Abstract

The development of digital interactive media assisted with adobe flash research is done to describe the result of the development of that media, its appropriateness which is observed based on the subject expert validator, graphics, language, and the responses of the students toward the media. This research is applied on the understanding basic competence of the office communication and applying communication using phone in Indonesia language as learning media for the students of tenth grade of OTKP 1 in YPM 3 Taman Vocational high school on correspondence subject. This thesis uses developments research (R&D) with the 4-D development model which is about 4 steps of research, they are Defining, arranging, developing, and spreading process. However, the subjects of this research are 20 students of tenth graders in YPM 3 Taman vocational high school. The result of this research shows that interactive digital media is absolutely suitable for teaching. It is 97% for material validation feasibility (very good), 97% for graphic feasibility (very good), 98% for language feasibility (excellent). The average of the result is 97,3%, which means excellent. While the result of the students response is 98,8%, which means excellently interpreted. Based on the result, it is concluded that the interactive digital media, assisted with adobe flash, on the correspondence subject is suitable and good for being applied as both a media and learning source for the students in teaching-learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study, 1) to determine the effect of school facilities and infrastructure on student learning outcomes in class XII OTKP in SMK Ketintang Surabaya, 2) to determine the effect of learning motivation on student learning outcomes in class XII OTKP in SMK Ketintang Surabaya, 3) to determine the effect of infrastructure and learning motivation on student learning outcomes in class XII OTKP in SMK Ketintang Surabaya. This research uses quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population in this study amounted to 159 students of class XII OTKP at SMK Ketintang Surabaya. Based on data analysis techniques found there is a significant influence of infrastructure on learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of the t test at X1 significant value of 0.017 <0.05 which means the hypothesis is accepted. The results of this study indicate that it has a significant effect on learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of the T test at X2 significant value of 0.047 <0.05 so that the hypothesis is accepted. Thus the presence of learning motivation in a person is very much needed to improve student learning outcomes. There is an influence of infrastructure and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of class XII students majoring in OTKP at SMK Ketintang Surabaya, which is positive at 61.40%. While the remaining 38.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model of learning in Public Relations and Protocol on learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of class XI OTKP students at SMK Ketintang Surabaya. This type of experimental research uses a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, t-test and gain score. T test results based on the value of student learning outcomes indicate the value of tcount> ttable (2.898>2.005) and the results of t-test based on the value of students' critical thinking skills. Show the value of tcount>ttable (10,554> 2,005). Then the difference (gain score) pre-test and post-test values obtained that tcount> ttable (4.643>2.005). With the difference (gain score) the average value of the pre-test and post-test experimental class 18.036 is greater than the pre-test value of the control class of 10.536. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of problem based learning model of learning on the subject of automation in Public Relations and Protocol management on learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of students in class XI OTKP SMK Ketintang Surabaya.

Abstract

Learning resources is one of the needs in the learning process. To ensure the learning process conducted effectively, learning resources must fulfill requirement of curriculum, such as by using technology to get facilities of access and flexibility in learning. This journal aims to develop learning resources, determine the appropriateness of learning resources, and determine student responses through the development of the Governance Staffing Automation Based on Android and Scientific e-module on Class XI OTKP 2 Odd Semester Material at SMK PGRI 2 Sidoarjo. To carry out these developments, a 4-D research model was used with data collection in the form of material expert validation, language expert validation, graphic expert validation and student responses. The results of the study stated that the e-modules developed in the category were very suitable to be used as learning resources in terms of validations result of material feasibility is 96,57%, language feasibility 95,71%, and feasibility of graphic 92,67%. If averaged, the result of product feasibility obtained a percentage of 94,98%. Then, the student response results obtained score of 94,58%.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a prototype of teaching materials in the form of Scientific Student based Activity Sheet on General Administration Subjects in Class X OTKP Odd Semester involving experts and students to obtain LKPD eligibility as well as student responses regarding LKPD developed. This type of research is a type of research development using the 4D model that is define, design, develop, disseminate but the research conducted by researchers did not reach the disseminate stage because the purpose of this study was to obtain a product prototype and the results of eligibility from experts. The subjects of the study were 20 students of class X OTKP 1ND Lamongan, using questionnaire responses of students while for experts using validation sheets. The results of this study indicate that the Student Activity Sheet which was developed in the subjects of General Administration class X OTKP using 4D models namely define, design, develop, disseminate, however, researchers only reached the develop stage because the purpose of this study was to obtain a product prototype and product viability results. In terms of material, language, and graphic aspects, the total percentage of 88.06% was included in the very feasible category. Each percentage of material experts 84.2% with very decent interpretation criteria, 91% of linguists with very decent interpretation criteria, 89% graphic experts with very decent interpretation criteria. The response results of students get 96.3% with very good criteria. Thus the development of Scientific-based LKPD in General Administration Subjects Class X OTKP obtained results worthy of use in teaching and learning activities in General Administration.

