Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of role conflict and stress on the affective commitment of female employees with social support as a moderating variable in Bank X in Banjarmasin. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were all female employees of the Bank X in Banjarmasin. The sampling technique used is a saturation sampling technique. Data collection uses a Likert scale scale questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis techniques with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study concludes that there is a significant negative effect of role conflict on affective commitment  and there is a significant negative effect of stress on affective commitment. Other findings indicate that social support is able to act as a moderating variable on the influence of role conflict and stress on organizational affective commitment

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to determinate and analyze the influence of organizational culture “Basic Attitudes KLIK-Honest” (exogenous) as an independent variable on employee performance (endogenous) as the dependent variable in the Office of Supervision and Service of Customs and Excise Type B Banjarmasin. This research method use a questionnaire with 105 employees in the Office of Supervision and Service of Customs and Excise Type B Banjarmasin as respondents. The Measurement of variables used a Likert Scale with a weight scale from 1 to 5. To determine the effect of exogenous variables on endogenous variables, this study used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analysis using AMOS 22.00. The results of the study concluded that there was a positive and significant influence of exogenous variables on endogenous variable, that the Organizational Culture of “Basic Attitudes KLIK-Honest” had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance in the Office of Supervision and Service of Customs and Excise Type B Banjarmasin

Abstract

This paper argues the importance of an exploratory study prior to hypotheses testing in any causal-effect or explanatory predictive behavioral research. It proposes a stage of eliciting salient factors using a framework from theory of planned behavior. The paper opted for an exploratory study by firstly examining 12 academic research of online shopping behavior in Indonesia.  Secondly, using the open-ended questions given to 30 respondents, the paper explored reasons respondents shop or not shop online. Those immediate responses were documented and termed as salient factors.  Thirdly, the salient factors were then combined with foregone factors based on literature reviews.  The final set of factors was chosen as predictive variables in order to provide more accurate potential antecedents for predicting and explaining online shopping behavior. The paper provides sound and practical guidance in eliciting salient factors and formulating a final set of factors in causal-effect/explanatory predictive behavioral research on online shopping behavior.  It suggests that academic research should place importance on the stage of eliciting salient factors. Foregone factors are used to strengthen the choice of predictive variables.  Both salient and foregone factors are necessary for the final set of factors in such online shopping behavior studies. The paper includes implications for the online vendors and government agencies to promote e-commerce. This paper fulfils a need to conduct exploratory study on online shopping behavior to understand such phenomenon of high internet penetration yet low rate of online buying behavior by focusing on salient factors of the studies.

Abstract

Tujuan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) adalah memberikan pengetahuan sekaligus pelatihan tentang tata cara jasa keuangan Syariah berbasis margin serta membantu para ibu rumah tangga untuk berwirausaha menjual produk makanan dalam rangka membantu ekonomi rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah (penyuluhan), pelatihan, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) serta pendampingan kepada peserta. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini juga menyisihkan sebagian dana pengabdian sebesar 2 juta rupiah dalam bentuk barang peralatan memasak untuk diserahkan ke pihak mitra yang membentuk perkumpulan ekonomi Syariah. Tujuannya agar dana tersebut dapat digunakan untuk memulai usaha pinjam dana Syariah secara akad jual beli berbasis margin. Indikator keberhasilan dalam jangka pendek terlihat dari keaktifan pengurus perkumpulan ekonomi Syariah dalam kegiatan FGD dan bertanya tentang teknis pelaksanaan jasa keuangan berbasis Syariah kepada pihak tim pengabdian. Indikator keberhasilan dalam jangka panjang akan dapat diukur dalam beberapa tahun ke depan seiring dengan aktivitas koperasi Syariah.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the variables of E-Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Positive Word-of-Mouth use of Bank Kalsel mobile during the Covid 19 pandemic.  The data analysis method for 97 customers in this study was Partial Least Square- Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).  The results showed that (1) E-Service Quality did not affect Positive Word-of-Mouth; (2) E-Service Quality affected Customer Satisfaction; (3) Customer Satisfaction affected Positive Word-of-Mouth; (4) E-Service Quality affected Positive Word-of-Mouth through Customer Satisfaction as an intervening variable.  This study proved that the mediation variable Customer Satisfaction played a very important role and bridging the influence of the quality of mobile banking services with the intention of customers to conduct positive word-of-mouth communication about the bank's services.  The implication is that no matter how good the quality of mobile banking services is perceived by bank management when customers do not feel satisfied, the positive word-of-mouth desired by banks from their customers will never be realized.  Bank Kalsel management needs to periodically pay attention to and evaluate the quality of E-Service Quality, especially in terms of Efficiency, System availability, Fulfillment and Privacy.  These factors have the value that affects Customer Satisfaction and Positive Word-of-Mouth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on student satisfaction, the influence of service quality on student motivation, the influence of service quality on student loyalty, and analyzing the mediation of student satisfaction on the influence of service quality to student's motivation and loyalty. This research is a quantitative research. This research method used questionnaire with 157 students of Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin Level II Diploma III program and has been selected from Population 260 students. Measurement of variables using Likert Scale technique. Data analysis used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of the research shows that service quality has an effect on student satisfaction, student motivation and student loyalty, but student's satisfaction has no direct effect to student's motivation and loyalty and does not mediate the influence of good service quality to student's motivation and loyalty.

