Abstract

Incomplete Breech pregnancy is a complication during delivery that impact on fetal and maternal. Type of delivery is not exactly result of improper handling and impact on the growth and development of children after a few years of his birth. The purpose of this study was to describe the development of children with a history of incomplete breech pregnancies in Sidoarjo. This study used an observational study, population was children aged 1-3 years with a history of breech delivery based on data from RS Sidoarjo (2014) is a total of 287 children. A large study sample were 62 children aged 1-3 years. Data development were observed using and KPSP. Results of the study explained that children with a history of breech born have normal development, only 8 children have distorted development. There are many factors that affected children development especially about the stimulation that given by parents. Children with Incomplete Breech pregnancy history culd have normal development if they get good stimulation from their parents.

Abstract

Breastmilk provides all the energy and nutrients that needed by infants during the first 6 months after birth. But the scope of exclusive breastfeeding in Nganjuk still quite low and known that nutritional status problems is still very high. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status of infants aged 6- 12 months in the Polindes Patranrejo Berbek Nganjuk. The design study is correlational with cross sectional approach. Samples are all mothers of infants aged 6-12 months in Polindes Patranrejo Berbek Nganjuk in 2014 were 34 mothers. The independent variable is exclusive breastfeeding, while the dependent variable is the nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months. Data were collected through interviews and observation and then analyzed by Spearman Rank test at α (0.05). The results showed that 19 mothers (55.9%) exclusively breastfed their babies, 24 infants (70.6%) infant nutrition status in the category of normal BB. Spearman Rank test results concluded that there is a relationship of exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months in the Polindes Patranrejo Berbek Nganjuk. Advised health workers to provide counseling and increase KP-ASI program, increasing malnutrition eradication program motion, giving KIE about breastfeeding, breastfeeding technique is correct, lactation management working mothers.

Abstract

The hormonal contraceptive especially injection is the most widely used in Indonesia. Unlike the IUD contraception, although both have side effects that cause anxiety, but the use of IUD is still much lower than the injection. The purpose of this research was to determine differences in the level of anxiety of IUD acceptor with 3 monthly contraceptive injections in facing the side effects of contraceptives in Independent Midwife Practice Ny. T. Tampungrejo Village District of Puri Mojokerto. Research type is observational analytic with cross sectional design. The independent variable is side effects of IUD and 3 monthly injectable contraceptive. Dependent variable is levels of anxiety of IUD acceptor with 3 monthly contraceptive injections in facing the side effects of contraceptives. Population is all IUD acceptors and 3 monthly contraceptive injections which has experienced side effects as much as 91 people and obtained 74 samples by using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were taken using questionnaire on 20-26 May 2014. After being collected, then processed and analyzed using the Mann Whitney U Test. The results showed the majority of IUD respondents have experienced severe anxiety as many as 5 respondents (62,5%) and almost half of the 3 monthly contraceptive injection respondents have experienced moderate anxiety as many as 22 respondents (33,3%). The result of Mann Whitney U Test obtained p value (0,001) < α (0,05), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, there are differences in the level of anxiety of IUD acceptor with 3 monthly contraceptive injections in facing the side effects of contraceptives. IUD acceptors have severe anxiety due to the negative image of IUD and basic education. Conclusion of this research is that there are differences in the level of anxiety of IUD acceptor with 3 monthly contraceptive injections in facing the side effects of contraceptives. Midwives should increase counseling on IUD acceptor with 3 monthly contraceptive injections by providing complete information about side effects and treatment, other types of contraceptive methods if the mother wishes to change to another method of contraception, and also efforts to deal with the anxiety experienced.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) Learning Laboratory Practice Pregnancy Care Prodi D-III Midwifery STIKES Husada Jombang include (a) Laboratory Practice Learning Process; (B) Laboratory Learning Methods; (C) Schedule Settings; (D) Infrastructures; (E) Evaluation and Achievement System. (2) Constraints and How to Resolve. This study used descriptive qualitative approach to explore as much as possible the facts in accordance with the focus of research. Techniques of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation involving program managers, coaches and student education level II Prodi D- III Midwifery STIKES Husada Jombang. Data were analyzed using constant comparison method. The validity of the data obtained by the extension of research time, perseverance observation, continuous engagement, triangulation and reviews of key informants. Triangulation used include triangulation of sources, methods and timing. The results of the study explained that the lesson preparation of midwifery laboratory practice about pregnancy care in Prodi D-III Midwifery STIKES Husada Jombang do several steps: (a) Preparation of schedule based on the syllabus (b) Strategies and Learning Methods using laboratory methods together (d) Evaluation study with response , assessment of affective, cognitive assessment and psychomotor assessment using the checklist. conclusion; In practice assessment, the aspects that include skills, attitudes and mastery of the material to assess indicators of the activities carried out in the laboratory based on the existing competence in the form of a checklist

