Abstract

Post-stroke conditions will affect the quality of sleep of the elderly. Sleep disturbance is one of the health problems often faced by the elderly. This condition requires serious attention. Poor elderly sleep quality is caused by increased sleep potential, reduced sleep efficiency, and early awakening due to the aging process. This study aims to analyze the effect of 30-degree lateral positioning on the quality of sleep of the elderly post-stroke. Methods: The design in this study uses a Pre-Experiment design with a One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design approach. This research will be conducted in 2023 in Ekasari Village, Jembrana Regency, Bali. The number of samples that met the criteria was 84 respondents. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: The results of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test showed a Z value of -7,211 with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) which means that H0 is rejected, this means that there is an effect of 30-degree lateral sleeping position on the quality of sleep of the elderly after stroke. This study found that there is an effect of 30-degree lateral sleeping position on the quality of sleep of post-stroke elderly. Post-stroke elderly tend to experience improved sleep quality when sleeping in a 30-degree lateral position. This position can be applied to the elderly who experience poor sleep quality so that the elderly can improve their sleep quality.   Keywords:          post-stroke elderly; sleep quality; sleep position; lateral 30 degrees   Kondisi pasca stroke akan memberikan pengaruh pada kualitas tidur lansia. Gangguan tidur merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang sering dihadapi bagi lansia. Kondisi ini membutuhkan perhatian yang serius. Buruknya kualitas tidur lansia disebabkan oleh meningkatnya potensi tidur, berkurangnya efisiensi tidur dan terbangun lebih awal karena proses penuaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengaturan posisi lateral 30 derajat terhadap kualitas tidur lansia pasca stroke. Metode: Desain dalam Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Pre-Experiment dengan pendekatan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan pada tahun 2023 di Desa Ekasari, Kabupaten Jembrana, Bali. Jumlah sampel yang memenuhi kriteria sebanyak 84 responden. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil: Hasil Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test menunjukkan nilai Z sebesar -7.211 dengan p-value sebesar 0.000 (<0.05) yang berarti H0 ditolak, hal ini bermakna bahwa ada pengaruh posisi tidur lateral 30 derajat terhadap kualitas tidur lansia pasca stroke. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa adanya pengaruh posisi tidur lateral 30 derajat terhadap kualitas tidur lansia pasca stroke. Lansia pasca stroke cenderung mengalami peningkatan kualitas tidur ketika tidur dengan posisi lateral 30 derajat. Abstract

Hyperuricemia a condition where a person has high levels of uric acid in the blood. Red betel (Piper crocatum RUIZ & PAV) is a plant empirically used to reduce uric acid levels. This study aimed to determine the effective dose of red betel plant in reducing urinary uric acid levels in male Wistar rats with hyperuricemia. Hyperuricemia condition was obtained by giving chicken liver juice 25 mL/kg orally and potassium oxonate 250 mg/kg intraperitoneally. Red betel extract (RBE) is made by maceration using 50% ethanol. Male Wistar rats were divided into five groups: negative control (CMC-Na 0.5%), Positive control (Probenecid 4, 5 mg/kg), and extract at doses 11.5, 23 and 46 mg/kg.  The results showed that the RBE increased uric acid secretion through urine (uricosuric) compared to controls. The optimal dose for the uricosuric effect of the extract is 46 mg/kg, although this effect is lower than probenecid.   Keywords:          Red betel, uric acid, potassium oxonate, uricosuric

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Many problems arise, including dropping out of therapy due to the long duration of treatment. The study's goal was to determine the percentage of motivation before-after using the Android application and the satisfaction of tuberculosis patients. The study used a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. In May 2021, the study population consisted of tuberculosis patients at the Banjar Public Health Centre who satisfied the research criteria. Respondents used the programme for 7 days and completed a questionnaire on the last day. Twelve respondents met the research criteria. The results showed an average percentage of pretest motivation of 78.20% and a posttest percentage of 80.29%. The findings of the level of satisfaction of the respondents after using audiovisuals were 66.5%. In summary, the Android-based audiovisual for tuberculosis patients that has been developed increases patient motivation and satisfaction.   Keywords:          satisfaction, motivation, taking medications, smartphone   Abstrak Tuberkulosis termasuk penyakit infeksi menular disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Permasalahan yang banyak terjadi yaitu putus berobat dikarenakan durasi pengobatan yang panjang sehingga memerlukan motivasi tinggi agar dapat menjalani pengobatan hingga selesai. Tujuan penelitian mengukur persentase motivasi sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan aplikasi android dan kepuasan pasien tuberkulosis terhadap aplikasi android. Penelitian merupakan pre-experimental designs dengan one group pre-test post-test design dan pengambilan data prospektif menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi penelitian yaitu pasien tuberkulosis di Puskesmas Kabupaten Banjar bulan Mei tahun 2021 dan memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Responden menggunakan aplikasi selama 7 hari dan pada hari terakhir diukur motivasi dan tingkat kepuasan menggunakan kuesioner. Sebanyak 12 responden memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Hasil penelitian memperoleh rerata persentase motivasi pre-test sebesar 78,20% dan post-test sebesar 80,29%. Hasil tingkat kepuasan responden setelah penggunaan audiovisual sebesar 66,5% yang termasuk kategori puas. Kesimpulan audiovisual berbasis android untuk pasien tuberkulosis yang telah dirancang membantu meningkatkan motivasi pasien dan memberikan kepuasan.   Kata Kunci:         kepuasan, motivasi, minum obat, smartphone

