Abstract

Abstract: Fuel entering through the main jet nozzle, affects engine performance and the composition of the exhaust gas is produced. Research the composition of the exhaust gases in machines otto one cylinder done with experimental method. The purpose of this study was to obtain the characteristics of the engine with exhaust gas analysis method. This research done with varying size main jet nozzle and varying the engine rotation every 400 rpm. Data processing the results of testing includes a comparison of the composition of the exhaust gases is HC, CO2, CO, O2, AFR, and the temperature of the exhaust gases. Then calculate the enthalpy of combustion for each main jet nozzle. The composition of the exhaust gases are best obtained from the main jet nozzle GX 160 which has the highest CO2 value of 20%, with the lowest CO value of 1.26% and the largest combustion enthalpy value with the value of 264.769 kJ. From the analysis can be known that the burning of the main jet nozzle GX 160 approaching the stoichiometric combustion.

Abstract

Abstrak: Era globalisasi ini, mesin sistem manual dibiarkan dan diubah oleh mesin sistem otomatis untuk membantu operasi manusia. Dengan demikian makalah ini akan menjelaskan tentang bagaimana objek kerja dalam distribusi otomatis dibuat khusus untuk modul pengumpan (stasiun makan dan stasiun pengangkat) yang dibuat secara modular. Stasiun pakan dalam bentuk papan yang digerakkan oleh pneumatik tanpa batang dan berfungsi sebagai tempat kerja pendorong dimana di angkat sekrup untuk melanjutkan kerja benda ke stasiun berikutnya. Stasiun pengangkat berbentuk palet di lantai 3 yang digerakkan dengan motor DC gerak sudut yang diubah oleh sekrup timah menjadi gerakan linier untuk menyesuaikan ketinggian. Semua proses distribusi ini dikendalikan oleh PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) dalam kapasitas 26 I / O (16 input dan 10 output). Salah satu bahasa pemrograman yang mudah dipelajari adalah Functional Block Diagram (FBD). Pada FBD, ada metode Sequential Function Chart (SFC) untuk menentukan urutan pekerjaan program. Hasilnya adalah mesin simulasi stasiun makan dan stasiun pengangkat dalam skala laboratorium yang dapat memberi makan benda kerja di stasiun berikutnya sepanjang gerak diagram setiap stasiun.

Abstract

Abstract: Fatigue is a form of failure that occurred in the structure due to fluctuating dynamic loads that occur below the yield strength for a long time and repeatedly. Determines the required material fatigue test equipment fatigue. Fatigue test equipment is designed with rotary bending systems. Re-design tool that was originally done to digitize readings manually replaced with a digital readout. Digitization include the addition of pulse digital meter, digital meter counter and the system auto shutdown. The addition of a digital readout to facilitate the conduct of research and testing of materials.

Abstract

Abstract: Automation is a technology that can be used to implement an instructional process or an automatic procedure. In this framework that has been using an instructional program that combined with a control system to process an instruction or commands. This processing module is a part of the automation which checking a process simulation of hollow and not hollow objects, then a PLC is use to control the process as designed be needed to control all of the working processing modules systems works. working system, a programming language that easily to be understood is needed such as functional block diagram (FBD) is use to program a plc system which functional block diagram (FBD) is a method that can describe a function between input and output variable, in FBD there is a Sequential Function Chart method (SFC ) which control the program sequential activity. So this research discusses the control of processing module which based on FBD programming language by using the SFC method.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the effect of variations in the diameter of the main jet nozzles on the performance of the motor fuel. Performance analysis covering torque, power and specific fuel consumption (sfc). With the aim to determine the maximum performance that can be generated on any variation of the diameter of the main jet nozzles. At the time of this experiment performed with the engine 4 stroke Honda GX-160, using hydro tool dynamometer and using premium fuel. The data taken is the engine rotation, the force measured on the dynamometer and the time spent fuels. Tests conducted at the Laboratory of Energy Conversion Mechanical Engineering UNTAR Jakarta. Testing is done by providing the machine with a load variation of rotation remains in order to obtain a force on each spin machine with a main jet nozzle diameter variations. Variations rev the engine starts at the minimum rotation until maksimuml with fixed load, variations in the diameter of the main jet nozzles on testing.
