Abstract

Given any neutrosophic ring with unity and a commutatively additive neutrosophic group. Then we can formed a neutrosophic algebraic structure is called a strong neutrosphic module. From the concept of weak neutrosophic module we extend to the concept of strong neutrosophic module. In this paper, also elementary properties of strong neutrosophic module are given.

Abstract

If we have two arbitrary non empty sets  ,then their cartesian product can be constructed. Cartesian products of two sets can be generalized into  number of  sets. It has been found that if the algebraic structure of groups and rings are seen as any set, then the phenomenon of cartesian products of  sets  can be extended to groups and rings. Direct products of groups and rings can be obtained by adding binary operations to the cartesian product. This paper answers the question of whether the direct product phenomenon of groups and rings can also be extended at the  near ring and Smarandache near ring ?. The method in this paper is  by following the method in groups and rings, namely by seen that  near ring and Smarandache near ring  as a set and then build their cartesian products. Next,  the binary operations is adding to the cartesian  products that have been obtained to build the direct product definitions of near ring and near ring Smarandache.

Abstract

One type of general insurance is motor vehicle insurance. Premium pricing of general insurance can be calculated by some methods. In this study, Bayes method will be used. The distribution of claim frequency is Poisson distribution and the distribution of claim severity is Exponential distribution. The premium is calculated by multiplying the expectation of claim frequency and the expectation of claim severity. Based on the historical data analysis using the Bayes method, the highest pure premium of motor vehicle insurance in Indonesia is Hino brand and the lowest pure premium is Honda brand. The result of this premium pricing can be used as a reference for the insurance companies to manage their motor vehicle insurance reserves.

Abstract

Abstract

A torsion module over a principal ideal domain has special properties related to the way how it is decomposed either into primary or cyclic submodules. This paper carries out a special case of such module over the ring of integer, which consists of all matrices with entries from the set of integer modulo n. The result shows that its decomposition depends on the prime factors of n.

Abstract

Option can be defined as a contract between two sides/parties said party one and party two. Party one has the right to buy or sell of stock to party two. Party two can invest by observe the put option price or call option price on a time period in the option contract. Black-Scholes option solution using finite difference method based on forward time central space (FTCS) can be used as the reference for party two in the investment determining. Option price determining by using Black-Scholes was applied on Samsung stock (SSNLF) by using finite difference method FTCS. Daily data of Samsung stock in one year was processed to obtain the volatility of the stock. Then, the call option and put option are calculated by using FTCS method after discretization on the Black-Scholes model. The value of call option was obtained as $1.457695030014260 and the put option value was obtained as $1.476925604670225.

Abstract

This study estimates the level of risk in investing in gold. Value at Risk (VaR) is a method which can be used for calculating the level of risk. There are two distribution approaches used, namely Generalized Extreme Value Distribution (GEV) and Generalized Distribution Pareto (GDP). These two distributions are used because gold data is alleged to have a heavy tail distribution. The study uses secondary data on gold prices with January 2015 to December 2017 period with a total of 876 data. The results obtained indicate that the data return for the gold price has a heavy tail. Estimation results obtained indicate that the VaR value at the 95% confidence level is less than VaR with a 99% confidence level so it can be concluded that the higher the level of risk to be taken, the greater the level of confidence and capital allocation to cover losses taken by investors. The GDP Estimation value gives a greater value than GEV. and the largest VaR value is shown at 4.049%, which means that the maximum loss that may occur in one period ahead is 4.049%.

Abstract

Stiff stochastic differential equations arise in many applications including in the area of biology. In this paper, we present numerical solution of stochastic differential equations representing the Malthus population model and SIS epidemic model, using the improved implicit Milstein method of order one proposed in [6]. The open source programming language SCILAB is used to perform the numerical simulations. Results show that the method is more accurate and stable compared to the implicit Euler method.

Abstract

Let R is a commutative ring with identity and M is a unital R-module. El-bast and Smith (1988) have researched and introduced the multiplication module. Prime submodule has been studied by Ameri (2002). Then Atani and Farzalipour (2007) have extended the prime submodule to weakly prime submodule. Some properties were proved on each paper. This paper will study about characterization of weakly prime submodules.

Abstract

The development of Ring Theory motivates the existence of the development of the Radical Theory of Rings. This condition is motivated since there are rings which have properties other than those owned by the set ring of all integers. These rings are collected so that they fulfill certain properties and they are called radical classes of rings. As the development of science about how to separate the properties of radical classes of rings motivates the existence of supernilpotent radical classes. On the other hand, there exists the concept of graded rings. This concept can be generalized into the Radical Theory of Rings. Thus, the properties of the graded supernilpotent radical classes are very interesting to investigate. In this paper, some graded supernilpotent radical of rings are given and their construction will be described. It follows from this construction that the graded Jacobson radical is a graded supernilpotent radical.
