Abstract

The rise of illegal investment in Indonesia has made the OJK more vigorously conducting financial literacy education to the public. It is hoped that victims of illegal investment can be minimized in such a way that they can increase inclusion and public trust in financial services institutions and products in Indonesia. Research shows that individuals who have a high level of financial literacy will tend to do good financial planning such as: saving, making budgeting, paying debts on time and investing. This study aims to measure the level of financial literacy and how it affects financial behavior in millennial generations. Millennial generation here is the generation born between 1980-1994. This generation has unique characteristics where it is very concerned about social life and tends to be more consumptive than the previous generation. This is what makes it difficult for this generation to wisely manage finances. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy shows a significant positive effect on financial behavior. From this research it can be said that differences in knowledge will lead to differences in attitudes and behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Product Quality, Price, and Brand Image on Customer Loyalty (Study on Customers of Natural Nusantara Cosmetics Product Users in Gunungkidul). The sampling technique has used a Non-Probability model used was the purposive sampling method. The sampling criteria in this study were that some customers of Natural Nusantara cosmetics users in Gunungkidul, had purchased Natural Nusantara cosmetic products at least twice. The sample in this study were 100 respondents, The data analysis method used Multiple Regression, Y = 15.163 + 0.212X1 + 0.433X2 + (-0.006X3). The results showed that product quality and price had a positive and significant effects on customer loyalty of Nusantara Natural Cosmetics users in Gunungkidul, so H1 and H2 was accepted. While brand image had a negative and had no significant effect on customer loyalty of users of Natural Nusantara Cosmetics products in Gunungkidul, so H3 is rejected.

Abstract

Economic growth is an important factor in measuring how successful the economy is. Therefore, many countries will always try to increase their economic growth for priority targets that must be achieved. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence economic growth in OIC member countries, which consists of 15 countries, namely Afghanistan, Bahrain, Balangdesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. This study consists of five variables, namely: GDP, Investment, Exports, Imports, and Government Expenditure using panel data regression analysis. The results showed that three of the four variables used to significantly influence economic growth in OIC countries were exports, imports, and government expenditure, while the investment variable had no significant effect. From this study it can be concluded that not all variables have a significant effect on economic growth in OIC countries.

Abstract

Kemiskinan masih menjadi masalah utama yang ada di Indonesia. Dalam upaya mengatasi masalah kemiskinan, pemerintah telah berusaha dengan membentuk berbagai program yang bertujuan untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan warganya. Namun tidak jarang program-program tersebut prosesnya tidak berjalan sesuai rencana dan tidak dapat mencapai tujuan. Berbeda dengan kondisi kegagalan tersebut, masyarakat kulon progo memiliki pemimpin yang gigih dalam memperjuangkan hak-hak rakyatnya. Terciptalah integrasi bidang ekonomi daerah yang mandiri, dan hanya beberapa tahun angka kemiskinan di kulon progo, berhasil diturunkan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan salah satu kunci kesuksesan program pengentasan kemiskinan yang dilaksanakan oleh Bupati Kulon Progo dengan menggunakan studi kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini memiliki temuan bahwa salah satu faktor terpenting dalam kesuksesan program “Bela Beli Kulon Progo” adalah pemanfaatan secara optimal sumberdaya lokal di wilayah Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Kesuksesan program tersebut terbukti dengan data-data lapangan yang menunjukkan penurunan prosentase kemiskinan dan peningkatan Pendapatan Daerah Regional Bruto di wilayah Kabupaten Kulon Progo.

Abstract

Profitability and dividend policy viewed with signaling theory has information content so that it can affect the value of the company. The purpose of this study is to examine the mediation of dividend policy on the effect of profitability on the value of listed SOEs in the 2014-2018 period. Research samples of 13 companies were taken using a purposive sampling technique with several criteria according to research needs. The research method uses a quantitative approach with simple regression analysis tools and sobel tests. This study shows that partially profitability has a significant effect on firm value, profitability has a significant effect on dividend policy, while dividend policy does not affect firm value. this study also shows that dividend policy cannot mediate the effect of profitability on firm value.
