Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has a direct or indirect impact on MSME customers which makes it difficult for them to fulfill their obligations to Shariah Banks which of course results in problematic financing. Non-performing financing has the potential to disrupt banking performance and financial system stability, which can affect economic growth. The problematic formulation that has the potential to disrupt banking performance and financial system stability that will be discussed in this study is about sharia bank policies towards problematic murabahah financing for MSME customers affected by Covid-19. The research approach used is a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The results of this study are that Shariah Banks in providing murabahah financing restructuring to customers who have difficulty fulfilling their obligations to Shariah Banks due to their business being affected by Covid-19. The policy is completely left to Shariah Banks and is highly dependent on the results of the identification of Shariah Banks on the financial performance of customers or an assessment of business prospects and the capacity to pay for MSMEs affected by Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of income, accountability and transparency in the Cileungsi citizen intention of paying zakat through Kitabisa.com. Population in this research is all Cileungsi citizen with the sample is 400 people. This research uses quantitative method and uses primer data. From this research independent variable income (X1) positively and significantly affect the intention of paying zakat through Kitabisa.com, independent variable accountability (X2) has positively and significantly affected the intention of paying zakat through Kitabisa.com, and the last independent variable transparency (X3) has positively and significantly affected the intention of paying zakat through Kitabisa.com. Simultaneously the results show that the variables of income, accountability and transparency affect interest and affect the interest dependent variable in paying zakat through Kitabisa.com about 46.8%.

Abstract

According to Imam Ghazali there are three aspects of wahdatul ulum including axiology, epistemology and ontology. The halal chain is one thing that must be used as a benchmark for Muslims in consuming various forms of food outside. There are various kinds of reviews that are used as benchmarks so that the food that can be consumed is halal food. This study aims to critically and deeply analyze the implementation of Wahdatul ulum's SCM or Supply Chain Management in Indonesia to create halal products. The writing of this journal is based on a type of qualitative research using a literature review approach. Halal products created based on SCM (Supply Chain Management) Wahdatul ulum are company products that are allowed to be consumed by Muslims. Wahdatul ulum is a unity of knowledge between general science and religious science. According to Imam Ghazali there are three aspects of wahdatul ulum including axiology, epistemology and ontology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts made by Indonesia in fighting for the Indonesian palm oil industry, as well as to describe the political and business motives that are the roots of the emergence of discriminatory resolutions. The method used is a qualitative approach. The object of this research is the policies and strategies in dealing with the black palm oil campaign carried out by the European Union Parliament. The data collection technique used is the Library Research Technique. According to the findings of this study, the European Union's claims are contradictory to the facts. Research demonstrates that the European Union denies a number of facts, focusing instead on Indonesia's errors as a protectionist tool. Indonesia has the right or authority to bring this issue into the realm of international law if the results of this research can be found with certainty and can be legally accounted for.

Abstract

The Old Age Security Program or usually called JHT is a protection program that is held with the aim of ensuring that participants receive cash when entering retirement, experiencing permanent total disability, or death. This study aims to find out what are the requirements that are attached when submitting an old-age security claim, the procedure for claiming an old-age security, the requirements for an old-age security claim, and obstacles or problems that occur during the old-age security claim process. This research was conducted at the BPJS Employment of Medan City branch office. In the research conducted, researchers used qualitative research to obtain results based on data that were searched, collected, processed, and analyzed to confirm the desired results. This study used two data sources, namely primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the payment of claims at BPJST employment of Medan City Branch Office has been maximized, fast in the process, on target, and on time. BPJS employment of Medan Branch Office has fulfilled the concept of fairness of distribution in the payment of claims, so as to provide a better quality of life for its participants. In accordance with the mission of BPJS, that the program aims to ensures the safety and prosperity of all workers and their families.

Abstract

The writing of this article aims to analyze the lack of public knowledge of the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The literature review method with a descriptive qualitative approach is a method applied to this study. A literature review is an approach that discovers, analyses, and interprets all data on a study topic used to answer queries and requests for previous research. The subject of this study is the holy book that explains and explains the challenges of Islamic bank development in Indonesian culture. The results of the research on existing literature will discuss the development of Islamic banking as well as the gap between the theory and practice of understanding society and Indonesian people perspective towards Islamic banks. The findings of the study are expected to show conclusions about the causes of the lack of public understanding of the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Bank Indonesia Syariah Certificates (SBIS), Domestic Interest Rates and Rupiah Exchange Rates on the Indonesian Syariah Stock Index (ISSI) during the 2016 – 2020 period, which obtained as many as 60 data in this study. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling, namely by using saturated sampling, where all members of the population are used as samples. The method used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing by using the EViews version 10 for Windows. The results showed that the data met classical assumptions such as normal distribution data, there was no multicollinearity, no heteroscedasticity and no autocorrelation. From the results of the partial hypothesis, Bank Indonesia Syariah Certificates (SBIS) and Domestic Interest Rates have an influence on the Indonesian Syariah Stock Index (ISSI). Meanwhile, the Rupiah Exchange Rate has a negative effect on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). Based on the results of the hypothesis simultaneously shows that Bank Indonesia Syariah Certificates (SBIS), Domestic Interest Rates and Rupiah Exchange Rates have an influence on the Indonesian Syariah Stock Index (ISSI).

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of murabahah and istishna financing on net income with third party funds as a moderating variable. The population of this study is Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in 2018-2020. The sampling method used was purposive sampling and obtained 3 companies in this sample consisting of Bukopin Syariah Bank, Jabar Banten Syariah Bank, and Muamalat Indonesia Bank. Data analysis in this study used panel data regression analysis using the Eviews 10 software. The results showed that murabahah financing had a positive effect on net income, while istishna financing had no effect on net income. The use of moderating variables of third party funds is able to moderate by weakening the effect of istishna financing on net income while murabahah financing cannot be moderated by third party funds. Simultaneously, murabahah and istishna financing have a positive and significant effect on net income. In this study, the independent variable can affect 40.9316% of net income while 59.0684% is influenced by variations of other variables that are not included in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Rupiah Exchange Rate, BI Rate and Money in Circulation on the Net Asset Value of Islamic Mutual Funds. This research was conducted on Islamic mutual fund companies registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in the period from 2016 to 2020. The sampling technique used in this study was a time series. This study used a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis methods with SPSS version 25 and Microsoft Excel 2010. The results showed that the Rupiah Exchange Rate (Exchange Rate), BI Rate, and Money Supply simultaneously affected the NAV of Islamic Mutual Funds. The results of this study also show that partially the rupiah exchange rate and BI rate do not affect the NAV of Islamic Mutual Funds, and partially the money supply affects the NAV of Islamic Mutual Funds.

Abstract

This research seeks to reveal the relationship between operating costs of operating income, the ratio of capital adequacy and musyarakah financing to the profitability of Islamic/Sharia commercial banks. The independent variables used in this study are operating income operating costs (BOPO), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Musyarakah Financing and the dependent variables used in this study are the profitability value of Islamic commercial banks. The method used in this study is a quantitative method where the data is in the form of a report officially published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). From the results of the processing data, it was discovered that there was a relationship and contribution of independent variables to dependent variables, this was seen from the Coefficient of Determination Test with a value of 66%, hence operating costs of operating income, capital adequacy ratio and musyarakah financing  on profitability is seen from the results of the T test and F test where both have a value of < 0.05, which means that the variables BOPO, Capital Adequacy and Musyarakah  Financing simultaneously or separately have the same results, namely inter-mediated and related.
