Abstract

The exponential growth of deep learning networks has enabled us to handle difficult tasks, even in the complex field of medicine with small datasets. In the sphere of treatment, they are particularly significant. To identify brain tumors, this research examines how three deep learning networks are affected by conventional data augmentation methods, including MobileNetV2, VGG19, and DenseNet201. The findings showed that before and after utilizing approaches, picture augmentation schemes significantly affected the networks. The accuracy of MobileNetV2, which was originally 85.33%, was then enhanced to 96.88%. The accuracy of VGG19, which was 77.33%, was then enhanced to 95.31%, and DenseNet201, which was originally 82.66%, was then enhanced to 93.75%. The models' accuracy percentage engagement change is 13.53%, 23.25%, and 23.25%, respectively. Finally, the conclusion showed that applying data augmentation approaches improves performance, producing models far better than those trained from scratch.

Abstract

Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is very good at classifying images. To measure the best CNN architecture, a study must be done against real-case scenarios. Aglaonema, one of the plants with high similarity, is chosen as a test case to compare CNN architecture. In this study, a classification process was carried out on five classes of Aglaonema imagery by comparing five architectures from the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method: LeNet, AlexNet, VGG16, Inception V3, and ResNet50. The total dataset used is 500 image data, with the distribution of training data by 80% and test data by 20%. The segmentation process is performed using the Grabcut algorithm by separating the foreground and background. To build a model for CNN architecture using Google Colab and Google Drive storage. The results of the tests carried out on five classes of Aglaonema images obtained the best accuracy, precision, and recall results on the Inception V3 architecture with values of 92.8%, 93%, and 92.8%. The CNN architecture has the highest level of accuracy in classifying aglaonema plant types based on images. This study seeks to close research gaps, contribute to the field of research, and serve as a platform for primary prevention research.

Abstract

In this present paper, we consider some features of the states of one-dimensional photonic crystals. Form the numerical results performed by transfer matrix method in periodic multilayer structure made of titanium dioxide and tellurium material, it is found that the structure possesses a photonic band gap it was determined that the structure has a photonic band gap in the borderline visible and infrared spectral region. Our predictions were in good agreement with the photonic bandgap tuning. Our simple model can also predict and explain the effect of incidence angle and wavelength and number of layers on the photonic bandgap. We expect such structures to play an important role in micromechanical tunable optical sensors and filters.

Abstract

Proxmox has a feature that can build a private network in it. Each host on a private network on Proxmox generally shares physical resources, including network connections using a virtual network, one of which is a VLAN. The Proxmox server supports Open VSwitch as a virtual switch. Open virtual switch, an alternative virtual switch quite popular among cloud developers, can be a solution for managing traffic between Virtual Machins and external communications. The method used in this study is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). After applying the automation engine using Ansible, it overcame the problem, namely speeding up configuration and reducing human error or errors in configuring virtual networks. The automation system can speed up the virtual network management process compared to the manual method based on 5 (five) experiments, namely when the manufacturing operation has an average time of 08 minutes and 42 seconds faster. Whereas when the addition operation has an average faster time of 08 minutes 17 seconds. On the other hand, when the deletion operation has an average time of 42 seconds faster.

Abstract

Lampung University does routine activities every new academic year for students, especially for new students college in the Faculty of Engineering, Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB), one of the main agendas of PKKMB is introducing every building and public facilities in Civil Engineering, also every building and the room in it. The current state of the COVID-19 pandemic makes the University of Lampung conduct learning activities by network (online). The area and number of buildings' public facilities will be an issue for new students and visitors since it takes longer to find information, explore, and understand the layout of the building environment. To address these issues, there is a need for technology that fulfills the requirements of information, efficiency, and new methods in introducing a building to visitors. These problems are expected to be resolved by developing a virtual 3D map application for Building A, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Building B the architectural engineering. The Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method was used to develop this application. The application testing in this research uses two types of testing namely Alpha and Beta testing with a black box scheme. Alpha testing results show that the app is compatible with Android OS 8.1 to 11.1 and smartphones with 5.45 to 6.4-inch displays. It requires at least 4GB to 8GB RAM According to the Beta Testing the application resulted in an outstanding 90.2% satisfaction rate. It can be concluded that the virtual 3D map application for Dean's Office Building A and Architecture Engineering Building B of the Faculty of Engineering at Lampung University functions effectively and is rated as "Very Good" based on the established criteria and index.

Abstract

The Consumer Price Index is one of the indicators used to confirm financial success in inflation management. This study aims to help determine the CPI prediction value in Indonesia for the next twelve periods in a month using the ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) method using the data from January 2015 to March 2022. The results obtained show that the best model that can be used for forecasting is the ARIMA model (2,1,2) with drift with Akaike's Information Criterion (AIC) values of 2190.84. The results of Indonesia's accurate CPI forecasting can be used to assess inflation management for policymaking in the context of controlling inflation. It can be concluded that Based on the analysis, the optimal ARIMA model for forecasting Indonesia's CPI is ARIMA (2,1,2) with drift, aiding in evaluating inflation management for policymaking

Abstract

Elevating the quality of learning is central to ensuring academic programs align with national standards. One crucial aspect of this process is the semester-based learning planning. Traditionally, the Department of Computer Science orchestrates this planning by creating separate documents for various data points, including courses, CPL (Graduate Learning Outcomes), and CPMK (Course Learning Outcomes), which are then integrated into the RPS (Semester Learning Plan) document each term. This study seeks a solution to enhance the efficiency of such data management through the development of an admin module. The system, designed using the Rapid Test Development (RAD) approach and the Laravel framework, offers a more effective data management solution, subsequently elevating the pedagogical quality of the Department of Computer Science. In conclusion, an integrated approach to data management can make a significant contribution to educational quality. Through this research, the scholarly contribution provided is the introduction of a systematic model in educational data management to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process in higher education institutions
