Abstract

This research is to describe student’s mathematical connection with “folding back” when solving the problem of the similarity between two functions. The research method uses a fixed comparison method. Subjects at this research is students who experienced folding back when solving two similarity problems. Data is the form of solving the problem and the results of the interview related to the settlement. Based on the results of the data analysis it was concluded: first, student’s folding back from the level of understanding of formalising about the similarity of two functions to the level of understanding image making and connecting it with rational functions and linear functions. Students recognize the connection between the similarity of two functions with rational functions and linear functions but do not understand the interconnection of mathematical ideas and construct each other to produce a unity. Second, students remain at the level of understanding image making, recognizing the similarity between the two functions based on the form of function but not based on the similarity of definitions of two functions. Third, students can move from the level of understanding image making to the level of observing understanding to be able to distinguish two functions f and g because of invocative intervention. Students succees in making a connection between the similarity of two functions with the function value and understanding the concept of the similarity of two functions to be able to distinguish between the two functions f and g. Abstract

The jigsaw type cooperative learning model is a learning model that focuses on student group work in the form of small groups. The purpose of the study was to determine the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning that affects student learning activeness and the obstacles faced in the study of moral aqeedah. This research is a classroom action research that lasts two cycles. Overall, the results of the study that lasted two cycles showed that learning using the cooperative model of the jigsaw type in Aqidah Akhlak learning could increase student learning activeness by 87.5%. Student response. the implementation of the cooperative model of the jigsaw type is very positive. The results of this study indicate that the application of the cooperative type jigsaw model can increase student learning activeness and get a very positive response from students with a value range of 3.50. So, the teacher can apply the cooperative model of the jigsaw type in the learning of Aqidah Akhlak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve students’ reading ability through RSBI (reading Strategy Based Instruction) method. After implementing the strategies in three meetings, test was administered, and the result of the test was 67 which was below the criteria of success, so that the next cycle is needed. On the second cycle some steps are revised, such as time of applying the strategies is more than time of lecturing. The result of the second test was 78 so that the research can be stopped in the second cycle Since it was classroom action research (CAR), further researchers could conducted experimental as research design so they could compare the effectiveness RSBI with another media. Or conduct similar study by different population, grade or, skill.

Abstract

This study aims to describe psychomotor ability and student response to learning through cooperative learning model by using PhET simulation Circuit Construction kit and simple practicum tool on the subject of direct current circuit. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The subject of this research is Physics Education 2nd semester of Faculty of Education Science Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah. Measurement of learning outcomes psychomotor domain using performance tests or action tests. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Measurement of learning outcomes psychomotor domain using performance tests or action tests. Technique data collection used in this research is a technique observation with data sheets of observation skill psychomotor and response students to learning. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that the psychomotor ability of students who taught using simple practicum tools is better than PhET simulation. It appears that students taught using PhET simulations and simple practicum tools (APS) for the average moving aspect (80-89%) are categorized very well. The communicating aspect is categorized as excellent (81-85%) for the use of APS while for PhET simulation is good (75-80%). The aspect of creating overall is a good category with an average score (76-80%). Whereas student's response to learning using simple practice simulation tool categorized well with the average percentage of 82% for learning using simple practicum tools compared with using PhET simulation (good category with the average percentage of 81%).