Abstract

Abstract Alzheimer's contamination is a neurodegenerative sickness brought about by a decline in the blend of acetylcholine because of the breakdown of acetylcholine into choline and the determination of acidic corrosive by the compound Acetylcholinesterase (Hurt). Compounds known to have heartbeat restraining developments are promising medications for the treatment of these contaminations. In this investigation, in-silico studies were done on the blend found in Miana (Coleus) further to see whether this combination could be utilized as a remedial application in the treatment of Alzheimer's illness utilizing sub-nuclear docking procedures. Larutan yang diketahui memiliki gerakan penghambatan denyut merupakan obat yang menjanjikan untuk pengobatan infeksi ini. Dalam eksplorasi ini, studi in-silico dilakukan pada campuran yang ditemukan di Miana (Coleus) selanjutnya untuk melihat apakah campuran ini dapat digunakan sebagai aplikasi pengobatan dalam pengobatan penyakit Alzheimer dengan menggunakan strategi docking sub-atomik. Dari hasil penyelidikan diketahui bahwa senyawa Pyrazolopyridine adalah pesaing obat terbaik dengan energi ikatan dan keuntungan stabil pengekangan masing-masing - 6,96 kkal/mol dan 7,95 µm, dengan ikatan hidrogen terjadi pada penumpukan korosif amino SER 293.   Kata Kunci:         Alzheimer’s; In Silico; Miana

Abstract

Senggani leaves are a plant that can be found in Indonesia, including hilly locations. The people of Marendal, Patumbak subdistrict, believe that senggani leaves may heal minor skin wounds. The goal of this study was to identify the class of secondary metabolite chemical compounds and their antibacterial efficacy against the microorganisms Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis at 5, 10, and 20% concentrations. The ethanol extract of senggani leaves contains secondary metabolite compounds with antibacterial activity. According to the antibacterial test results, a 20% ethanol extract of senggani leaves is effective against Propionibacterium with a diameter of 10.7 mm, a 10% in the medium category with a diameter of 9.27 mm, and a 5% in the medium category with a diameter of 8.8 mm. Meanwhile, the diameter of Staphylococcus epidermidis at a 20% was 8.77 mm in the medium category, 8.37 mm at 10%, and 8.6 mm at a 5% concentration.   Keywords:          Propionibacterium acnes, Senggani leaves, Staphylococcus epidermidis

Abstract

The lean hospital approach is a systematic approach in identifying and eliminating waste through continuous improvement to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of a hospital service process. This study aimed to identified waste, the root cause of critical waste, and provided suggestions for improvement to minimize critical waste in inpatient pharmaceutical installation of Pandan Arang General Public Hospital, Boyolali. Method that used in this research was qualitative research with stages namely observed the service process flow in the form of value stream mapping, distributed questionnaires for waste to got critical waste and conducted interviews with the 5 why method to found out the root cause of the problem. The results showed that on medication service flowhome for class 1, VIP and VVIP patients with critical waste, namely waste defects of 43.34%, waste transportation of 41.67% , and waste inventory of 43.33%. The root cause of waste in the three lines of the service process is human resources that lack discipline. The proposed improvement for waste in the service process is by applying the 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, dan Shitsuke) method with the key of success are discipline and consistency applied to service providers.   Keywords:          Lean hospital, Waste, Inpatient Pharmacy Installation, Pandan Arang Boyolali General Public Hospital   Abstrak Pendekatan lean hospital adalah pendekatan sistematik dalam mengidentifikasi dan menghilangkan pemborosan (waste) melalui perbaikan yang berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kualitas, keamanan dan efisiensi suatu proses pelayanan di rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi waste, akar penyebab waste kritis dan memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk meminimalkan waste kritis di instalasi farmasi rawat inap RSUD Pandan Arang Boyolali. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan tahapan yaitu observasi alur proses pelayanan dalam bentuk value stream mapping, penyebaran kuesioner waste untuk mendapatkan waste kritis serta wawancara dengan metode 5 why untuk mengetahui akar penyebab masalah terjadinya waste. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada alur pelayanan obat pulang untuk pasien kelas 1, VIP, dan VVIP di instalasi farmasi rawat inap RSUD Pandan Arang Boyolali dengan waste kritis yaitu waste defect sebesar 43,34%, waste transportation sebesar 41,67% dan waste inventory sebesar 43,33%. Akar penyebab dari waste pada alur proses pelayanan obat ini adalah pada sumber daya manusia yang kurang disiplin. Usulan perbaikan kejadian waste pada proses pelayanan obat di alur pelayanan obat pulang untuk pasien kelas 1, VIP dan VVIP yaitu dengan menerapkan metode 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu dan Shitsuke) dengan kunci keberhasilan yaitu disiplin dan konsisten yang diterapkan pada petugas pemberi pelayanan.   Kata Kunci:         Lean hospital, Waste, Instalasi Farmasi Rawat Inap, RSUD Pandan Arang Boyolali

