Abstract

Background: Cervical cancer is a disease caused by the growth of uncontrolled cervical epithelial cells. In Indonesia an estimated 15,000 new cases of cervical cancer occur each year, while the death rate is estimated at 7,500 cases per year where 40-45 new cases are found each day with the number of deaths reaching 20-25 people. Therefore, WHO states that Indonesia is among the countries with the highest incidence of cervical cancer in the world with 66% dying. The key to the healing of all types of cancer is early detection, one of them is with Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid.Purpose: identified the knowledge of Women of childbearing age (WUS) about examination of Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid (IVA) at Banjarmasin Indah Health Center.Methods: this research is descriptive research with population that is woman of childbearing age who visited in Poly Health Mother and Child (KIA) Banjarmasin Indah Health Center last three months. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling.Results: The results showed that respondents had plenty knowledge about the examination of visual inspection of acetic acid (63,08%), this result is evidenced by the number of women of childbearing age who are not screened or IVA examinations. Keywords: Knowledge, Visual infection of acetic acid, Women of childbearing age.

Abstract

Background: Among all of acceptor in Martapura sub-district, 91.8% use hormonal contraception. Injection contraception is the most acceptor choose to use, that is bout 55.8%. This contraception is including estrogen and progesterone hormone. Estrogen hormone is really important as long a woman life, beside for sexual function and reproductive, it’s also important to decline the decreasing of cognitive function.Purpose: The aim of this research is to know the correlation between 1 month injection hormonal contraception with cognitive function of acceptor in Tanjung Rema Public Health Center Martapura sub-district Banjar regency.Method: The method used analytic with cross sectional. The subject is hormonal acceptors and collected by purposive sampling.Result: Respondents who used 1 moth injection of hormonal contraception bout 67.6% and non 1 moth injection contraception was bout 32.4%. The total of respondents who has dementia cognitive function was 2.9%, “borderline” dementia was 14.7%, moderate cognitive function was 29.4%, and good cognitive function was 52.9%. Based on statistic test use chi-square test, that was p = 0.008 or less than α = 0.05.Conclusion: Concluded there has significant relation between 1 month injection hormonal contraception with acceptor cognitive function. Suggested that this results can be use for promotion program. Abstract

Background : Disease control is transmitted by mosquitoes are mostly done, one of them the use of insecticide-treated bed nets, mosquito nets coated with mosquito repellent and not harmful to health. The aim of this research is to know the effectiveness of application of insecticide treated mosquito nets in malaria vector control in Tanah Bumbu Regency.Methods :Quantitative research methods, cross sectional design and quasi experiments. Population, the entire population get a mosquito net. Samples, residents willing to take blood, interviewed. Determination of sample behavior and Mass Blood Survey of 100 respondents using purposive sampling.Results: MBS 100 samples, positive 7 respondents 2 org plasmodium vivax, 5 org plasmodium falciparum. The result of the behavior of insecticide treated bed nets (53%) of respondents received and used bed nets and (47%) received and not used. Result of bio essay test 20 mosquito net and 2 control show 5 mosquito net still effective killing An mosquito. Aconitus, with 82,67- 100% mortality, while 15 other bed nets are ineffective.Conclusion : The conclusion is the decrease of malaria case after use of mosquito net with SPR 7%. Recommendation, to forest workers to keep wearing insecticide-treated bed nets, using repellents and taking prophylactic drugs while working in the forest. Keywords: Effectiveness, insecticide-treated nets, Anopheles

