Abstract

One of the most strongly related reproductive diseases in obese women is a polycystic ovarian syndrome. PCOS also suffer other comorbidities, such as insulin resistance. This review focus on identifying the metabolic and reproductive effect of diet and exercise in obese PCOS women. We searched for articles published from January 2004 to February 2022 and used electronic databases. We used the purposive sampling method then these articles were selected by inclusion and exclusion criteria. Lifestyle modification programs with an emphasis dietary and exercise interventions have been successful in reducing the risk of comorbidities in the general population and improving reproductive and metabolic features in PCOS. Lifestyle modification should be incorporated in treating obese PCOS patients to reduce their long-term risks for diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular disease and to increase the probability of spontaneous pregnancy. However, the specific guideline for lifestyle modification emphazising in diet and exercise for PCOS patients requires the large size of clinical trial research to find the best type of interventions in lifestyle modifications with the same outcome parameters.

Abstract

Indonesia as a developing country still has nutritional problems, especially pregnancy nutrition. Malnutrition in pregnant women increases the risk of bleeding postpartum. This study was conducted to determine the effect of maternal nutritional status during pregnancy on the incidence of bleeding postpartum at the Bandar Lampung Inpatient Health Center. This research is an observational analytic by design case control. Samples, taken using the technique purposive sampling, divided into 61 cases and 122 controls at the Bandar Lampung Inpatient Health Center. The analysis was carried out using chi square and logistic regression test. The highest proportion of mothers giving birth at the Bandar Lampung Inpatient Health Center were mothers who were not at risk of CED (84.7%) and were not anemic (71.6%). There is a significant effect between the risk of chronic energy deficiency (CED) (p=0.001; OR=8.62) and anemia status (p=0.001; OR=9.54) on the incidence of bleeding postpartum. Anemia status (p=0.001; OR=11.41) is the variable with the strongest relationship to bleeding events postpartum. The highest proportion of mothers giving birth at the Bandar Lampung Inpatient Health Center were mothers who were not at risk of CED and were not anemic. The nutritional status of pregnant women including the risk of CED and anemia status affect the incidence of bleeding postpartum in birthing mothers. Variable with the strongest relationship to bleeding events postpartum is anemia status.

Abstract

Coffee is a popular and much-loved drink in Indonesian society to relieve drowsiness or increase stamina when working. This is because in coffee, there is an active compound, namely caffeine. Although it has benefits, in fact, caffeine will have a negative impact on the body if consumed in excess. The Indonesian National Standard 01-3542-2004 has determined that the limit value of caffeine content in food and beverages is 0.45–2% w/w. This study aimed to determine the caffeine content of packaged coffee sold in the community using a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The results of the analysis showed that 16 of the 20 samples analyzed had caffeine levels in accordance with the provisions of the Indonesian National Standard, while the other 4 samples had caffeine levels above the specified value. Even sample Q has a caffeine content of 7.12% w/w, far above the threshold value. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there are still packaged coffees containing caffeine above the specified threshold value. So, consumers should pay attention to the amount of caffeine consumed so as not to cause a negative impact on their health.

Abstract

A healthcare facility, one of which is a hospital, must practice management more quickly as the environment changes due to global competition. In order to sustain client loyalty and satisfaction, X Hospital must maintain and enhance its services. Companies must devise the best marketing strategy to deal with the challenge of the Service Marketing Mix's influence on consumer purchase decisions. Especially for service marketing (7p) in the form of products, prices, promotions, places, people, processes and physical evidence. The hospital has important medical support, one of which is a laboratory. The laboratory unit has not conducted a service satisfaction survey. Conducting a service survey is crucial as a critical component of medical diagnosis. This is also based on the 2019 X Hospital's first-semester periodic report, 49.95% of patients received laboratory services. This amount fell short of the predetermined goal. Further investigation is required to determine how patient loyalty and satisfaction in the laboratory unit of X Hospital might be impacted by the analysis of marketing mix relationships. This research aims to analyse the relationship between the marketing mix and patient satisfaction and loyalty in the laboratory unit of X Hospital in 2022. The method employed is analytic quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The result of the direct influence value is 0.077 and the indirect effect is 0.556, meaning that the indirect effect value is greater than the direct influence value. The research's conclusion there is a relationship between the marketing mix and customer satisfaction and loyalty at X Hospital's laboratory unit in 2022.

Abstract

Based on the rules from the government contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 2019, the Public Health Center information system can be implemented electronically so that the data obtained can be stored safely. An electronic health center information system must have an application, an internet, and a local network (LAN). This can also support Health Promotion activities through electronic media and online reporting to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. This research aims to apply innovative health education to the problem of low Tuberculosis patient visits. This is done by analyzing a fishbone diagram and determining priority solutions to problems that have resulted in no real follow-up plans (RTL) so that targets have not been met and there has been no evaluation action at the Parongpong Health Center. This activity is carried out in several stages, namely 1) problem analysis with fishbone, 2) USG (urgency, seriousness, growth), and 3) SWOT analysis. Furthermore, counseling was carried out to all people in the Parongpong sub-district. The results obtained from calculating the score using the SWOT analysis are to make regulations on procedures and standard operating procedures (SOP) for the use of the Tuberculosis Information System (SITB) to optimize health information management at the Parongpong Health Center, West Bandung Regency, Indonesia.
