Abstract

There are still not many SMP/MTs/Equivalents in Indonesia holding online New Student Admissions, one example being MTsN 4 Kab. Lima Puluh Kota under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion Kab. Lima Puluh Kota. During manual PPDB at MTsN 4 Kab. Lima Puluh Kota there are several obstacles both experienced by the school, prospective students and parents, both in terms of administration or information at the time of PPDB implementation. Another problem that arises is the distance of the radius and distance of students who will register to school; from the data, the authors found that the radius and the furthest distance traveled by students was ± 18-20. It is the author's background in designing an Android-based PPDB information system using the 4D version of the R&D method with the SDLC waterfall system development model. The programming language used is PHP language assisted with MySQL database. From the product test that the author did, the results obtained: the validity test was carried out by filling out a questionnaire that referred to the Aiken's V statistical formula, namely 0.80 Valid criteria addressed to 3 lecturers, the practicality test was carried out by filling out a questionnaire which was analyzed with a percentage per rhythm, namely 93 ,33 Very Practical criteria aimed at 3 teachers and the effectiveness test is carried out by filling out a questionnaire that refers to the statistical moment kappa formula, namely 0.91 Very Effective criteria addressed to 15 students.

Abstract

Decision-making in determining product orders is a method that managers can use to determine the type of product to be ordered again based on previous sales. Product orders to be reordered will be determined based on the highest number of sales among similar products. One of the methods that can be used is the AHP method, where the AHP method can assist managers in making decisions by providing a sequence of decision alternatives accompanied by a percentage on each alternative. The research method used in this journal is the system development life cycle (SDLC) which can describe the activities in this research in detail. The application of product orders with the AHP method will be applied to a case, namely an order for clothing products at a well-known clothing outlet in Bukittinggi. The product order system will be implemented into an application designed with the Visual Basic 2010 programming language and MySQL database to make it easier for managers to make decisions. With this research, it is hoped that it can help store managers in making decisions for determining clothing orders so that they can produce the best decisions that can provide benefits in the business that is being undertaken.

Abstract

The heavy equipment business in Indonesia is again excited in line with the increasing demand for heavy equipment by various sectors such as the mining sector, the agro-industry sector, and the construction sector. PT. Petronesia Benimel is one of the business fields engaged in renting heavy equipment. The management of the heavy equipment rental schedule to other companies has been carried out using a computerized system, namely using the Microsoft Excel application which is still not optimal in integrating, calling and processing data at once. Using these applications independently results in the management of heavy equipment rental reports being constrained because tenant data and rental management are often out of sync. The application uses Visual Basic programming language and MySQL database supported by research and product development methods and waterfall development models. Based on the trial results of using a schedule report application that can make it easier for staff to manage heavy unit rental schedules from various partner companies (stakeholders) so that better reports are obtained.

Abstract

PT. Rifansi Dwi Putra is a company that operates in the Oil and Gas Industry, especially in the Waste Handling Transportation (WHT) Project regarding Waste Transportation. PT. Rifansi Dwi Putra especially at the Sand Management Facility (SMF) in processing waste volume data already uses a computer and is supported by Microsoft Excel software. However, doing data input, searching, processing, and reporting takes a relatively long time. So that the resulting information is less accurate, thus requests for fast and accurate information are often late in presenting their reports. In this regard, to facilitate the process of data accuracy, it is better to create an application for data collection of waste volumes using Visual Basic Programming Language and MySQL database. To facilitate the operations department, especially in recording the volume of waste transported to the Sand Management Facility (SMF) and making reports on the volume of waste to control, repair, and process data based on information technology and help the obstacles faced. To produce applications in waste volume data collection to facilitate structured data input in the data entry process, make it easier to search waste volume data, and help the management team produce accurate waste volume reports, making it easier to make decisions. The user of this application is only owned by one person because it is still a single user or stand alone (desktop-based) and this application produces three reports, namely reports per day, reports per month and reports per unit.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the discovery of problems in terms of calculating inheritance in the Mawaris Fiqh course at the Islamic Family Law Department of IAIN Bukittinggi, the calculation of inheritance in the Maris Fiqh course still uses the manual method, in which lecturers and students still have to calculate using pen and paper how much the number of shares of each person entitled to inheritance rights. The purpose of this research is to design an Android-Based Application for Inheritance Calculation of Islamic Law for Fiqh Mawaris Subject, Islamic Family Law Department, Sharia Faculty IAIN Bukittinggi, which is practical, effective and efficient. The method used in this research is Research and Development, better known as (R&D). 4D Models (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The system development model used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The model used in this SDLC is the waterfall, namely Communication, Planning, Modeling, Construction, and Development. The programming language used is the PHP programming language. The product test used is the Test of Validity, Test of Effectiveness and Test of Practicality. The system that has been designed has been tested and has been declared valid, effective and practical in its use. The results of the product test that the author did obtain a validity test from 3 experts obtained a value of 0.80 with a valid category, a practicality test from 5 practitioners obtained a value of 0.93 in a very high category, and test effectiveness of 5 appraisers obtained a value of 0.86 effective categories.

