Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job stress (X1), compensation (X2) and job satisfaction (X3) as independent variables either partially or simultaneously toward turnover intention (Y) as the dependent variable on contract employees of PT. Gagah Satria Manunggal Banjarmasin. The method of this research used a questionnaire with 45 contract employees of PT. GSM Banjarmasin as the samples and they were selected from population of 54 employees. The variables were measured using Likert scale technique with a weight scale from 1 to 5. To analyze the variables X1, X2, X3 to Y, statistical technique of multiple linear regression analysis was used, and to test the significance rate, F test was used, and t test was processed with the SPSS software application program. The results of the research concluded that there was a positive significant influence from each independent variable toward the dependent variable. From the three independent variables, job stress had a dominant influence compared with two other independent variables. And there was a significant simultaneously influence from the three independent variables towards the employee’s turnover intention.

Abstract

This research investigated to analyze performance of the stock through the measurement of initial returns, abnormal returns, outperformed or underperformed of stock returns in the short-term (1 month and 3 months) and in the long-term (24 months), and to test of significance differences of the stock performance in the short-term with the long-term. The purposive sampling method is used to obtain the sample and there are 71 companies was conducted to make an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period of 2010 - 2012. The research method are descriptive and comparative analysis using historical data. Statistical test using a one sample t-test and paired sample t-test. The results showed that the company stocks had under-pricing that investors obtain positive initial returns, the short-term abnormal returns tend to decrease, while the abnormal returns in the long-term is fluctuate. Performance of stock had outperformed in the short-term and in the long-term. The results also showed that performance of stock in the companies that do an IPO in 2010-2012 in both of the short-term and in the long-term are significantly different. There was significant difference performance of stock in the short-term with in the long-term in the Indonesian IPOs during the period.

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out: (1) the influence of the job satisfaction on the work performance, (2) the influence of salary satisfaction on the work performance, (3) the influence of promotion opportunities on work performance, (4) the influence of supervision on work performance, (5) the influence of co-workers/colleagues on work performance , and (6) the influence of the job satisfaction, salary, promotion opportunities, supervision, co- workers/colleagues on work performance of the officer/civil servants at Dinas Pendapatan Daerah (Local Revenue Office) of South Kalimantan Province either partially or simultaneously. The analysis unit of this research is the entire staff of civil servants at Dinas Pendapatan Daerah (Local Revenue Office) of South Kalimantan Province, excluding the civil servants as well as part-time workers of the Unit Pelayanan Pendapatan Daerah (Service Unit of Local Revenue). The samples of this research are taken through census or saturated sampling method in which all population of the research which consisting of 88 employees are taken as the sample of this research. The data of this research are collected by using questionnaires, namely by providing a list of direct questions to the respondents. The variables of the research are measured through Likert scale. The data are then analyzed by using SPPS multiple linear regression analysis technique. The result of individual parameter sifnificance test (t-test) shows that (i) there is positive or significant influence of job satisfaction on work performance, (ii) there is positive or significant influence of salary satisfaction on works performance, (iii) there is positive or significant influence of promotion-opportunity satisfaction on works performance, (iv) there is positive or significant influence of supervision satisfaction on works performance, (v) there is positive or significant influence of co-workers/colleagues satisfaction on works performance. Additionally, the result of simultaneous test (F-test) shows that the score of F- value is greater than the score of F-table, with the confidence level at 95%. This means that there is simultaneous positive or significant influence of job satisfaction, salary satisfaction, promotion-opportunities satisfaction, supervision satisfaction dimension, and co- workers/colleagues satisfaction on work performance of the civil servants at Dinas Pendapatan Daerah (Local Revenue Office) of South Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

The lowering of coal price and the uncertainty of world oil prices affect the high operational costs of coal enterprises. The Continuous lowering of coal prices causes financial distress. Financial distress is defined as financial condition before the bankcruptcy.The purpose of this research are to predict and compare the financial distress among the models of Altman, Springate and Ohlson at coal mining company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2008 - 2014. This type of research is included in a comparative. The population are the coal companies financial statements listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2008-2014. The sampling with used purposive sampling which acquired 7 companies. Data analysis used Altman, Springate and Ohlson’s models. The hypothesis is tested Kruskal-Wallis test. The results of research showed that Springate’s model has better accuracy than Altman model and Ohlson model. Results hypothesis testing with the Kruskal-Wallis test concluded there were no differences among the financial distress the model Altman, Springate and Ohlson models at coal mining companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2008-2014.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to describe and to analyze the Y Generation and Adoption of Internet Banking on bank customers in Indonesia using TAM model. The results of this study showed that the variables of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use had a positive and significant correlation directly towards the attitude in using perceived usefulness, and also had a positive influence and directly towards the actual usage while perceived ease of use does not affect actual usage. Attitude towards using has a positive and significant correlation directly towards the actual usage

Abstract

Batik is a cultural heritage of Indonesia and this has been recognized by the Organization of Education, Science and Culture of the United Nations (UNESCO), in which UNESCO recognized batik as a world cultural heritage from Indonesia. In Sidoarjo which is supporting the city of Surabaya, turned out to have the highest number of SMEs. Various Small and Medium Enterprises, crafts and culinary thousands spread over 18 districts in Sidoarjo. One of the crafts that are typical of that Batik Sidoarjo Sidoarjo. In Sidoarjo, there is a village of SMEs. batik craftsmen called Kampoeng Batik Jetis. The purpose of this study was to determine what strategy do UKM.Pengerajin Batik in Kampung Jetis Sidoarjo batik Jetis in marketing and also to know what the most effective strategies that do UKM.Pengerajin batik Write in the village Jetis Sidoarjo in marketing Jetis batik. The type of research is explanatory research (explanatory research) that explain the causal relationship between the variables through hypothesis testing. While the expected outcomes of this research is to contribute to science and the development of marketing concepts and materials expected to be used as a reference for further research or faculty beginners, especially those interested in doing research on the strategy of SMEs (small and medium enterprises).

Abstract

This Research is to analyze the effect of Intellectual Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), and Spiritual Quotient (SQ) to the employee performance of Inspectorate South Kalimantan Province. All of The employee are involved as the samples, 81. Data are the perception of the employee regarding the variables. Technique of analysis is using multiple linear regression. Tests involved are Model Test (F), t Test, and classic Assumption test. Significant Test is connected to pvalue. The results show that (1) Intellectual Quotient (IQ) is influencing insignificantly to the employee performance; (2) Emotional Quotient (EQ) is influencing insignificantly to the employee performance; (3) Spiritual Quotie nt (SQ) is influencing significantly to the employee performance. The results also indicate that such effects need further research. Variables should be considered are attitude, operating standar and Technology.