Abstract

Bidara leaves contain secondary metabolite compounds such as saponins, tannins, alkaloids and flavonoids which have antibacterial activity. Apart from bidara leaves, another natural ingredient that has antibacterial activity is Trigona sp honey. The aim of this research is to create an essence sheet mask formulation combining bidara leaves extract and Trigona sp honey with FI (1%: 5%), FII (3%: 3%), FIII (5%: 1%). Then evaluation test was carried out: organoleptic (color, aroma, shape), homogeneity, pH, room temperature stability, viscosity, and antibacterial determination with Propionibacterium acnes. The results of pH measurements at FII and FIII showed stable results. The physical stability test of the essence preparation was stable in room temperature. Antibacterial activity test at FI 16.1 mm, FII 17.3 mm, and FIII 13.5 mm in the strong category. Essence sheet mask formulation blended with bidara leaves extract and Trigona sp honey is stable and has antibacterial activity against P. acnes.   Keywords:          Formulation, Bidara, Kelulut Honey, Mask, Anti-acne   Abstrak Daun bidara mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder seperti saponin, tanin, alkaloid dan flavonoid yang memiliki aktivitas antibakteri. Selain daun bidara bahan alam lain yang memiliki aktivitas antibakteri adalah madu Trigona sp. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat formulasi essence sheet mask kombinasi ekstrak daun bidara dan madu Trigona sp. dengan FI (1%:5%), FII (3%:3%), FIII (5%:1%). Kemudian dilakukan evaluasi sediaan secara organoleptis (warna, aroma, bentuk), uji homogenitas, pH, stabilitas suhu ruang, viskositas, dan uji antibakteri dengan Propionibacterium acnes. Hasil pengukuran pH pada FII dan FIII menunjukkan hasil yang stabil. Hasil uji stabilitas fisik sediaan essence memenuhi syarat dalam penyimpanan suhu ruangan. Uji aktivitas antibakteri pada FI 16,1 mm, FII 17,3 mm, dan FIII 13,5 mm  dengan kategori kuat. Formulasi essence sheet mask blended ekstrak daun bidara dan madu Trigona sp. dapat diformulasikan menjadi sediaan essence sheet mask yang stabil dan memenuhi syarat serta memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap  P. acnes.   Kata Kunci:         Formulasi, Bidara, Madu kelulut, Masker, Anti-acne

Abstract

Kaffir lime leaves (Citrus hystrix) come from the Rutaceae juss family. Kaffir lime leaves contain flavonoids, saponins, tannins, triterpenoids, alkaloids and essential oils. In this study, kaffir lime leaf extracts and fractions were made into 3 concentrations, namely 5, 10, and 20 mg/mL. This study aims to determine the fibrinolytic activity of n-hexane, ethyl acetate and water extracts and fractions using the clot lysis method. Fibrinolytic activity can be seen from the lysis of blood clots in the eppendorf tube. Kaffir lime leaf extracts and fractions were tested for chemical content to determine the compounds contained therein that have fibrinolytic activity. The results showed that the extract and fractions of n-hexane, ethyl acetate and water had fibrinolytic activity. The most active sample that had fibrinolytic activity was the ethyl acetate fraction with a blood clot lysis percentage of 89.80% at a concentration of 20 mg/mL. Compounds that are thought to have fibrinolytic activity contained in the ethyl acetate fraction as the most active sample are flavonoids, saponins and essential oils.   Keywords:          clot lysis, kaffir lime leaves, fibrinolytic, fraction   Abstrak Daun jeruk purut (Citrus hystrix) berasal dari famili Rutaceae juss. Daun jeruk purut memiliki kandungan flavonoid, saponin, tanin, triterpenoid, alkaloid, dan minyak atsiri. Pada penelitian ini ekstrak dan fraksi daun jeruk purut dibuat menjadi 3 konsentrasi yaitu 5, 10, dan 20 mg/mL. Ekstrak dan fraksi daun jeruk purut dilakukan pengujian kandungan kimia untuk mengetahui senyawa yang terkandung didalamnya yang memiliki aktivitas fibrinolitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak dan fraksi n-heksana, etil asetat dan air memiliki aktivitas fibrinolitik. Sampel teraktif yang memiliki aktivitas fibrinolitik yaitu pada fraksi etil asetat dengan persentase lisis gumpalan darah sebesar 89,80% pada konsentrasi 20 mg/mL. Senyawa yang diduga memiliki aktivitas fibrinolitik yang terdapat di dalam fraksi etil asetat sebagai sampel teraktif yaitu flavonoid, saponin, dan minyak atsiri.   Kata Kunci:         clot lysis, daun jeruk purut, fibrinolitik, fraksi

