Jurnal Riset Agama is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research on Religious and socio-cultural studies. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with Religious studies using an interdisciplinary perspective, especially within Islamic Theology and its related teachings resources. The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the syarah of hadith related to other diseases from an Islamic perspective. This study uses a qualitative method that emphasizes literature study through the takhrij and syarah hadith methods with contemporary analysis. The results of the research and discussion show that the quality status of the hadith about other diseases is considered authentic based on the takhrij hadith. And the syarah hadith explains that this ain disease is very dangerous for people who are affected by it, therefore the way to cure it is by ruqyah syar'iyyah therapy. The conclusion of this study is that ruqyah syar'iyyah therapy is permissible and has a shari'a basis as well as prayers and remembrance that are used as incantations that can heal people affected by other diseases, trance and the like. Because with this therapy we can protect ourselves through readings or mantras that are read for people affected by the disorder.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss halal and haram in food from the perspective of hadith. This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study by applying content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include general views of halal and haram, hadith about halal and haram, and how to distinguish halal and haram food. The conclusion of this study shows that in Islam halal food is food that is allowed to be done, used, or cultivated and free from various things that are harmful or prohibited. While haram food is not allowed or prohibited to be used for food ingredients that are prohibited to be carried out or used either because of the substance in it or how to get it.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hadith regarding the virtues of ablution water as facial beauty through the application of takhrij and syarah hadith studies. This research method uses a qualitative approach through literature study related to contemporary analysis. The results of this study found that the hadith about the virtue of ablution as facial beauty is authentic in terms of sanad and matan. The discussion of this research is that on the Day of Resurrection, the people of the Prophet Muhammad. will be presented with a radiant face because of the remnants of the ablution water. The conclusion of this study is that cleanliness, chastity, and beauty can be maintained by carrying out ablution seriously without having to bother looking for and buying the right beauty products for the face. This research is expected to provide special benefits for women in the contemporary era.]]>

<![CDATA[Mahabah which is the peak of sufism becomes a proper study considering that contemporary life today often makes sense more than the real God. The purpose of this study is to explore how the reflection of the mahabah when viewed from the perspective of a contemporary sufi, Buya Nursamad Kamba. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative with a library research approach. The results showed that the point of view taken by Buya Nursamad Kamba in perceiving mahabah is by focusing on the concept of Muhammad’s personality by elaborating and integrating the value of love for Allah in every aspect of life. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of this study is Buya Nursamad Kamba's view of the concept of mahabah is very unique and adapts to the development of the times in this contemporary era.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hadith about reading the Qur'an as a model of meditation in an effort to calm the soul during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is classified as a qualitative research type that uses literature study by applying the takhrij and syarah hadith methods. The analytical method used in this research is contemporary analysis. The results of the study indicate that the hadith about reading the Qur'an as a model of tafakkur is valid in terms of sanad and matan according to takhrij reviews. As for the syarah of the hadith, it shows that tafakkur through reading the holy verses of the Qur'an will apparently add a sense of mahabbah to Allah SWT. This love for Allah SWT will also be developed again by reflecting on the attributes and names of Allah SWT and accompanied by good deeds. This thing will increase the faith of a human being so it will give birth a peace in the soul. The conclusion of this study is that tafakkur by reading the Qur'an can also be a medium for spiritual healing for mental problems caused by the Covid-19 virus, although reading the Qur'an is not the only way to achieve peace of mind. Further research is needed on this matter, this research also recommends the collaboration of hadith experts, tafsor experts and also psychotherapy tasawwuf experts to explore studies on tafakkur by reading the Qur'an as an effort to calm the soul.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this paper is to discuss the hadith about the obligation to study. This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study and content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include a general view of the obligation to study, hadith about the obligation to study, and how to study ethics. This study concludes that the hadith regarding the obligation to seek knowledge explains that seeking knowledge is one of the most important parts of human life, without knowledge humans will not be able to develop. Seeking knowledge is also considered as a starting point in growing awareness in attitude. Seeking knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim male and female Muslim. When Allah has sent down an obligatory command on something, then we must obey it.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss cupping therapy for the treatment of high blood pressure sufferers. This study uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes literature study through the takhrij and syarah hadith methods with contemporary analysis. The results of this study indicate that the quality status of the hadith regarding cupping therapy for treatment for patients with high blood pressure is considered authentic based on the takhrij hadith. Syarah hadith shows that cupping therapy contains drugs and the best treatment in preventing and curing disease, especially for people with high blood pressure, one of the factors that causes high blood pressure is a substance called toxic, with cupping therapy having a suction method and inhaled, the toxic substances in the body will come out so that blood pressure returns to normal. The conclusion of this study is that the hadith regarding cupping therapy is acceptable so that it can be used as a practice for Muslims and also becomes an effective alternative treatment option, especially for people with high blood pressure.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss how the explanation of having sex outside of marriage in the perspective of hadith. This research uses qualitative type method with content analysis through literature study. The results and discussion in this study include a general view of adultery, takhrij sanad in the hadith regarding adultery, and how to explain the prohibition of adultery. The conclusion of this study shows that adultery is a behavior that is prohibited both religiously and legally in Indonesia, and the hadith that explains the prohibition of adultery is a saheeh hadith. This study warns of the dangers and other negative impacts of adultery.]]>

This research method uses qualitative type through literature study using content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include general views of prayer in congregation, traditions about prayer in congregation, and the commandment of prayer and its virtues. The conclusion of this study is to find out how important prayer is in congregation, because prayer is the pillar of religion. Whoever establishes the prayer establishes his religion, and whoever abandons the prayer destroys his religion. This research is expected to be able to open up the views of parents so that in educating children it should not only be in terms of science, but must be accompanied by spiritual knowledge, one of which is prayer.]]>

This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study and content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include a general view of mental health, hadith on mental health, and mental health with a religious psychology approach. The conclusion of this study is that mental health is related to psychotherapy through the practice of worship, in the sense that all kinds of teachings and rituals in religion can help heal mental disorders and religious teachings keep away from negative solutions.