Abstract

Learning media can be used as a support for teaching and learning activities in class. The study was conducted to find out media development, analyze the feasibility of the media, and students' responses to the learning media developed, learning media was developed in office technology subjects in class X OTKP SMKN1 Lamongan. This type of research is R&D in order to create a product. This study adapted the 4-D model by Thiagaran, there are 4 stages, namely the first stage define, the second stage of design, the third stage of develop, the fourth stage of desseminate. Researchers conducted the research until the develop stage because the desseminate was carried out on a broader scale. Data collection instruments in this study consisted of a material & media expert validation questionnaire, and an online student response questionnaire. The validation of the material by the lecturer of the Study Program Office Administration Education Unesa, while the validation of media experts by the multimedia teacher of SMKN 1 Lamongan. The subjects of this interactive learning media were students X OTKP industry and X regular OTKP of SMKN 1 Lamongan, tested on 20 students chosen by random sampling. The results of evaluating the material validator got a percentage of 92% with the category "very strong", then the results of the assessment of the media validator got a percentage of 86% with the category "very strong". The results of the questionnaire responses of students obtained an average percentage of 97% with the category "very strong". Based on the assessment of the material validator, media validator, and student responses, it can be stated interactive learning is feasible to be used as a medium to support learning activities in office technology subjects in SMK Negeri 1 Lamongan.

Abstract

A pocket book is a small sized book , practical and light that contains concise material or information and there are interesting pictures. Because the small size of the pocket book is easy to carry and can be read anywhere. This research aims to describe the process of development pocket books as teaching materials for Public Relations and Protocol class XI OTKP 2 SMKN 1 Bojonegoro. The development that will be used is 4D models development  from Thiagarajan which has been ajusted. The steps that will be done are definine, design, but for the  development and desseminate step will not be done because of the researcher's limitations. The results showed that the process of development a pocket book has several steps for the definition stage: 1) initial analysis which includes analysis initial abilities of students, concept analysis, task analysis and the formulation of learning objectives, 2) the design phase includes designing the material and initial design of the pocket book.

Abstract

This study aims to find an overview of the process of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning models on the subject of automation in public relations and protocol XI OTKP protocol management at SMK Negeri 2 Tuban. This research uses the literature study research method. The results showed that in the learning process subject matter of automation of public relations and protocol management has used a learning model that prioritizes group learning activities to understand the material. Efforts to instill values are given through a cooperative approach, while the type is adjusted to the subject matter approach analyzed by educators and focuses on the use of the cooperative learning model itself with the dominance of the type of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. The learning process of students is by experiencing and not memorizing by constructing the knowledge of the students themselves. Thus creating a class learning process in which student become active participants rather than passive observers, and are responsible for learning.

Abstract

The changes in learning followed by the 2013 curriculum to the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum, learning is required to be student-centered so that students will become more active, think critically, and be able to communicate well. This study aims to describe the use of the Group Investigation learning model in Filing subjects in SMK 1 Lamongan. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects were 3 students of class X OTKP and 2 students of class X OTKP as source triangulation. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study used data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: 1) the division of groups and sub topics carried out by students; 2) students choose to plan assignments in advance by dividing assignments to each group member; 3) students investigate the problem given by analyzing the answers of other group members; 4) students collect all the answers from members of the group and will present it according to the agreement that was made at the beginning of learning; 5) student presentations; 5) students understand learning when they ask and listen to the answers that have been delivered at the time of presentation and afterwards.

Abstract

The study explain the relationship between motivation and employee performance has a positive impact on the quality of public services in the District Office of Buduran in Sidoarjo. The study intends to see the influence of employee motivation and performance positively and significantly on the quality of public services in the District Office of Buduran in Sidoarjo.The focus in this research of the problem in this study is how the influence of employee motivation and performance on the quality of public services in the  District Office of Buduran in Sidoarjo. While the research hypothesis of this study is that motivation and performance have a positive and significant influence on the District Office of Buduran of Sidoarjo.The theory used in this research is theory of excellent service, as it relates to quality of service and the satisfaction of the community. Type of this research is quantitative descriptive. Collection of data used technique of questionnaire. The respondents in this study as much as 397 respondents has criteria age 17 and over, and never doing service at the District Office of Buduran of Sidoarjo. Sampling method used proportional random sampling. To test hypothesis used multiple linear regression with the application software Special Package of Statistical Science (SPSS) 22.0.The observation results state that the effect of motivation on the quality of public services is 55,5% so there is a positive and significant relationship between motivation on the quality of public services in the District Office of Buduran of Sidoarjo. The effect of employee performance on the quality of public services is 52,9%, so there is a positive and significant relationship between the performance of employee on the quality of public service in the District Office of Buduran of Sidoarjo. While the relationship of motivation and performance of employee to the quality of public services is 39,8% and the remaining 60,2% is influence by other variables unknown in this study, so there is a positive and significant relationship between motivation and performance of employee to the quality of public services in District Office of Buduran of Sidoarjo.