Abstract

Observasi awal di Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Tambakberas Jombang, diketahui bahwa mahasiswa PAI mengalami gejala kesulitan belajar pada mata kuliah B. Arab yang ditunjukkan dengan 61% mahasiswa PAI tidak tuntas dalam UAS gasal 2018/2019. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah faktor-fator apa yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar mahasiswa PAI pada mata kuliah B. Arabdi Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Tambakberas Jombang Tahun Akademik 2018/2019. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar mahasiswa PAI pada mata kuliah B. Arab di Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Tambakberas Jombang Tahun Akademik 2018/2019. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa PAI Semester satu kelas reguler A, B dan C Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Tambakberas Jombang Tahun Akademik 2018/2019 yang tidak tuntas dalam UAS gasal sebanyak 76 mahasiswa. Sampel diambil sebanyak 35 mahasiswa PAI dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Variabel penelitian yang digunakan adalah kemampuan analitik, asosiatif, eksploratif dan elaboratif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwamahasiswa PAI mengalami kesulitan pada kemampuan analitik, asosiatif, eksploratif dan elaboratif yang menyebabkan mahasiswa PAI mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar B. Arab.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan pengembangan multimedia interaktif yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung siswa kelas VI penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Borg dan Gall meliputi tahapan sebagai berikut a) research and information collecting b) planning c) develop preliminary from of product d) preliminary field testing e) main product revision f) main field testing g) operastional product revision h) operational field testing i) final product revision dan j) dissemination and implementation, namun pada penelitian ini dibatasi sampai sembilan tahap, tahap dissemination and implementation tidak dilakukan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan model. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) uji kelayakan ahli media yang mendapatkan skor 4,53 (sangat baik),(2) uji kelayakan ahli materi yang mendapatkan skor 4,13 (baik) dan (3) uji kelayakan pengguna yang mendapatkan skor 4,26 (baik) untuk uji coba lapangan awal, 4,21 (sangat baik) untuk uji coba lapangan utama, dan 4, 30 (baik) untuk uji coba lapangan operasional.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to know effectiveness of learning packaging oriented on mini laboratory implemented uses Cooperative Learning at Senior Hight School Ngoro Jombang. This research used trial design one group pretest-posttest design with quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the result of data analysis, obtained some following result: a) student learning result is 80,6% complete in cognitive competence and 100% in psicomotor, very good in afective competences, b) the students have positive respons in their interest of learning process, c) the quality level of lesson plan done is high and obstacles that occur in teaching are the number of group members is too large. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that learning packaging oriented on mini laboratory implemented uses cooperative learning is effective on the topic of Fungi, but adjustable with the situaton and condition of the school, specifically equipments of the laboratory. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran berorientasi Lab Mini yang diimplementasikan melalui pembelajaran kooperatif di SMA Ngoro Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain uji coba penelitian menggunakan one group pretest –posttest design dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh beberapa hal sebagai berikut: a) hasil belajar siswa 80,6% tuntas untuk kompetensi kognitif, 100% untuk kompetensi psikomotor serta sangat baik untuk kompetensi afektif, b) siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap ketertarikannya pada proses pembelajaran, c) hambatan ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung adalah jumlah anggota kelompok terlalu banyak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berorientasi Lab Mini yang diimplementasikan melalui pembelajaran kooperatif efektif pada materi Fungi, tetapi disesuaikan dengan situasi dan kondisi sekolah khususnya pada tersedianya alat-alat laboratorium. . Abstract

Concept of proportions is essential for many educational topics. However, many students find it difficult to solve problems on proportion. The students often find it hard to determine an appropriate reasoning to be used in a certain situation, whether they should use absolute or relative thinking. Therefore, we need to design learnig activities that support the development of students’ relative thinking in solving problems on proportions. Due of that, we designed learning activities involving contextual problems which are based on the tenets of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). The result of this study shows that contextual problems may promote students’ relative thinking in solving problems on proportion. Keywords: Relative thinking; Contextual problems; Proportion.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Zaenal, Arifin, Machnunah Ani Zulfah, Nilai - nilai pendidikan karakter dalam Surat Al-An’am Ayat 151 – 153 menurut Quraish Shihab dalam tafsir Al-Misbah dan implementasinya di sekolah. Artikel ini membahas tentang pendidikan karakter surat Al-An’am ayat 151-153 dalam tafsir Al-Misbah. Kajiannya dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya degradasi moral dan arus globalisasi. Banyak kita temui pengabaian nilai – nilai pendidikan karakter. Padahal masalah pendidikan karakter tidak bisa dianggap remeh, karena merupakan kunci perubahan individu, sosial, atau kesejahteraan dan kebahagiaan hakiki. Di samping itu kajian ini juga dimaksudkan untuk menjawab permasalahan: apa saja nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam Tafsir Al- Misbah Q.S Al-Anām ayat 151-153, dan bagaimana penerapan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter tersebut dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam di indonesia. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari artikel ini yaitu, dalam tafsir Al-Misbah Surat Al-An’am ayat 151-153 mengandung sepuluh wasiat Allah. Yaitu: Larangan Berbuat Syirik, Berbakti kepada orang tua, Larangan membunuh anak karena miskin, Larangan mendekati zina, Larangan membunuh tanpa alasan yang benar, Larangan mendekati harta anak yatim, Perintah menyempurnakan timbangan, Perintah berkata jujur. Perintah, menepati janji, Perintah taqwa. Serta mengandung nilai nilai pendidikan karakter Takwa, Kasih sayang Tanggung jawab, Cinta damai, Peduli sosial, Amanah, Berkata jujur, dan berbuat adil. Adapun implementasi nilai nilai pendidikan karakter dalam Surat Al-An’am ayat 151-153 dengan pendidikan kekinian adalah dengan mengintregasikan di dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dilaksanakan mulai dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi pembelajaran pada semua mata pelajaran. Abstract

This article aims to describe materials existing in structure and written expression in ITP TOEFL test and parts which are difficult for students when they answer the questions and it explains why they make some errors in answering the questions too. TOEFL books, questionnaire, and interview became the data source of this research. This research randomly took 30 students who had finished their TOEFL preparation class as the subject. The results of this research are that there are nine materials that must be mastered by students in mastering structure and written section; 1) sentence 2) Subject and verb agreement, 3) noun, 4) verb form, 5) dependent clauses, 6) coordinate conjunction, 7) inversion, 8) comparison degree, 9) word order, and the three most difficult parts are subject verb agreement, dependent clauses, and inversion. The common mistake done in answering questions is that they are not careful enough with the sentence’s structure and they have not known some uncommon structure yet, especially in inversion and dependent clauses (reducing, omitting, and abridgment)
