Abstract

The buying decision process by consumers is influenced by the motivation or drive within them to fulfill their needs and desires, namely by recognizing needs, seeking information on a product, evaluating alternatives, then deciding to buy until the behavior that occurs post-purchase, so that consumers can achieve satisfaction from their needs and desires. the wish fulfilled. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of consumer motivation in purchasing Lylo Donut products in Pinrang Regency in terms of product quality, service quality and promotion. This study uses a data collection method using a questionnaire with a sample of 90 respondents using purposive sampling method. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis which is processed with SPSS version 21. From the results of the study it is known that product quality, service quality and promotion have a positive influence on consumer motivation. The result of the calculation of the coefficient of determination is 0.423. This shows that product quality, service quality and promotion are able to explain consumer motivation by 42.3%. while the remaining 57.7% is explained by other variables that are not observed. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of product quality, service quality and promotion on consumer motivation in purchasing Lylo Donuts, Pinrang Regency.

Abstract

The study aims 1) to determine the role of farm women the sugar palm production activities in Kassa Village, Batulappa District, Pinrang Regency. 2) to determine the income derived from the sugar palm production activities in Kassa Village, Batulappa District, Pinrang Regency. 3) to determine the income contribution of sugar palm production to total household income in Kassa Village, Batulappa District, Pinrang Regency. The type of data used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The research starts from February to March 2019 in the Kassa Village, Batulappa District, Pinrang Regency. Data collection techniques used were observation and interview, the source of the data used is the primary and secondary data. The data analysis used on this research is quantitative description. The results showed that 1) the results of this study indicate that the level of the role of female farmers in the production of sugar palm in the Kassa Village, Batulappa District, Pinrang Regency in midle category with the persentage of 74%. 2) the average income that farmers earn in the Kassa Village, Batulappa District, Pinrang Regency production activities is Rp 1.712.505, per month. 3) The contributions of sugar palm income to household income is 45,96%.

Abstract

Buttu Sawe Village is one of the villages in Duampanua District, Pinrang Regency, where most of the area is agricultural land. The people in this village carry out agricultural business because from a geographical point of view the area still has a lot of agricultural land. The average ownership of agricultural land by rice farmers in Buttu Sawe Village is less than "partial" or agricultural land with an area of ​​approximately 2,000 m². Lowland rice farming in Buttu Sawe Village is the main sector that is the backbone of people's lives. If the rice crop is disturbed, it is certain that the food security of the community will be disturbed and the level of welfare of farmers will also be disturbed. Welfare of rice farmers can be seen from the ability of farmers to meet the basic needs of their lives and families, such as clothing, food, shelter, health and education. The welfare indicators include population, health and nutrition, education, employment, household consumption and housing. The aims of this study were: 1) To describe the level of welfare of lowland rice farmers in Buttu Sawe Village, Duampanua District, Pinrang Regency and 2) To describe the effect of grain prices on the welfare of lowland rice farmers in Buttu Sawe Village, Duampanua District, Pinrang Regency. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The research sample is 29 respondents who are rice farmers in Buttu Sawe Village. The instrument used in this study was a research questionnaire consisting of several questions regarding the variables studied. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and simple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 16 program. From the results obtained: 1) The welfare level of lowland rice farmers in Buttu Sawe Village, Duampanua District, Pinrang Regency is 100% or all respondents are included as rice farmers. rice fields in the category of prosperous households, and 2) The price of grain has a significant effect on the welfare of rice farmers in Buttu Sawe Village, Duampanua District, Pinrang Regency.

Abstract

Farmers are the main actors in agricultural production activities and are part of the Indonesian people who need to improve their welfare and intelligence. With the extension, it is hoped that all agricultural information that develops can be absorbed and accepted by farmers, the more information that is used by farmers, the more effective the extension will be. This study aims to determine the level of the role of extension workers in the development of farmer groups in Lise Village, Panca Lautang District, Sidrap Regency and to find out whether there is a strong relationship between the role of agricultural extension workers in the development of farmer groups in Lise Village, Panca Lautang District, Sidrap Regency. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is analyzed using the Likert SkalaScale analysis technique. The results showed that the role of agricultural extension workers in the development of farmer groups in Lise Village, Panca Lautang District, Sidrap Regency was classified as high with a value of 75%. This is seen from the role of agricultural instructors in developing farmer groups as facilitators, motivators, and mediators, there is a significant relationship. This shows the high level of the role of agricultural extension workers in the development of farmer groups and there is a significant relationship between the role of agricultural extension workers in the development of farmer groups in Lise Village, Panca Lautang District, Sidrap Regency.

