nterdisciplinary Social Studies (ISS) is an interdisciplinary publication of social studies and writing which publishes papers to international audiences of social researchers. ISS aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of social studies and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills are transmitted from one generation to another; and making methods and contents of evaluation and research in social, available to socialist and research workers. The journal encompasses a variety of topics, including education, management, cultural studies, law, social health, psychology, and geography, to economics belonging to the social context. Papers accepted: 1) Report evaluation and original research; 2) Literature review; and 3) An extensive book reviews section on social materials and equipment.

Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on many parties, this condition has penetrated the world of education, the central government to the regional level provides policies to dissolve all educational institutions. Aim: This study aims to determine the problems experienced by teachers during Covid-19 pandemic in which teachers must conduct online learning. Method: This research is a descriptive study using online survey method. The data was collected using online questionnaires to 64 respondents of elementary school teachers. Findings: It was found that 98% of the primary school teachers respondents has conducted online learning during Covid-19 pandemic, and 1 teacher did not use online model. More than 9 medias used by elementary school teachers in Bantul district during the pandemic were offered namely WhatsApps, WhatsApp Web, Google Classroom, Google Group, TeamLink, Microsoft Teams, Kaizala Microsoft, Zoom Meeting & Webinar, Youtube, Google Hangouts, and others.

Abstract

Background: The implementation of education in improving understanding of finance in the community, especially students, is needed. Financial literacy is very closely related to financial management where the higher the financial literacy of an individual, the better his/her financial management. Aim: This research aimed to analyze the level of financial lliteracy of accounting students in Mercu Buana University of Yogykarta. Method: This study took a sample of 100 students of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics, Mercu Buana University of Yogyakarta class 2019-2021. Data collection using Google Form instruments distributed to 100 respondents. Descriptive analysis method to get an overview of the level of financial literacy of students of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics, Mercu Buana University of Yogyakarta class 2019-2021. Findings: From the above results, the financial literacy of students of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics, Mercu Buana University of Yogyakarta is in the moderate category, namely students have knowledge and are quite skilled in managing their personal finances.

Abstract

Background: PP 88 of 2019 on Occupational Health lists about Occupational Diseases (PAK) is a disease that occurs as a result of work results and or the environment around the workplace. Occupational Diseases must have a direct relationship with exposure experienced by workers, must be scientifically proven and use evidence methods based on evidence based medicine. Aim: As the title indicates, this research aimed to explore more about legal protection for doctors who are infected during work. Method: This is a qualitative or normative research method. Researchers looked at cases of Occupational Diseases in Hospitals and how they were linked to regulations regarding loss reimbursement. Findings: There are cases of Occupational Diseases in Hospitals that until now there has never been compensation as mandated by PP No. 15 of 2019, there needs to be a mechanism in the enforcement of PAK diagnoses and indemnity mechanisms.

Abstract

Background: The pandemic, also known as COVID-19, has a significant impact on the global economy and tax system. As a result, taxes will be lower, and national economic growth will be slower, national income will be lower, and spending and financing will be higher. Aim: The author decided to do research into the relationship between digitalization and the quality of taxes, tax incentives, and taxpayer obligations. Method: This research applied quantitative approach and a total of 400 respondents were selected from regular persons who have served as tax commissioners in DKI Jakarta and have used online tax services. Findings: Tax digitalization, the quality of tax services, and tax incentives have all benefited from taxpayer compliance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the COVID-19 epidemic, tax incentives can help to attenuate, if not strengthen, the influence of tax digitization on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

Background: The transfer of all or part of a donor's body organ tissue to a recipient in the hopes of improving the recipient's quality of life is known as transplantation. Meanwhile, organs are important parts of the human body that are made up of a range of tissues that can maintain structure, vascularity, and the ability to conduct physiological functions. Aim: Based on the title, this research aimed to review the ethical and legal consequences of organ donation in Indonesia. Abstract

Background: In the current global era, the medical profession is one of the professions that gets the spotlight. The spotlight on the medical profession is a sign that currently some people are not satisfied with health services and the service of the medical profession in the community. Patient dissatisfaction occurs because of unbalanced communication between doctors and patients, there is no relationship of trust between doctors and patients in the relationship that occurs. Aim: Based on the above background, the purpose of this study is to discuss clinical ethics, health law and their implementation in clinical practice. Method: The type of research that was be used in this journal research is normative legal research. Normative legal research examines law from an internal perspective with the object of research being legal norms. Findings: One of the simple things in the implementation of clinical ethics is the application of informed consent in clinical practice. Informed consent has a dual role in upholding the rights of patients and on the other hand protecting doctors in the face of lawsuits.

