Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the value relevance of the fair value of assets and liabilities at levels 1 and 2 is higher than at level 3 and to find out whether institutional ownership increases the value relevance of the fair value of assets at level 1, level 2 and level 3. This research was conducted in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 period, which was determined using the purposive sampling method so that 90 company sample data were selected. Using the panel data linear regression method, the results show that the fair value of level 3 assets is more relevant than levels 1 and 2, while the fair value of liabilities at levels 1 and 2 produces a higher relevance than level 3. This research shows that it is not proven that level 1 and 2 fair value information is more relevant than level 3 for investor decision making. In subsequent tests, institutional ownership is not proven to increase the relevance of the fair value of level 1, level 2 and level 3 assets.

Abstract

Unemployment and poverty are two macroeconomic indicators. This research discusses the problem of the unemployment rate against the poverty rate in the city of Palembang in 2020–2021. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the unemployment rate in the city of Palembang on the poverty rate in 2020–2021. This study uses multiple linear analysis methods with secondary data and a quantitative approach. Unemployment or joblessness is a term given to people who do not work at all or who are looking for work. Unemployment can also be interpreted as a situation when someone does not have a job. Unemployment is also generally found in the number of workers or someone looking for work that is not proportional to the number of available jobs they can get. Therefore, problems in the economy due to unemployment can reduce productivity and income in society, which can lead to poverty and other social problems. Unemployment, according to BPS, is a resident who is not working but is looking for work or preparing for a business, or feels that it is impossible to get a job (is desperate), or has been accepted to work but has not started working yet. BPS determines the poverty criteria using the basic needs approach, while the poverty indicators used are the head count index and the severity index,

Abstract

Retail is the last link in the goods distribution process. Through retail, products can meet directly with consumers. The purpose of this study is to prove the effect on revisit intention and WOM intention for supermarkets. Further factors can be seen in the variable service quality, price fairness, perceived value and satisfaction. This is a quantitative study using a purposive sampling technique distributed through questionnaires to 240 supermarket visitor respondents aged at least 17 years, have visited the supermarket at least 2x and are domiciled in JABODETABEK. The analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results of this study indicate that service quality has the most impact on price fairness and perceived value. For the indirect effect, satisfaction mediates the relationship between service quality with revisit intention and WOM intention. This study provides suggestions for supermarkets to focus on service quality and perceived value to increase satisfaction so that customers have visit intention and WOM intention. The researcher suggests for further research to increase the number of respondents and make the proportion of respondents' ages more even.