Abstract

This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Sources of data taken obtained from observations, interviews, and questionnaires using 15 respondents. This study uses SWOT analysis as a reference to determine the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats that exist in the company PT Sang Hyang Seri (PERSERO) UBR III Sereang Village, Maritengae District, Sidrap Regency which consists of IFAS and EFAS Matrix, IE Matrix and SWOT Matrix.Based on the results of the research, it is known that PT. Sang Hyang Seri (PERSERO) UBR III Sidrap has produced research by analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist, so that this analysis leads to concerns that should be an opportunity or a strength. So that this research is highly recommended to be reviewed on the developments produced by the company. Looking at the results of research that occurs that there is a quality product that has a high score so that it becomes a reference that it is very feasible to be traded to consumers with a high selling value. Although there are several threats and weaknesses that exist, the opportunities are covered so that immediate action is taken for the sake of increasing this company such as expanding the area, promoting quality rice seeds, increasing employees and increasing the number of rice traders in the area in order to realize an increase in high consumer demand.

Abstract

In Alla District perspective, the highest production increase was dominated by shallots from several existing leading commodities. This was due to the decision of farmers to switch commodities to farming shallots. The decision of farmers to switch farming depends on the awareness of farmers to maximize their farm income. The more farmers who decide to plant shallots, the more production will increase. This study aims to determine: What factors influence the decision making of farmers to do shallot farming (2) What factors are the most influential simultaneously on the decision making of farmers to do shallot farming in Sumillan Village, Alla Subdistrict, Enrekang Regency. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method, because the implementation includes data, analysis and interpretation of the meaning of the data obtained. The data used are primary and secondary data. There were 50 samples in this study and then processed using SPSS 24. Analysis using multiple regression analysis techniques. From the research results obtained: that the variables that influence the decision making of shallot farmers are internal factors with variables income, and capital. While external factors, the variables are selling price. The most influential variable partially is the income variable because it has a hinger T arithmetic value than other variables.

Abstract

The marketing aspect is very important in marketing agricultural products. If the marketing mechanism is good, then all parties involved will benefit. A farm with good productivity will fail if the marketing is not good. Marketing channels have an important role in farmers' lives. Peanut plants are one of the plants that have long been known by the public since ancient times. Until now, the cultivation of peanuts for some residents has been carried out by the Indonesian people. The plant now has promising prospects because it has an economy that can be cultivated. The purpose of this study was to determine the Peanut Marketing Channel in Labuaja Village, Cenrana District, Maros Regency for three months, namely March - June 2022. The types and sources of data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The population of this research are all farmers who cultivate peanuts and traders. The sample of farmers was taken as many as 15 people with simple random sampling method. For traders, it consists of 1 small trader and 1 big trader who is taken intentionally (Purposive). The analysis used is descriptive quantitative data analysis. The results of the research are that there are three marketing channels for Peanuts in Labuaja Village, Cenrana District, Maros Regency, namely: (1) Channel I: Farmers to Consumer Farmers, (2) Channel II: Farmers Wholesale to Consumer and (3) Channel III: Farmers to Wholesalers to Traders Retailers to Consumers. The marketing margin of peanuts in Labuaja Village, Cenrana District, Maros Regency is Rp. 0 on Channel I, Rp. 3,000 on channel II and Rp. 5,000 On Channel III

Abstract

Production and Productivity are the main indicators in farming that affect the income of paddy rice farmers. The availability of irrigation water or rainwater for irrigation in paddy rice farming will affect the use of production inputs. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of production and income of irrigated rice farming and rainfed rice fields in Maros Regency using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of this study show that the production and income of irrigated rice farming is greater than that of rainfed rice fields with a difference in the amount of production of 17,800 kg with a difference in income of Rp. 80,100,000.00.

Abstract

The income of rice farmers is lower because there are still many farmers who do not have farming tools and the very high price of fertilizer seeds makes farmers spend more on sales and costs related to PUAP and after PUA. This research was conducted in Mangeloreng village, Bantimurung sub-district, Maros district, where this research was carried out from January to March 2022. The method used was the proportionate stratified random sampling method, using a total population of 170, 15% were taken, namely 26 farmers.