Abstract

E-commerce applications to sell various products produced by students in higher education can increase income-generating. However, a few universities still use e-commerce to sell student products, especially learning products. This research aims to produce an e-commerce application for web-based learning products in universities. The research method is development research with a research design using the waterfall model. The waterfall model procedure consists of analysis, design, coding, and testing. The system design uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling such as context diagrams, class diagrams, use case diagrams, and activity diagrams. The system's coding uses the PHP programming language, Jquery, and the Boostrap Framework. The testing stage is through black-box analysis carried out by experts in the field of system design, with the results of testing each case being well-integrated and feasible to be applied. The result of the research is a web-based e-commerce application that sells learning products in universities.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the confusion of students looking for title references for students' final assignments due to several obstacles, one of which was the lack of information about titles that had been done on their campus. The thesis catalog used in the library of the South Tapanuli Education Institute (IPTS) still uses printed media in one document in each department so that students have to take turns reading the catalog or students can directly look for theses one by one in the thesis cabinet or shelf and the current system is not yet running. using a database so as to allow the loss of the alumni thesis title data recap. So this is the background for the author to design a Thesis Catalog System by implementing a brute force algorithm in the process of searching for the title of the thesis. This thesis catalog system is a system that aims to facilitate the performance of library staff in inputting data, especially making it easier for students to find title references. The method that the author uses in this research is the development of R&D with the ADDIE model. In addition, the author also uses the SDLC development model while the model that the author uses in this study is the Waterfall model. The programming language used is the PHP language assisted by the MySQL database. Based on the results of the research that the author did, based on the validity test of 3 experts obtained a value of 0.80 Valid criteria, for the practicality test of 2 practitioners obtained a value of 0.889 very practical criteria and the effectiveness test of 10 students obtained a value of 0.871 very effective criteria, so that the value obtained proves that the thesis catalog system can help and is ready to use.

Abstract

Sociometry is something that can be used in studying the structure of social relations among a group of individuals on the basis of research on social relations and social status of each member of the group concerned. Currently the service of sociometric instruments in the guidance and counseling laboratory of the Bukittinggi State Islamic Institute is still using conventional techniques using Ms.Excel. It is done manually using the distribution of questionnaires, Ms.Excel, which is still combined with Ms.Acces, which is not online yet , so that it can only be distributed in labor, and the next problem is that the application that uses Ms.Excel cannot yet display sociometric reports graphically. The research method that the author uses is the R&D Research & Development method with a waterfall SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) system development model consisting of the Communication.Planning.Modeling stages. Construction.Deployment. For the product test that the author did, the results obtained: the validity test by the validator obtained a value of 0.85 with valid criteria, the practicality test by the practitioner obtained a value of 0.83 with the Very Practical criteria, and the effectiveness test by the effectivator obtained a value of 0.75 with the Very Effective criteria.

Abstract

The current online learning process requires virtual face-to-face media to interact between lecturers and students. However, currently available media requires lecturers to pay a fee to communicate indefinitely. Therefore, we need a media that can facilitate lecturers to do learning easily. This study aims to integrate jitsi with matrix conferences as a real-time online communication medium in learning. This type of research is development research (R&D) with the waterfall method. The steps taken are analysis, design, coding and testing. The analysis is carried out on the system development needs, then the design stage of the Jitsi architecture with a matrix, then coding using PHP and testing through QoS. QoS testing has very good throughput results, poor packet loss, very good delay, and excellent jitter for small-scale applications. It shows that picking video conferencing can be used as a medium of communication in online learning.

Abstract

WHO in 2013 released data in the Global Tuberculosis Report that 8.6 million more people were positive for TB, and 15.12% of them died. One of the causes of death due to tuberculosis is too late to know when it is infected and too late to get treatment. For an initial diagnosis of whether someone has TB, they can immediately go to a hospital or use a computer application that has an expert's ability. This study aims to design an expert system for the early diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis using the Forward Chaining method. Expert System is one part of Artificial Intelligence that can create a computer program to provide decisions and analysis like an expert or expert in a particular field. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development method with the ADDIE approach. The expert system for early diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis is designed by making a decision tree diagram to find out the rules needed to diagnose whether a person has intestinal tuberculosis from the symptoms experienced. The formulation of the problem or the rules needed for the initial diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis in this study was built using the Forward Chaining method. The output of this research is an Expert System in the form of a Stand-Alone application that is built with the Visual Basic Programming Language, which can provide diagnostic results whether a person suffers from intestinal tuberculosis from the symptoms entered into the Expert System Interface.
