Abstract

The continued development of industrial technology at this point that leads to the field of moderninformation technologies so as to facilitate the work of man. The use of electrical energy continues toincrease over time, causing consumers want to know the quality of electrical energy consumed, resultingfrom the demand for electrical energy monitoring needs to be done in this case concerns the quality ofelectric power generated from a mini-hydro power plant (PLTMH). In this study, we will design andsimulate the process parameters of electrical energy to be monitored, in the form of voltage, current,frequency and different phase that will be on all four of these parameters will be used as a reference if thequality of power (power quality) of a plant is good or no. To obtain the data we use multiple sensorsnamely, voltage sensor, current sensor and sensor using a frequency of zero crossing detector. Dataparameters of electrical energy on each sensor node is transmitted wirelessly using XBee RF modules areintegrated with zigbee protocol to the gateway. On the side of the gateway will connect via CDMA andsend packets of data - the data packets to the web database. Consumers can access the data - the data viathe mobile phone network to a web-connected database. On the web will be shown the data - the dataparameter values of the electrical energy. So that consumers can see the parameters of electrical energythat is needed is good or not.

Abstract

To control the speed rotation of DC motor in single quadran as expected can be done by controlling SCRtrigger angle that connected with the armartur, the trigger angle can be generated by using LM324 as opampand comparator. The changes of current (I) on armartur winding to be reference for DC Motor speedrotation. The value of armature current for further used as feedback that connected with resistor (R)which has a very low resistance so that it can generate voltage (IxR) which represents the motor speedrotation. If the motor speed rotation different from speed reference then system will makes adjustments bychanging the trigger angle of SCR so that the motor speed rotation constant.

Abstract

Tracking route (tracert) location on a digital map of Banda Aceh can facilitate newcomers who want tofind a final destination when compared with asking others it will be a waste of time and also notnecessarily get detailed information that location. The purpose of making this application to make it easierto give location information and displays a line that will be passed. Using this application by selecting amenu that is available and choose a location that will be in the lead, and also after selecting it will go intothe destination location information. This application running on Android smartphones that can displaydigital maps and line of destination location via Google Map which is connected with a GPS smartphone.The information that is given is expected to allow users to know the location will be in the lead and isprogressing well

Abstract

The wireless communication technology is grow up very fast and varied. The transmission equipment, andantenna will be effected by it. At this time many applications work in frequency band 0.3 GHz - 3.0 GHz,such as television, GSM, CDMA, and WiMAX. However, its used one-antenna for one technology. So weneed an antenna that can solve this problem, the Hexacula omnidirectional antenna will created to solvethis problem. After measured in laboratorium of microwave and in environment of ITTelkom, operatingfrequency 736.2 MHz-3000Mhz in VSWR≤1.5 and 600MHz-3000MHz in VSWR ≤2.0, Omnidirectional,Ellips Polarization, gain 6,353±1,428 dBi and the average impedance is 52.00821+j8.46. The result ofmeasurement already achieve the specification except operating frequency and polarization. If want toachieve the oprating frequency as the specification, suggestion are make a smaller slice in upper stripsfrom 2mm to 0.1mmand make conic higher than before that is from 3.1cm to 5.0cm. If want to achieve thepolarization as the specification, suggestion are use the pencil beam antenna when measure thepolarization and dielectric size must be match with width strips.

Abstract

Implementation of photovoltaics as a renewable energy source is growing rapidly. The cost of implementing photovoltaic is very high therefore it is necessary to control the optimization of the PV. The V-I aspect of solar cells is nonlinear, changing with the intensity of sunlight and the surface temperature of the photovoltaic, causing the output power of the photovoltaic to vary. This research will use the zeta converter as a DC chooper controlled by MPPT based on fuzzy logic controller. Software Power Simulation (PSIM) is used to simulate MPPT. The MPPT fuzzy logic controller will be compared with the MPPT human psychology optimization (HPO). The simulation results show that MPPT fuzzy gets the same accuracy as MPPT HPO and is better than the average accuracy without MPPT which is 99,98%. Then the speed in finding the maximum MPPT fuzzy point gets a better time tracking when compared to the MPPT HPO which is 0,0283 seconds. MPPT fuzzy is able to exceed the maximum power at varying sunlight intensity and temperature.