Abstract

Red ginger is one of the natural ingredients that can be used to treat diabetes mellitus instead of synthetic drugs, which can have too many side effects. The compounds gingerol and shogaol obtained from red ginger have the ability to inhibit the alpha-amylase enzyme's function. Red ginger extract employs a liquid-liquid extraction method with a separating funnel for methanol fractionation and n-hexane fractionation, using a 96% ethanol solvent with an extraction method. The TLC method is utilized to identify the compounds of gingerol and shogaol, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry is employed to measure the inhibition of alpha-amylase enzyme activity. Utilizing the Rf value computation and the IC50 value computation results, data analysis was performed. The result of the methanol fraction of  5,585 µg/ml had the highest IC50 value followed by ethanol extract of 5,778 µg/ml and finally the n-hexane fraction of  5,783 µg/ml.   Keywords:          Fraction, extract, red ginger, inhibition, alpha-amylase enzyme   Abstrak Isi abstrak Pengobatan diabetes melitus dapat menggunakan bahan alam yaitu dengan jahe merah agar dapat mengurangi penggunaan obat-obatan sintesis yang dapat memicu terjadinya efek samping yang berlebih. Jahe merah memiki kandungan senyawa gingerol dan shogaol yang dapat melakukan penghambatan pada aktivitas enzim alfa-amilase. Ekstrak jahe merah menggunakan pelarut etanol 96% dengan metode maserasi, untuk fraksinasi n-heksana dan fraksinasi methanol menggunakan metode ekstraksi cair-cair yang menggunakan corong pisah. Identifikasi senyawa gingerol dan shogaol menggunakan metode KLT untuk uji penghambatan aktivitas enzim alfa-amilase menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan perhitungan nilai Rf dan hasil perhitungan nilai IC50. Adapun nilai IC50 tertinggi yaitu pada hasil fraksi  metanol sebesar 5.585 µg/ml diikuti dengan ekstrak etanol 5.778 µg/ml dan terakhir fraksi n-heksana sebesar 5.783 µg/ml.   Kata Kunci:         Fraksi, ekstrak, jahe merah, penghambatan, alfa-amylase

Abstract

Clove oil and lemongrass essential oil can be formulated into Nanoemulsion Gel preparations as topical preparations for the skin. This Nanoemulsion Gel preparation is formulated by first making a nanoemulsion preparation, which is then made into a Nanoemulsion Gel preparation by dispersing the nanoemulsion into a gel that has been made with active ingredients from clove oil and lemongrass essential oil. The gel nanoemulsion preparation was then analyzed for the stability of its chemical components using GC-MS. The results of analysis using GC-MS obtained that a Nanoemulsion Gel preparation formulated from clove oil and lemongrass oil was chemically stable.   Keywords:          Nanoemulsion gel preparation, Chemical stability, GC-MS   Abstrak Minyak atsiri cengkeh dan minyak atsiri sereh dapat diformulasikan menjadi sediaan nanoemulsi gel sebagai sediaan topikal pada kulit. Sediaan nanoemulsi gel ini diformulasikan dengan terlebih dahulu membuat sediaan nanoemulsi, yang selanjutnya dibuat menjadi sediaan nanoemulsi gel dengan mendispersikan nanoemulsi ke dalam gel yang telah dibuat dengan bahan aktif dari minyak atsiri cengkeh dan minyak atsiri sereh. Sediaan nanoemulsi gel kemudian dianalisis stabilitas komponen kimianya dengan menggunakan GC-MS. Hasil analisis menggunakan GC-MS diperoleh sediaan nanoemulsi gel yang diformulasikan dari minyak cengkeh dan minyak sereh cukup stabil secara kimia.   Kata Kunci:         sediaan Nanoemulsi Gel, stabilitas Kimia, GC-MS
