Abstract

Based on data from the Palu City Health Office regarding the visits of toddlers to posyandu, Mamboro is in the 3rd position with a percentage of 73.33%. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the frequency of visits to the Posyandu in West Mamboro, the working area of ​​the Mamboro Community Health Center. This type of research is analytic with a cross-sectional design. Sampling was done by taking data at the health center, with a total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by direct interviews using a questionnaire. Data analysis used the chi-square test with a value of α = 0.05. The results showed that the frequency of active visits to posyandu was 72.4%. The percentage of unemployed and active workers at the posyandu was 58.7% (p value = 0.225;> 0.05). The percentage of good and active knowledge at the posyandu was 29.0%. The percentage of good family motivation makes mothers under five active to posyandu 62.3% (p-value = 1,000;> 0.05). The percentage of good performance of health workers makes mothers under five active to posyandu 57.9%. The percentage of good cadre performance makes mothers under five active to posyandu 56.5%. The conclusion is that there is an influence between work and the frequency of visits, there is no influence between knowledge, family motivation, the performance of health workers, and performance of cadres with the frequency of visits to posyandu.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy can increase the risk of low birth weight babies, miscarriage, birth prematurely, the risk of bleeding before and/or during delivery which can cause death to mother and baby. This study aims to know the correlation between consumption of food sources of iron and intake of iron tablets on anemia cases in pregnant women at Bulili Public Health Center. This type of research is analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 39 pregnant women. The data were obtained from interviews and checking hemoglobin levels. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test. The results showed that consumption food sources of iron at Bulili Public Health Center in the rare category (51,3%), intake of iron tablets in the low category (51,3%), and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women (48,7%). While the correlation between consumption food sources of iron (ρ-value= 0,037) and intake of iron tablets (ρ-value= 0,001) on anemia cases in pregnant women at Bulili Public Health Center. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the consumption of food sources of iron and the intake of iron tablets on anemia cases in pregnant women at Bulili Public Health Center.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that requires a standardized nutritional care process (NCP). This is because hypertension can become an advanced and chronic disease that has a serious impact on the health of the body, causing complications. This study aims to perform NCP on hypertensive patients in the Seroja Pavilion class II UPT. Undata Hospital Palu. This study is a review of research with a case study approach (Case Study), with samples 1, and was diagnosed with Hypertensive Heart Disease (HHD). The data collected were anthropometry (weight and height), food intake, food habits, client history, socio-culture, biochemical examination results, and physical/clinical examination. The data collection technique is obtained from primary data which is collected directly from the patient and the patient's family, and secondary data is obtained through the patient's medical record. The results showed an increase in the patient's food intake, namely 88.0% energy, 113.4% protein, 48.3% fat, and 95.5% carbohydrates, no change in body weight, and an increase in nutritional knowledge. Diagnoses at the start of the study included NI-2.1, NI-5.4, NC-2.2, NB-1.1 until at the end of the study being N-2.1 and NI-5.4. The interventions given included Low Salt Diet III, soft food form, 3 times main meal frequency, 2x interlude, with oral route. In conclusion, there were changes in intake, physical/clinical as well as knowledge/attitudes of patients on hypertension that had been given NCP.

Abstract

Gastrointestinal diseases and several other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) together cause as much as 30% of deaths. This study aims to conduct a case study of PAGT in dyspeptic patients at the Seroja Pavilion Class III UPT RSUD Undata Palu. This study is a case study with a sample of 1 dyspepsia patient. The data collected were data on eating habits, food intake, anthropometry, as well as the results of biochemical and clinical/physical examinations. Data collection techniques used primary data (data obtained from measurements and interviews) and secondary data (data collected from hospital reports and patient medical records). The results of this study were that the patient's food intake increased from <60% to 80%, the nutritional status of the patient was still thin (no change), normal HGB from 8.9 mg/dL to 11.9 mg/dL. Clinical/physical normal, complaints reduced, knowledge about nutrition and gastric diet increased, the patient began to try to change eating habits to become regular. Initial diagnoses were NI-2.1, NC-4.1, and NB-1.1, at the end of treatment the remaining diagnoses were NC-4.1 and there were no new nutritional diagnoses. The conclusion of this study is the initial assessment of the patient's nutritional intake deficit, poor nutritional status, low Hb, and complaints of nausea and abdominal pain. The final diagnosis was NC-1.4. The nutritional interventions provided were Gastric Diet II and nutrition education. The results of monitoring and evaluation of patients experienced many good changes in food intake as well as knowledge and behavior. There was no reassessment of the patient.

Abstract

Mother's knowledge about feeding and developing stunting toddlers in Sigi Regency is not widely known. The purpose of this study was to determine the mother's knowledge about child feeding and the development of stunting toddlers aged 24-59 months in the working area of ​​the Kamaipura Public Health Center, Tanambulava District. This research is descriptive research in the form of a survey, conducted in April - May 2021, in five villages located in Tanambulava District. The population in this study were all stunting toddlers aged 24-59 months totaling 45 people. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, by directly interviewing mothers of children under five about the knowledge of child feeding using a questionnaire and measuring the development of stunting under five with a pre-screening development questionnaire according to the age group. Data analysis used univariate analysis. The results showed that the mother's knowledge about child feeding was still not good at 57.8%. Meanwhile, the results of measuring the development of stunting toddlers are in the dubious category of 62.2%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the knowledge possessed by mothers of toddlers about child feeding is classified as poor, and the development of stunting toddlers is categorized as dubious. Suggestions are expected for nutritionists or midwives to provide feeding practices counseling to mothers of toddlers and to conduct developmental counseling to mothers of stunting toddlers.