Abstract

The source of electrical energy to turn on the waterwheel drive in the majority of shrimp ponds is currently still sourced from PLN and backup energy comes from generators. Fossils will continue to decrease and take a long time to be renewed, so to overcome this, a waterwheel is designed with a source of electricity generation from renewable energy in the form of energy from the sun (photovoltaic) combined with electrical energy from PLN and batteries as backup energy . The method of switching electrical energy through the settings of the Arduino controller with input from the input voltage sensor (ZMPT 101B). From the test results of the PV-PLN-Battery hybrid system, the switching process can work well and from the results of the solar panel test it can be seen that there is no significant difference taken with a time difference of 1 (one) hour where when the weather is sunny and cloudy the voltage is higher. The resulting solar panels look stable.

Abstract

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is not only serves as a smart relay or just on and off the system but also provided an analog input so that the PLC can changes in input voltage levels. PLC also has a serial communication between PLC coupling with other devices. Level analog voltage input has a voltage rating of 0-10 Volt will be converted by the ADC (analog digital converter) to the PLC, and the subsequent response of the ADC program created in the PLC will affect the results output. This reseach was made for monitoring levels of 0-10 Volt input voltage that come from the PLC. ADC control is made will be downloaded to the PLC. PLC will be communicated with the Raspberry Pi which is installed embedded linux-based operating system via Modbus communications, thus controlling which previously via PLC can be taken over by the Raspberry Pi. This research also made for monitoring the working of the system, because the Raspberry Pi was be equipped by wireless that will be used for communication to a PC (personal computer) without using cables. the results of this research is a wireless PC can monitor changes 0-10 Volt analog voltage, the output response on the PLC and PLC output can be controlled in accordance with the desired system

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi khususnya dalam bidang permesinan dan elektronika telah membawa perubahan besar dalam tatanan kehidupan manusia, seperti untuk menciptakan suatu proses pengerjaan yang cepat untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk. Saat ini di lingkungan kita sendiri bahkan juga pemerintah sedang gencar – gencarnya melakukan pembangunan maka oleh karena itu mungkin dapat membantu memenuhi kebutuhan pada sektor tersebut. Penulis menciptakan Alat Interlocking Brick System. Alat ini dikendalikan melalui sebuah panel kontrol dengan memanfaatkan sistem hidrolik. alat ini dapat berkerja dengan dua mode sistem kerja yaitu sistem kerja manual menggunakan hand valve dan juga sistem kerja dengan menggunakan tombol serta di lengkapi dengan satu tombol emergency yang berguna untuk meng-non aktifkan semua sistem kerja alat serta sebagai pengaman apabila terjadi kecalakaan kerja. Untuk melakukan proses pembuatan batu bata interlocking brick system ini menggunakan mould (cetakan) yang sesuai dengan jenis batu bata tersebut yaitu menggunakan mould interlocking brick system, Untuk melakukan proses pencetakan interlocking brick system penggerakannya menggunakan sistem aktuator hidrolik. Hasil dari alat Interlocking Brick System ini diharapkan dapat mencetak intercking brick system dengan baik.

Abstract

Water hyacinth is one of the agricultural commodities that contain elements of lignocellulose so that a potential raw material in the manufacture of composite materials because growth is relatively fast and very easy to obtain. The purpose of this study is to make a fine powder composite specimen water hyacinth 10%, 20% and 30%, and find the value of the mechanical characteristics of the composite specimen fine powder of water hyacinth to perform tensile strength using testing standard ASTM D638M-84. Specimens were made with the simplest method (hand lay up). Furthermore, the composite was left for approximately 24 hours so that the results are as expected. From the tensile test results obtained by the value of the average voltage 14.987 KPa, average of 3.804 strain, and modulus of elasticity average 442.8 KPa. It is known that the higher the percentage of the fine powder of the resin, the higher value of tensile strength and modulus of elasticity.

Abstract

Based on emerging DHF cases occur various solutions for the prevention and control of the transmission of dengue, one of them is to create a mathematical model. The Mathematical model that was developed is a SIR (Susceptible (S), Infected (I) and recovered (R)),, where the rate of displacement of latent mosquitoes become infected mosquito is assumed constant and healthy mosquito eggs produced by infected mosquitoes and susceptible mosquitoes, while the mosquito is infected eggs produced only by infected mosquitoes. In the SIR model, an analysis is performed to assess the stability of the equilibrium point and numerical simulations. Numeric simulation was introduced to show the stability at the equilibrium state considered basic reproduction number ℛ0 .There are two equilibrium points. The first equilibrium point is a the disease-free equilibrium which is stable, ℛ0<1. The second equilibrium point is called an endemic equilibrium, which is stable, ℛ0>1. The numerical simulations show that increasing mosquitoes mortality rate makes ℛ0, infected human, latent mosquito, infected mosquito, infected egg are decrease, so as to help suppress the spread of the disease in the population.