Abstract

Background: The use of information technology applied through information systems provides convenience to users, especially shop owners in doing work, not only in the recording of goods but also in the creation of goods data reports. Goods data is an important element in a store that must be managed properly and requires thoroughness so that applications are needed to minimize errors. Aim: It makes it easier the process of recording data of goods that previously still use manual systems. Method: In researching making application systems, the method used is a qualitative method, where the information obtained is sourced from various collections of data analysis and existing theories and then conclusions are drawn to obtain new theories. Findings: The result of this application system is that the collection of goods will be faster and reports of the entry and exit of goods more accurate. The research method used is a qualitative method, where the information obtained is sourced from various data analysis sets and existing theories and then concluded to get a new theory.

Abstract

Background: This article discusses the values of character education in the stories contained in Al-Qur'an surah Al-Buruuj verses 4-8. This study was motivated by the moral crisis of students in Indonesia associated with the lack of character education that refers to religious values, so researchers took a story in the Qur'an, namely the Ashaabul Ukhduud story contained in Al-Buruuj verse 4-8 for taking the values of character education, it is hoped that it can be a solution to the moral crisis experienced in this country. Aim: This study is intended to answer problems, namely what are the values of character education in the Ashaabul Uhduud story? This problem is discussed and answered through the Holy Qur'an and its interpretations which are the guidelines and explanations of Muslim scriptures. Method: Writing this thesis uses library research or library research. The method used is the tahlili method. The source of writing data is taken from books or materials that are relevant to the discussion of problems in writing this essay. The source of this research data is distinguished writing into two groups, the first is primary data sources originating from the Qur'an and interpretations then the second source is secondary data sources originating from sources/books that are still related to research problems. Findings: The values contained in Al-Buruj verses 4-8 are honesty, empathy, nationalism, tolerance, religion, discipline, courage, being a learner throughout life, and responsibility.

Abstract

Background: One of the fields that take advantage of the positive impact of the development of information technology in education. The impact of the development of information technology on the field of education is one of them is indicated by the increasingly varied learning methods that are currently widely developed. One of the learning methods that are now starting to be widely developed is the multimedia-based interactive learning method. Aim: This research aims to find out the role of interactive multimedia on the development of children's character and religiosity at GKPB MDC Lippo Cikarang Sunday School. Method: This penelitian is causality research with quantitative method approaches. The population in the study was the parents of 33 samples of the Elim Tabernacle's Faith Victory Church. The sample used in this study was as many as 33 parents of students of Elim Tabernacle Church Victory of Faith as many as 33 samples. Findings: Interactive multimedia has a significant effect directly on the development of character and religiosity in children of GKPB MDC Lippo Cikarang Sunday School.

Abstract

Background: The volume of electronic money transactions in Indonesia tends to fluctuate, before finally experiencing a decrease at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and reaching the lowest level in May 2020 which then slowly increased again until September 2021. Bank Indonesia (BI) with the government and relevant authorities cooperated in taking steps to monitor, assess, and mitigate the impact of the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Aim: This study aims to find out how the variable effect of electronic money transaction volume (e-money) influences inflation in Indonesia and how accurate the prediction of the volume of electronic money transactions in the future Method: The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with an associative type of research approach. This study uses a type of secondary data involving a quantitative variable where data in the form of Time series that takes the object of the State of Indonesia as a reference. Data involves a single quantitative predictor variable. Findings: Based on this study, the authors found that there needs to be an increase in the volume of electronic transactions by 484,630,000 to increase inflation to reach the target in 2021.
