Abstract

Extracting book metadata by retyping the identity of the book, such as the author's name, book title, publisher, and several other identities, is a routine that is carried out repeatedly at the Polewali Mandar district library, this activity takes much of time, using several staff and it turns out that this activity has much potential for input errors. Errors in extracting book metadata will result in errors in the book repository system database, resulting in difficulty finding and using books or book data information. This problem can be solved by creating a book metadata extraction system using image processing technology and OCR. This study aims to design a scanner technology to extract book metadata. Accuracy is carried out in 2 stages, the first validation of image extraction results using the ROC method and the second validation by directly matching the result of extracting the book's metadata with the actual book. The results of this study indicate that the system has worked with an accuracy of 98.78% with an average detection time of 1.49 seconds and has succeeded in presenting the extraction results on the website page. Thus the metadata extraction system with the OCR method can be applied to libraries to input book data.

Abstract

Bagidata is a people analytics platform that provides various data analysis solutions for Human Resource Management. Bagidata develops and maintains an application for creating candidate profiles using SCRUM and Agile. However, there are still many obstacles in the SCRUM and Agile processes in developing this application, such as all documentation being done manually with Microsoft Excel and separated, the inability to monitor the process, the and lack of an integrated platform for team members to share work and make documentation. Therefore, a system is needed to facilitate application development and become an integrated platform for application work, monitoring, and web-based documentation. This study uses object-oriented methodology or OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design), and the data collection method is through observation, interviews, and literature review. This web-based application uses Javascript programming language, PostgreSQL database, and Visual Studio Code as tools, as well as UML modeling with 4 design diagrams, namely a use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and class diagram. The results of this study are expected to enable the product owner and development team to monitor the development process, organize task allocation among team developers, and provide an integrated platform for documentation, thus improving the candidate profiling application development process.

Abstract

The Adiraku application is considered to be able to facilitate and facilitate customers so that there is no need to come to the branch office to get information related to the number of installments that must be paid, due dates, credit simulations, and Adira Finance information offers to customers. A large number of reviews from users received makes it difficult for developers to read them, it will take too much time and effort if they have to read and analyze them manually. To find out which reviews are classified as positive or negative reviews. need a sentiment analysis of the review. This study aims to find out how the opinions or opinions of its users on the services of the application, by analyzing these sentiments through a classification process using two algorithms, namely Support Vector Machine and Naïve Bayes. The data used amounted to 2000 data obtained from Google Playstore. Data is labeled into 2 classes namely positive class and negative. Furthermore, the data is divided into 70% training data and 30% testing data and methods used for testing using Bernoulli Naïve Bayes and Linear Kernel. It was concluded that the number of user reviews of the Adiraku application on the Google Play Store showed more positive comments, amounting to 1412 positive and negative reviews, which was 588 reviews. The Support Vector Machine algorithm performs better by getting the best accuracy value of 96%, while the Naïve Bayes algorithm gets an accuracy value of 85%.

Abstract

Voice recognition is an applied technique in the field of digital signal processing that has been widely used, such as technology in the field of telecommunications which is now able to provide data transmission services not only text but can also serve data transmission using voice. Speech recognition studies to date have only focused on human speech recognition, so it is important to develop research on speech recognition in animals. In this research a speech recognition system will be developed for balenggek, pelung and bekisar ornamental chickens using the Delphi 7 programming language and the weiertrass transform method. The performance evaluation measurement of the speech recognition system in this study uses two parameters, namely the detection rate and the false positive rate. The results showed that the speech recognition system for ornamental chickens using the weierstrass transform method had an average detection rate of 83.00% and an average false positive rate of 16%.

Abstract

The brand with high value is called brand equity. Companies must strive to build brand equity to ensure the sustainability and growth of their business and products. The problem in RT.05 Cimone is the absence of QoS data from Internet Service Providers (ISPs) Indihome and FirstMedia circulating in the area, so the public who have not installed WLAN networks cannot determine which ISP has the best quality between Indihome and FirstMedia, which may affect their daily activities such as work from home and online classes. The data collection method used in this study was reviewing various literature such as books, journals, and other bibliographical studies. The analysis showed that the building elements for ISP brand equity between Indihome and FirstMedia were better for FirstMedia than Indihome, with a QoS inequality of service parameter of 3.75 during normal hours and 4 during busy times hours, while Indihome scored 3.5 during normal hours and 3.75 during busy hours. This research aims to identify the results and values of each QoS parameter and network brand equity in ISP Indihome and FirstMedia, and indirectly, the public can determine which ISP has good quality according to their needs.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a pandemic that is currently sweeping the world, where the number of infected victims has reached millions. The sudden outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has caused unprepared communities to panic and worry, although there are also those who are indifferent or unconcerned about this contagious disease, which is a major factor in the rapid spread of the virus. This study aims to build a system to predict the vulnerability of users to contracting Covid-19 through an expert system application. The expert system method uses forward chaining to determine the user's vulnerability level based on factors used and inputted by the user. The large number of patients who still do not believe in the existence of Covid-19 and the spread of hoax news complicates the handling of Covid-19. With an expert system that predicts vulnerability to contracting the Covid-19 virus as a tool, it can increase awareness among low-awareness communities and reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Abstract

The need for information is very high in the current 4.0 era, every organization needs fast, accurate and detailed information. Currently there is documentation at the Indonesian Medical Council Secretariat regarding knowledge on how to handle employee problems which can help the employee's own performance so that it has an impact on secretariat activities that feel ineffective. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, there is a lot of important knowledge at the Indonesian Medical Council Secretariat whose function is to support activities in Health Institutions. The methodology used in this research is to use Beccera Fernandez which was developed by Beccera and Sabherwal. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, literature study, while the Knowledge Management System implementation used the Knowledge Management Process, and the KMS design used the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The programming languages used in building the system are PHP and MySQL. The concept of knowledge sharing among employees was applied as a result of a study conducted at the Indonesian Medical Council Secretariat. This is implemented on the website so that individual employee knowledge is not simply lost.

Abstract

The professional organization of the Indonesian Aeronautical Information Management Association always tries to increase the motivation of its members. One of INAIMA's work programs to make this happen is to elect the AIS Officer of The Year. In practice, the selection of AIS Officer of the Year is still carried out by collecting data manually without using a system so that it takes longer time to process the data. Furthermore, the results obtained from the election are also not objective because there is no method of calculating the criteria for evaluating candidates, so a decision support system is needed that can provide objective election results and is able to speed up the evaluation process. The method used in designing this decision support system is the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) where the stages include planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. ). The calculation of the weight value of the criteria and alternatives on the system uses the AHP-TOPSIS method. The result is a web-based decision support system that is able to provide a more precise and objective assessment of candidates.

Abstract

Testing an application is an important thing to do in software development. However, there are some tests that are sometimes missed after application development has been completed, such as performance testing. Performance testing is a type of test to ensure software will work properly under the expected workload. When performance testing is important to ensure that the functional needs of the system are running well. To ensure that the business objectives of the system are satisfactory and according to user needs can be done using Black Box Method. After ensuring the final results meet the specifications of the system needs, performance testing can be carried out. In performance testing, a load and stress testing methods are used to test the system, so as to be able to validate system performance are correct and determine the operating capacity of the system, with load limit at the break threshold and above the break threshold. This test is carried out to help determine how software can act well when accessed by several users together with a lot of data. This study conduct analyze the behavior of the system in the server environment that currently running and then optimize the configuration of the service and server to achieve concurrent users with 500 users at a time with jmeter as a performance test tools.