Abstract

Background: According to Research and Development Center Health Ecology in 2001, the pattern of maternal deaths in early neonatal infants (newborns - 7 days) is more due to birth asphyxia, 48 per 1,000 live births (33.6%). Based on preliminary study results conducted on December 23, 2016, data that have been obtained by researchers about the number of asphyxia cases at Ansari Saleh General Hospital Banjarmasin in 2016 that is as many as 941 babies and who died as many as 25 caused by asphyxia.Objective: To analyze factors related to the incidence of asphyxia in Ansari Saleh General Hospital Banjarmasin period November 2016 until March 2017.Method: Descriptive Analytical Research with a Cross-Sectional approach. Sampling is 1,251. A sample of 923 infants, taken by Simple Random Sampling technique. Data were analyzed using chi-square testResults: The results of this study showed that there was a correlation between maternal age and asphyxia cases p-value = 0,000, there was a relationship between mother parity with asphyxia p-value = 0,008, no mother preeclampsia relationship with asphyxia p-value = 0,911, there was relationship between maternal anemia incidence of asphyxia p-value = 0,007, there is correlation between per abdominal labor incidence of p-value = 0,002, there is relationship of birth weight with incidence of asphyxia p-value = 0,001Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between age, parity, per abdominal delivery and birth weight and no association between maternal preeclampsia and asphyxia. Keywords: Infant Mortality Rate, Newborn Infant, Early Neonatal Infant, Asphyxia Neonatorum

Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is one cause of death for women. Patients with breast cancer should undergo chemotherapy and chemotherapy treatment may lead to decreased appetite due to chemotherapy substances resulting in increased stomach acid so that patients often experience nausea vomiting resulting in a lack of nutritional intake.Objective: Annalyze Correlation of anxiety levels with decreased appetite in breast cancer patients who perform chemotherapy in Edelwis Room Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin.Method: This type of research used an analytical survey with cross sectional approach. Thepopulation is 121 people who perform chemotherapy in Edelwis Room Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin. The sample in this study is part of the population taken using accidental sampling technique amounted to 30 people who perform chemotherapy in Edelwis Room Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin. Data werecollected using questionnaire method by using Gamma correlation test with significance level 95% (α= 0,05).Result: Most of the respondents were 35 years old (81.8%), high school level as many as 29 people(52.7%), the duration of chemotherapy for 1 year was 25 people (45.5%), Has a severe anxiety levelwith a decrease in appetite weight as much as 16 people (29.1%) and most of the respondents havedecreased appetite weight as much as 114 people (65.5%). The result of analysis with Gamma coefficient test obtained the result that p value = 0,009.Conclusion: There is an anxiety level relationship with decreased appetite in breast cancer patients who perform chemotherapy in Edelwis Room Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin.Keywords: Anxiety, Breast Cancer, Appetite,

Abstract

Background: As it develops, teenagers begin to explore with themselves, the values of their role identity and behavior. Various factors also influence the behavior change of adolescent life both internal factor and external factor. If this is not addressed carefully, adolescents will be increasingly exposed to unhealthy reproductive problems, such as premarital sex that has a good impact, physical impact, psychological impact and psychosocial impact of the teenager.Purpose: This study aims to identify or explore sexual behavior in adolescents, the background of students perform the premarital sexual behavior, information sources used by adolescents to obtain information about premarital sex behavior, knowledge, values and norms, and the role of parents and schools to prevent premarital sex behavior.Method: This research used a qualitative method with the explorative descriptive approach. Sampling was collected by purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The sample of the research were students of SMAN 9 Banjarmasin class XI and XII, Religion Teachers, Counseling Teacher and Parents of teenagers who have conducted premarital sexual behavior.Result: Premarital sex behavior among adolescents is due to various backgrounds. This is influenced by internal factors (lack of adolescent knowledge about reproductive health and sex education) and external factors (lack of parent and school roles in preventing premarital sex behavior, misinformation sources used by adolescents to gain knowledge about reproductive health so that youth obtain information negative about reproductive health and the shift of values and norms about premarital sexual behavior among adolescents).Conclusion: Premarital sex behavior that rampantly occurs in adolescents caused by several reasons or background. Teenagers engage in premarital sexual behavior as a proof or a sign of their affection for their spouses, the expectation of their partner, they are often in the community of their peers so that adolescents follow the values of their peers who consider premarital sex to be common and prevalent during dating. Keywords: Adolescent, Behavior, Knowledge, Premarital, Role of parents

