Abstract

Implementation of photovoltaics as a renewable energy source is growing rapidly. The cost of implementing photovoltaic is very high therefore it is necessary to control the optimization of the PV. The V-I aspect of solar cells is nonlinear, changing with the intensity of sunlight and the surface temperature of the photovoltaic, causing the output power of the photovoltaic to vary. This research will use the zeta converter as a DC chooper controlled by MPPT based on fuzzy logic controller. Software Power Simulation (PSIM) is used to simulate MPPT. The MPPT fuzzy logic controller will be compared with the MPPT human psychology optimization (HPO). The simulation results show that MPPT fuzzy gets the same accuracy as MPPT HPO and is better than the average accuracy without MPPT which is 99,98%. Then the speed in finding the maximum MPPT fuzzy point gets a better time tracking when compared to the MPPT HPO which is 0,0283 seconds. MPPT fuzzy is able to exceed the maximum power at varying sunlight intensity and temperature.

Abstract

The source of electrical energy to turn on the waterwheel drive in the majority of shrimp ponds is currently still sourced from PLN and backup energy comes from generators. Fossils will continue to decrease and take a long time to be renewed, so to overcome this, a waterwheel is designed with a source of electricity generation from renewable energy in the form of energy from the sun (photovoltaic) combined with electrical energy from PLN and batteries as backup energy . The method of switching electrical energy through the settings of the Arduino controller with input from the input voltage sensor (ZMPT 101B). From the test results of the PV-PLN-Battery hybrid system, the switching process can work well and from the results of the solar panel test it can be seen that there is no significant difference taken with a time difference of 1 (one) hour where when the weather is sunny and cloudy the voltage is higher. The resulting solar panels look stable.

Abstract

The design of this goods separator conveyor aims to replace human labor in separating goods based on color, where the goods separation system is designed using the zelio smart relay (SR3B261BD) as the main controller, the conveyor belts in this system are driven by motor power wondows and are using a color sensor module. (TCS3200) as a color detection sensor which is then separated by a separation arm designed using a DC motor to separate each item according to the predetermined color, namely red, green and blue. The limit switch is used to limit the separation arm. When the goods have been separated, the separating arm will return to the starting position, this process will continue until the next cycle.

Abstract

Control Panel is a equipment that use to regulate and manage Substations instrumentation. On the Control Panel there is a heater which functions is to heat the Control Panel room. If the heater on the control panel is damaged, the temperature humidity on the panel will increase, causing corrosion to occur at the panel terminals which is the beginning of the corona phenomenon. The cause of heater failure is because the heater works continuously to produce heat according to the maximum capacity of the heater. Therefore, based on these problems, a prototype design for a temperature monitoring tool was made on the control panel at the substation. This system can adjust the performance of the two heaters alternately heater 1 for the morning shift and heater 2 for the night shift. In addition, this system can detect damage to the heater by using a temperature sensor and then replace the heater with a heater that is still in good condition. If the temperature detected on the control panel is less than 40 ℃ then both heaters will turn on. When the temperature returns to more than 40 ℃, the heater will turn on only 1.

Abstract

Everyone really needs air in the process of breathing, but they don't know how much ammonia (NH3) is in the air. Therefore it is necessary to monitor ammonia (NH3) levels in the room with an Internet of Think (IoT) based ammonia (NH3) concentration meter with Wemos D1 as a microcontroller and an MQ-137 sensor, with this measuring instrument you can find out the level of ammonia levels ( NH3) in the room in real time using the MQ-137 as an ammonia level sensor (NH3), a programmed Wemos D1 that can process the level of ammonia (NH3) levels in the air. From the experimental results that the MQ 137 sensor can be said to be linear because it gets the results of R2 = 0.9613216, the ammonia gas condition is more than 25 ppm, the buzzer and fan will turn on.

Abstract

Currently there are several tools that can be used for the process of measuring vertical and horizontal distances in one tool, but the process of use is still difficult for the layman to use. The main objective of this final project is to design vertical and horizontal measurement tools with 2 sensors for the horizontal and vertical measurement process into 1 tool only to make it easier for the layman to use as well. This tool is equipped with Incremental rotary encoder as horizontal distance meter, Infrared sensor as vertical distance meter, and seven segment as measurement data viewer by Incremental rotary encoder and Infrared in centimeter(cm)
