and ED repeat visits. Keywords: Discharge education, Emergency, Minor Traumatic Brain Injury

Abstract

Anxiety is the most common psychiatric condition found throughout the world. Anxiety in pregnancy is an emotional reaction that occurs in pregnant women related to the concern of the mother with the welfare of herself and her fetus. Guided imagery is the development of mental functions that express oneself dynamically through a psychophysiological process involving all senses and bringing about changes in behavior, perception, or physiological responses with someone's guidance or through the media. This scientific case study aims to determine the application of nursing care to primigravida mothers in dealing with the labor process using guided imagery techniques. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, physical examination, and documentation study. This scientific paper shows that there is a decrease in the level of anxiety in the patient after doing the guided imagery technique for 3 meetings. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the intervention from journals related to nursing care in primigravida mothers who experience anxiety has been implemented well. The results of this scientific case study are expected to be implemented as a basis for developing nursing care management and assisting nurses to increase client’s satisfaction with caring provided. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the mother's level of awareness about the pathology of pneumonia and the duration of breastfeeding under five with the incidence of pneumonia in DR. M.A. Hospital Hanafiah. This research is a retrospective analytic descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. The results showed that mothers' awareness of pneumonia was lower by 71.8%, they breastfed their babies for less than six months (71.8%), and more than two-thirds of children under five (76.9%) were diagnosed with pneumonia. Furthermore, statistical analysis significantly correlated the mothers' awareness of pneumonia and the duration of breastfeeding they performed on their children with pneumonia. The conclusion is that the mother's understanding of pneumonia has a linear effect on the incidence of pneumonia in infants and toddlers. The duration of breastfeeding has a significant impact. We assume that non-exclusive breastfeeding in infants stimulates underweight and immunological disorders that accelerate the incidence of pneumonia. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of number puzzle intervention on increasing short memory in children with mental retardation in SDLBN 05 Bengkulu City. This study uses a quantitative approach using a Quasy Experiment design, one group pre-post test with a nonequivalent control group design. This study uses a digit forward questionnaire by remembering the numbers from front to back, the digit forward numbers are 9 digits. The results of the univariate analysis of the intervention of 10 samples 7 (30%) with a less short memory and 3 (30%) short memory samples are good and after being given number puzzle therapy, it is known that out of 10 samples 8 (80%) have a good memory and 2 (20%) with the less category. The paired test results showed that there was an effect of puzzle therapy on increasing short memory in SDLBN 05 Bengkulu City with a p-value of 0,000. In conclusion, there is an effect of number puzzle therapy intervention on increasing short memory of children with mental retardation in SDLBN 05 Bengkulu City.
