Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of communication variables, motivation and work discipline, on employee performance variables of PT. Seven Surabaya Jaya in Sidoarjo, partially or simultaneously. The method used is quantitative and data obtained from this study from the distribution of questionnaires given to 52 employees, which are then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis that is processed with SPSS version 26. The results of the F test indicate that the variables of communication, motivation and discipline work has a significant effect on employee performance jointly or simultaneously. While the results of the t test show that the variables of communication, motivation and work discipline affect the performance of employees individually or partially. From the results of this study it is recommended that companies pay more attention to communication between employees, pay more attention to providing motivation to employees and remind employees about the regulations in the company.

Abstract

This study discusses the production house purchase investment analysis and machine at Rahayu UD in Surabaya in terms of the financial aspect. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the proposed investments made Rahayu UD provides the benefits or otherwise making it feasible to run or not. The data used is primary data (interview with the parties can provide information for this study) and secondary data obtained from the study of literature. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The analysis method used is the investment eligibility criteria consisting ofNet Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP) and Profitability Index (PI) as a method of investment appraisal of the financial aspects. The results showed PP for 1.8 years, then declared eligible for faster compared with a target return on investment. NPV is positive at 300 281 359 to be eligible for a positive outcome. PI 1,283 to be eligible for a value greater than 1. And 15.932% IRR to be eligible for more than the required rate. So the investment plan Rahayu UD declared "WORTH" is executed.

Abstract

PT PLN (Persero) ULP Banyumas is one of the work areas of PT PLN (Persero) UID Jawa Tengah dan DIY. One of the challenge in PLN Banyumas is bill arrears. Electricity bill arrears can result in income being not smooth. The cause of arrears in the PLN Banyumas especially the general category is the culture of the customer, many of the customers pay the electricity bill accumulatively and wait to be billed by the termination officer. There are also other causes, namely termination officers who have not been consistent in applying the rules. Handling the problem regarding arrears is formulated the cause and the selection of solutions that can be done using Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS). The results of the RCPS analysis in several solutions that could be done to reduce arrears, namely optimization of the implementation of power termination, timely billing and socialization of payment of electricity bills, socialization of replacement to prepaid electricity, and optimization of CMC to termination officers. After the activity has been carried out, there has been an increase in the performance of bills arrears in the general category between quarter 3 and 4 of 2018.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate the inter-relationship among the experiental marketing, customer satisfaction and repurchase intention in the context of restaurant or cafe in Indonesia. A total of three hypotheses will be tested. A quantitave research will be carried out to address the research objective. Purposive sampling technique and the distribution of a total 187 responden will be selected as part of the research methodology specially in customer of Janji Jiwa Jilid 358 Surabaya. The statistical data will be analyzed by SEM-PLS. And the result shows that experiental marketing has positive effect on repurchase intention. Also indicates that the positive effect has been fully mediated by the customer satisfaction of the customer at Janji Jiwa Jilid 358 Surabaya. According to the conclusions, this research provides that sense and feel experiences are positively related to the repurchase intention as well as experiental marketing is positvely related to the customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Haris Jaya Footwear Production is a business that produces sponge slippers located in the Sidoarjo region. In conducting its production activities it is closely related to the supply of raw materials which are important components that must be available for the smooth production process. The purpose of this study is to find out how to stock the raw material of footwear with the EOQ method efficiently, Know the optimal amount of safety stock, and be able to determine the point of re-ordering raw materials (ROP) so that the production process is not obstructed. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that by applying the EOQ method, (1) the total cost of raw material inventory for Haris Jaya Footwear Production when calculated using the EOQ method was IDR 30,342,940, while the Haris Jaya Footwear Production policy was IDR 37,363,478. Cost savings when using the EOQ method is Rp 7,020,538 or can reduce costs by up to 18%. (2) The optimal amount of raw material for Eva sponges is 22 sheets. (3) And reorder when the Eva sponge raw material in the warehouse reaches 45 sheets.

Abstract

Samsung Group is one of the largest electronic companies in the world. Founded by Lee Byung Chull on March 1, 1938 in Daegu, Korea. The company operates in 58 countries including Indonesia. Until now, Samsung has also become one of the biggest brands in the world by releasing smart phones that are in the gadget market market. This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and work productivity through organizational culture on employee performance at Apollo Samsung WTC Surabaya. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. Data collection uses interviews, observation and questionnaire distribution. Using a non probality method with a purposive sampling approach. The population of this research is the Apollo Samsung WTC Surabaya employees with a sample of 90 respondents. The analytical method used is PLS (Partial Least Square). Based on the results of this study concluded that work discipline, work productivity, organizational culture significantly influence employee performance.

Abstract

This study discusses "Dual Roles of Women Workers in the Formal Sector (Case Study on Female Workers Who Leave Children in Day Care "Paradise Baby" South Jakarta)". The aims of this study are (1) to see the role of working women in the formal sector in their families, (2) to find out the problem of the dual role of working mothers, (3) how to overcome the problem of the dual role of working mothers. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method, so that it will get descriptive data in the form of words and behavior in depth. The research subjects are women who have multiple roles and work in the formal sector. Collecting data using the method of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. This research was analyzed using Functional Structural Theory. The results of this study indicate: (1) Working women in carrying out their role at home, namely in raising children by entrusting their children to Day Care, in this case Day Care acts as a substitute family when working women are busy working. Then women workers in carrying out their roles in the formal sector, namely by following the applicable regulations in the workplace and continuing to work according to their demands and professions, (2) The problem faced by the dual role of working mothers is the lack of time for family and society, (3) In overcoming The problem of the dual role of working mothers is that husbands help with housework which can ease the burden on women.

Abstract

Socialization is a process where individuals will learn many things about life before entering the wider community. The first agent of socialization is parents or family. Parents are the first to teach individuals to interact well. When an individual already has enough knowledge about the life of the wider community and can also behave when interacting with other people, it means that the individual has been able to enter into social life. Socialization can be very influential on individual actions if the motivating factor for individuals to take these actions is very large. This paper wants to see how much influence the socialization has on community participation in vaccinating Covid-19 in the East Cilandak sub-district. The purpose of this study was to analyze how much influence socialization had on community participation in the Covid-19 vaccination in the East Cilandak sub-district. This study uses quantitative methods. The research data was obtained from distributing questionnaires to the people who live in the East Cilandak sub-district. Based on data analysis using SPPP, it was concluded that there was a positive or significant effect between socialization and community participation in vaccinating Covid-19 in the East Cilandak sub-district.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the communication strategy of Bensr Radio 106.2 FM Jakarta in building relationships with listeners. The theory used is relationship management theory and social exchange theory. The research approach is qualitative with in-depth interview data collection techniques and literature review of digital documentation. There are 3 resource persons consisting of station managers, broadcasters and listeners. The validity of the data was tested by using triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study illustrate that there are four strategies carried out in fostering relationships with listeners, namely creating fan clubs through social media Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, holding special events, organizing birthday events regularly and maintaining intimacy through broadcaster communication styles and methods.