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out: (1) the influence of the job satisfaction on the work performance, (2) the influence of salary satisfaction on the work performance, (3) the influence of promotion opportunities on work performance, (4) the influence of supervision on work performance, (5) the influence of co-workers/colleagues on work performance , and (6) the influence of the job satisfaction, salary, promotion opportunities, supervision, co- workers/colleagues on work performance of the officer/civil servants at Dinas Pendapatan Daerah (Local Revenue Office) of South Kalimantan Province either partially or simultaneously. The analysis unit of this research is the entire staff of civil servants at Dinas Pendapatan Daerah (Local Revenue Office) of South Kalimantan Province, excluding the civil servants as well as part-time workers of the Unit Pelayanan Pendapatan Daerah (Service Unit of Local Revenue). The samples of this research are taken through census or saturated sampling method in which all population of the research which consisting of 88 employees are taken as the sample of this research. The data of this research are collected by using questionnaires, namely by providing a list of direct questions to the respondents. The variables of the research are measured through Likert scale. The data are then analyzed by using SPPS multiple linear regression analysis technique. The result of individual parameter sifnificance test (t-test) shows that (i) there is positive or significant influence of job satisfaction on work performance, (ii) there is positive or significant influence of salary satisfaction on works performance, (iii) there is positive or significant influence of promotion-opportunity satisfaction on works performance, (iv) there is positive or significant influence of supervision satisfaction on works performance, (v) there is positive or significant influence of co-workers/colleagues satisfaction on works performance. Additionally, the result of simultaneous test (F-test) shows that the score of F- value is greater than the score of F-table, with the confidence level at 95%. This means that there is simultaneous positive or significant influence of job satisfaction, salary satisfaction, promotion-opportunities satisfaction, supervision satisfaction dimension, and co- workers/colleagues satisfaction on work performance of the civil servants at Dinas Pendapatan Daerah (Local Revenue Office) of South Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of employees participation in the training of PLN Corporate University (X) as the exogenous variable toward competence (Y1) and employees performance (Y2) as the endogenous variable at PLN Corporate University Udiklat Banjarbaru. The method of this research used descriptive quantitative research by distributing questionnaires to 120 employees who have followed the training. The samples were chosen by using accidental sampling. The variable measurement technique used Likert scale with weight scale from 1 to 5. In order to find out the effects of variable X to variable Y1 and Y2, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used as an analytical technique. The result of research concluded that (1) there was a positive and significant influence of the exogenous variable (X) on the endogenous variables (Y1 and Y2); (2) PLN employees participation in Corporate University training (X) influences the competences of employees (Y1) by 43,6%, which has a direct influence on the performance of employees by 33% and has the indirct effects by 15,7%; (3) the competence variable (Y1) influences the employees performance by 36,1%.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the influence financial compensation and non financial compensation as an independentvariable to job satisfaction as intervening variable and the impact to turnover intention as dependen variable of on duty sailors at PT. Maritim Barito Perkasa ships. Research instruments used questionnaire and Likert’sScale as variable measurement on 250 sailors as a sampleas to the characteristic of sailors who were on duty on board from 307 sailors work at PT. Maritim Barito Perkasa. Effect of finansial compensation and non finansial compensation will be tested to job satisfaction and tested the direct effect financial compensation, non financial compensation and job satisfaction to turnover intention as a dependen variable, and tested indirect effect finansial compensation and non financial compensation as variable independentto turnover intention as variable dependent through job satisfaction as intervening variable used Path Analysis on IBM SPSS versi 21 programme. The result of the research concludes that thefinancial compensation and non financial compensation has apositif impact and significantto the job satisfaction. Finansial compensation has negatif significant impact, non financial compensation has negatif not significantimpact and job satisfaction has negatif significantimpact to turnover intention. Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable decrease the effect of financial compensation into the turnover intention, and increase the effect of non financial compensation to turnover intention
