Jurnal Riset Agama is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research on Religious and socio-cultural studies. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with Religious studies using an interdisciplinary perspective, especially within Islamic Theology and its related teachings resources. The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

<![CDATA[Spiritualism sees happiness as something immaterial. Associated with the strength of faith in humans, especially for Muslims. This condition can be found in the TPQ Jama'atul Huda Pangalengan, even though the teacher's condition is lacking in material, but they still teach sincerely. The purpose of this study was to determine the views of teacher happiness and al-Ghazali's perspective on teacher happiness. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive phenomenological methods and the philosophy of teacher happiness for a case study at TPQ Jama'atul Huda, Sidamukti village, Pangalengan district, Bandung district. Al-Ghazali's view of happiness is when a person gets a soul, body, from outside and offers it. Happiness is not solely about material things, but happiness when we can have noble morals.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the urgency of generosity in the hadith. This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study with content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include general views on generosity, hadith about generosity, and the application of generosity according to hadith. This study concludes that Islam is a perfect religion. Not only regulating habluminallah but also regulating habluminannas, which must be done properly, correctly and in balance. One of the teachings of Islam that Allah has commanded to his people is caring and giving. Confession of the truth of a person's faith can be measured by his giving behavior. Giving is not a bad deed, but on the contrary, it is a commendable act. The generous person is close to Allah, close to heaven, close to humans, and far from hell.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to explore the urgency of history as a science in an effort to re-awaken the Indonesian nation identity to the young generation in Era Society 5.0. The method used in this study is use qualitative research method by collecting data from reading written sources such as journals articles, books and other written sources to be analyzed objectively based on the data obtained from these written sources. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the young generation should know the importance of the struggle of the nation's heroes in achieving Indonesian independence and need historical learning as a provision to face the Era of Society 5.0. Through this research, it can be concluded that the provision of history as a science is an alternative step taken in an effort to raise awareness of history as the national identity of the Indonesian nation to the young generation in the Era of Society 5.0. This study recommends historians, educators or history teachers, the government and Indonesian society as a whole in an effort to raise awareness of the importance of studying history, especially Indonesian history which still needs to be explored further in order to reconstruct history properly.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the uniqueness and perspective of Al-Mubarok's interpretation in interpreting Surah Al-Hujurat regarding hablumminaannas with specific social ethics. This study uses library research (library research). The results and discussion of this study show various kinds of social ethics, namely the importance of verifying a news whose clarity is not certain in paragraph 6, the command to make peace if there is a conflict between two parties is contained in paragraph 11 and there are prohibitions that must be avoided in life. It is not allowed to criticize, insult and be hostile in verse 12. The content of the explanation in Surah Al-Hujurat can be used as a source of guidance and can be applied in everyday life, especially in social life in order to create a harmonious and prosperous society. This study recommends mufassirin and academics to examine more deeply related to Tafsir Al-Mubarok which contains its own uniqueness but is easy to understand, this is a constructive effort, especially the Indonesian Muslim community in order to understand the contents of the Qur'an.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the importance of zuhud attitude in everyday life, especially in the boarding school environment. This study aims to examine the inculcation of zuhud and its implementation in the Al-Musyahadah Islamic boarding school. This study uses a qualitative approach and uses descriptive analysis methods. Zuhud is emptying the heart of the world's desire to always draw closer to Allah. Inculcating zuhud by growing understanding for students to accept all the provisions of Allah that comes to themselves. The implementation of zuhud can be distinguished from its characteristics, namely the nature and behavior of the zuhud person. This study concludes that at the Al-Musyahadah Islamic boarding school there is the inculcation of the attitude of zuhud as evidenced by the studies of books that discuss zuhud in the Al-Musyahadah Islamic boarding school such as Nashoihul Ibad, Sirr al-Asror, Al-Hikam and the implementation of zuhud from students of Al-Musyahadah Islamic boarding school can be seen from their daily lives such as having good morals in socializing and others. However, in practice there are still students who find it difficult to implement zuhud.]]>

<![CDATA[This study intends to analyze the hadith about the prohibition of staying up late as immunity maintenance. This study uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes literature study through the takhrij and syarah hadith methods by applying contemporary analysis in the medical field. The results of the research and discussion show that the hadith regarding the prohibition of staying up late is of authentic quality based on the takhrij review so that it can be accepted as an Islamic argument. As for the syarah of this hadith, it shows that staying up late is a behavior that the Messenger of Allah hated, the attitude of the Apostle can be understood, that he forbade his people to stay up late, while this prohibition is only makruh and not haram. The conclusion in this study is that the hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad no. 18945 is maqbul for efforts to increase immunity by prohibiting staying up late.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hadith regarding the virtues of ablution water as facial beauty through the application of takhrij and syarah hadith studies. This research method uses a qualitative approach through literature study related to contemporary analysis. The results of this study found that the hadith about the virtue of ablution as facial beauty is authentic in terms of sanad and matan. The discussion of this research is that on the Day of Resurrection, the people of the Prophet Muhammad. will be presented with a radiant face because of the remnants of the ablution water. The conclusion of this study is that cleanliness, chastity, and beauty can be maintained by carrying out ablution seriously without having to bother looking for and buying the right beauty products for the face. This research is expected to provide special benefits for women in the contemporary era.]]>

<![CDATA[Excessive land conversion causes negative impacts such as floods, landslides, climate change, and other disasters. This happened in Bojong Kondang, where the slopes of the mountains were used as residential buildings. The purpose of this paper is to describe the main research topics: 1) Community understanding of land conversion in Bojong Kondang; 2) Ecotheological analysis in the perspective of Seyyed Hossein Nasr on land conversion in Bojong Kondang. This research is a field research, with descriptive qualitative method, and the ecotheological theory of Seyyed Hosein Nasr as an analytical tool. The findings in this study are first, there are pros and cons between the community and the government on the housing development. Second, the perpetrators of the housing construction were not native Bojong Kondang residents, but migrants. Third, the indigenous people of Bojong Kondang are very concerned about the environment and uphold ecotheological values based on the principles of Islamic teachings. Fourth, the elders in Bojong Kondang still adhere to mythology.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to discuss contextualization of the understanding of Gratification in Hadith. This research applies a type of qualitative research conducted with library studies and uses tahlili methods and contextualization. The results and discussions of this study include an overview of corruption and gratification, actions that include gratification, punishment in the world and the afterlife of gratification actors contained in the Qur'an, Hadith, and applicable laws. This study concluded that the act of gratification has existed since the time of the Prophet, where there are many differences in terms of social conditions, culture, and a more modern era. Then there needs to be contextualization of hadith in the legal system and the definition of corruption. This study outlines how contextualizing the understanding and punishment of gratification in hadith as the times progress.]]>

<![CDATA[Mahabah which is the peak of sufism becomes a proper study considering that contemporary life today often makes sense more than the real God. The purpose of this study is to explore how the reflection of the mahabah when viewed from the perspective of a contemporary sufi, Buya Nursamad Kamba. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative with a library research approach. The results showed that the point of view taken by Buya Nursamad Kamba in perceiving mahabah is by focusing on the concept of Muhammad’s personality by elaborating and integrating the value of love for Allah in every aspect of life. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of this study is Buya Nursamad Kamba's view of the concept of mahabah is very unique and adapts to the development of the times in this contemporary era.]]>