Abstract

Background : Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a malignant disease in blood-forming organs and is the most common type of cancer in children. In Hemato Oncology Room Tulip III A Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin in 2016 there are 88 children with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The phenomenon that occurs is the child feels pain due to side effects of chemotherapy. Emotional support of the family to the child is needed, because the positive feeling or energy provided to make children feel safe, peaceful, and loved, so as to reduce or minimize the pain felt by the child.Objective : To know the relation of emotional support of family with level of pain in child Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia due to chemotherapy in Hemato Oncology Room Tulip III A Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin. Method : This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional design. The research population is family and children Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia who experience pain due to chemotherapy at Hemato Oncology Room Tulip III A Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique that is 30 respondents. Data collection used questionnaire method and observation sheet. Data analysis used Spearman Rank test analysis at α = 0,05.Results : From the 30 respondents who provided emotional support to the acute lymphoblastic leukemia family, 18 respondents (60.0%) often gave emotional support to their families. Level of pain in children Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia due to chemotherapy of 30 respondents / children who showed moderate pain is 19 respondents (63.3%). Spearman Rank correlation coefficient shows 0,380 significance 0,038 with () 0,05.Conclusion : There is a correlation between the emotional support of the family and the level of pain in children Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia due to chemotherapy (p = 0.038). Keywords : Child, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Family Emotional Support, Pain Rate

Abstract

Background: Traumatic Coma Data Bank (TCDB) recorded mortality rates from head injury less than 17 for 100,000 victims outside the hospital and 6 for 10,000 victims taken to hospital. The impact of head injuries provide the more complex of disorders such as impaired neurological function, disability, and death. Primary and secondary damage occurred in 6-12 the first hour against the structure and contents of the physiological anatomik skull. The main factor of survival of the patient with head injury was the value of the GCS and the systolic pressure.Purpose: The research of identified correlation between GCS and systolic pressure with mortality in 12 hours of patient severe head injury. Methods : This prospective study was conducted at The Provincial Hospital Dr. Moewardi in Surakarta with medical record study descriptive correlative crossectional approach and retrospective design. Sample taken with the technique of quota sampling with 50 total sample of respondents. The bivariat analysis used in this research is  Fisher test.Conclusion : There is a relationship between GCS with mortality in 12 hours of severe head injury patient. There was no relationship between systolic blood pressure with mortality in 12 hours of severe head injury patient. Key Words: head injury, severe head injury, mortality of head injured patient, GCS, systolic                                pressure.

Abstract

Background: Long intranatal is one of the causes of maternal mortality. The long Intranatal is classified into 3 phases, long latent phase, long active phase, and Long Intranatal Stage II. Long intranatal stage II causes the maternal mortality of 8% in the world, and 9% in Indonesia.Objective: To identify and Analyze Correlation between maternal anemia, Newborn baby Weight and long intranatal stage II at Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh Hospital Banjarmasin.Methods: The research used an analytical survey with case control approach. Sampling techniques in this research was total sampling. Data was collected by by using checklist and data processing by using chi square test.Results: Chi square test showed that there was a significant relationship between maternal anemia p = 0.000 with OR 18,627, so maternal anemia has more risk than no anemia to have experience long intranatal stage II. Also infant birth weight born p = 0,004  with OR 3,583, so the normal infant birth weight (2500-4000gr) has more risk than 4000 gr to long intranatal stage II.Conclusion: there was a significant correlation between maternal anemia, newborn baby weight and long intranatal stage II.Keywords: Newborn Baby Weight, Maternal,  Anemia, Long Intranatal Stage II o-ansi-language

Abstract

Objective: to identifying relationship of fetal macrosomia malpotition and with premature rupture of membranes at Hospital Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh Banjarmasin.method:This research used a case control approach. The population consists of all delivery mothers at Hospital Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh Banjarmasin in 2016. The sample is 148 delivery mothers. The Data was taken from medical records and Analyzed using Chi-Square at α = 0.05.Result:The result of the research shows that there is a correlation between fetal malpotition with PROM incidence p = 0.004, and there is significant relation between macrosomia with PROM incidence p = 0.028. Among These two variables, macrosomia is the variable that had the most significant relationship with PROM incidence. The values of OR is = 4.985. It means macrosomia 4,985 times more at risk of PROM than Reviews those who did not experience PROM.Conclusion:There is a relationship between fetal macrosomia malpotition and with premature rupture of membranes. routine antenatal care is expected to Prevent the incidence of KPD Keys Word: fetal malpotition, macrosomia, premature rupture of membranes, delivery mother