Abstract

Demonstration Learning is learning that can reinforce theories or knowledge that has been gained by learners, thus providing an opportunity to gain the ability to better attitudes, behavior, knowledge and skills of professional basis (Nursalam, 2007). This study aims to determine (1) Implementation of the demonstrations learning process (2) Constraints and how to cope with (3) and the evaluation results to improve the demonstration learning process normal delivery care competence in the subject of Midwifery Care part 2. This study uses a qualitative method by using case study design and descriptive, which presents a complete description of a phenomenon observed in a real context. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation involving managers, lecturers, and students program at academic year 2011-2012 in Prodi D-III Midwifery STIKES Husada Jombang. Data were analyzed using constant comparison method by using purposive sampling technique. And in this study tested the validity of the data in a way that covers triangulation and source triangulation techniques. The results showed that learning implementation of midwifery care part 2 in STIKes Husada Jombang with enaugh effective method, because a well planned and systematic, but there are some constraints such as lack of motivation and student activity or laziness, lack of time and infrastructure. Lecturers have conducted the evaluation results in a form that is almost the same pretest and posttest. The conclusion of this study is that the achievement of student competency in normal delivery care in STIKES Husada Jombang mostly competent, but there are only few students who have the competence achievement is less, which is caused by several factors including the methods or learning strategies, instructional media and sources of learning materials.

Abstract

Burns are the most severe trauma impact on both physical and psychological. With the limited types of advanced dressings are available in some hospitals, many alternatives were developed based treatment of burns moist (moisture balance dressings alternative) to accelerate wound healing. Non- pharmacological interventions for the treatment of psychological stress with SEFT therapy, the patient's with SEFT therapy will be relaxed and the mind becomes calm. Relaxation created very influential in the healing process. This study aim: To identify the physiological and psychological adaptation response of burn patients were given a combination of alternative SEFT moisture balance dressings and therapies. This research used action research that determine the physiological and psychological adaptation response of burn patients were given a combination of alternative moisture balance and SEFT therapy The sample is the total population that met the inclusion criteria. Result showed that There were 8 respondents (March - June 2014). Most of the 75% of men, aged between 17-51 years, extensive of wound between 6-55% TBSA, 37.5% stage II, stage III 62.5%.Physiological adaptation response with an wound healing indicator average 42.37 (36-49) showed that physiological adaptation response is adaptive, long time recovering the second degree on average 17.6 days (7-36 days), the average grade III 28 , 8 days (20-40 days). Psychological adaptation response with an acceptance score average 44.5 (40-50) and supported by the results of interviews all indicate an adaptive response to psychological adaptation. Conclusion: Psychological and physiological adaptation response following administration of a combination of alternative moisture balance dressings and therapies SEFT are adaptive.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women due to blood thinning occurs more pronounced with increasing age of the pregnancy so that the frequency increases. Anemia during pregnancy causes fetal growth is less than optimal impact on the occurrence of low birth-weight babies. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the incidence of anemia and low birth weight babies in hospitals RA Basoeni Mojokerto. This study uses a case control design. The population in the study were all women deliver in hospitals RA. Basoeni Mojokerto during January to December 2014, as many as 281 respondents, while samples were selected using simple random sampling as many as 56 people. The results showed that pregnant women who are anemic in hospitals RA. Basoeni Mojokerto there are 28 respondents (50%). Respondents in this study most of having a baby of low birth weight by 24 (42.85%). Based on Chi-Square test can be concluded that there is a relationship of anemia in pregnant women with low birth weight babies in hospitals RA.Basoeni Mojokerto year 2014.Oleh pregnant women because it is attentive to the needs / nutrition during pregnancy to the fullest and always meriksakan her pregnancy at least 4 times the health worker or the nearest healthcare.

Abstract

In Indonesia, breast cancer is include second ranks after cervical cancer. BSC (breast self check) is one of the way to detect breast cancer first. In Puskesmas Kemlagi at April 15 2015 majority of 24 respondents (54.2%) did not practice BSC (breast self check), while the purpose of this study is to identify women's attitudes about first detect of breast cancer with BSC practice (check your own breast. This research was an descriptive study, with a population in this study were all women of reproductive age in the age of 15-49 years in Puskesmas Kemlagi Mojokerto which amounted to 926 persons. Samples in this study was part of reproductive age women in the age of 15-49 years in Puskesmas Kemlagi Mojokerto which amounted to 280 persons. The sampling technique with probability sampling techniques with cluster random sampling type. This research was done on June 3 to June 28, 2015. The results from this research were obtained from 280 respondents who have negative attitude about first detect of breast cancer is about 146 respondents (52.1).The conclusion from this research that the reproductive age women’s have negative attitudes about first detect of breast cancer. Because of that it is expected of health workers can provide information about breast cancer and the dangers in order to change women’s attitudes about first detect of breast cancer with BSC practice (check your own breasts).

Abstract

Stop having sex but no medical reason is a mistake, because bagia important than support one another is the way you have sex. In a preliminary study on Poly RS Bhayangkara Watukosek show that 1 out of 10 women are not sexual intercourse during pregnancy until the third trimester because of fear. This can be caused by a lack of information about sex during pregnancy, especially pregnancy. Factors that may affect such physiological changes of pregnancy and psychological factors, such as fear of hurting the fetus or fear due to infection due to rupture.This study used a descriptive research design with accidental sampling technique. The sample of this research is all primigravida who were 40 respondents to the instrument in this study was a questionnaire.From the results of the study on 40 respondents showed that 25 respondents have a positive perception were 15 respondents had a negative perception.The amount of the percentage of positive perception primigravida against sexual intercourse during the third trimester of pregnancy due to the large majority of respondents have sufficient understanding and knowledge about sexual intercourse during pregnancy, thus affecting the perception changes primigravida
