The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

The main advice of Islam is for sinners to repent immediately because religious arguments explain that repentance is a door of convenience, as well as acting as a procession for eliminating sins. Meanwhile, the problems faced by humans today are increasingly diverse and increasing. This study aimed to discuss repentance as a basis for problem solving. The method used in this study is a qualitative method based on the literature review with the content analysis. Then to explain the verse in this study, it was carried out using the thematic interpretation method (maudhu’i). The result of this study as a discussion that includes the meaning of repentance and the problem solving, verses about repentance related to the problem solving, and the analysis of repentance as a basis for the problem solving. This study concludes that based on the analysis carried out with thematic interpretation steps, it is known that denial and sin cause calamities and problems both on a small and large-scale. Then repentance exists as a purification step for the soul that is offered to eliminate drop calamities and problems and replace them with luck.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the important role of the takhrij hadith method in the study of the authenticity of the hadith. This research method uses a qualitative approach with an analytical descriptive method, namely a fact-finding method with proper description and analysis of the data studied, including a general understanding of takhrij hadith, various methods of takhrij hadith, as well as the purpose and benefits of takhrij hadith. From this research, it can be concluded that takhrij hadith is the result of the efforts of previous scholars in developing the study of hadith science which is also part of the intellectual and scientific treasures that must be passed on by subsequent generations so that it continues to be maintained and developed. This research is expected to provide benefits and benefits for the treasures of Islamic scholarship.

This study aims to analyze gender in the perspective of QS. An-Nisa verse 34. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature study. The results and discussion of the research show that QS. An-Nisa verse 34 discusses the position of men as the head of the family and shows the portion and role of women and men in the family. This study concludes that QS. An-Nisa verse 34 states the leadership of men in the family. Women and men have their respective roles and portions. More or less QS. An-Nisa verse 34 shows that there are jobs or positions for men that cannot be replaced by women and vice versa. This study recommends other researchers to study gender issues from the perspective of the Qur'an further.

One of the characteristics of children with autism or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) has emotional disorders. This is in accordance with what happened at SD Plus Al-Ghifari. By applying murottal Al-Qur’an therapy which is indirectly able to make children calmer in learning. This study aims to determine the process and effect of murottal Al-Qur’an therapy on emotional disturbances in autistic children. The study methods field research with three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation conducted at SD Plus Al-Ghifari Bandung. According to the helper at SD Plus Al-Ghifari after receiving the murottal Al-Qur’an treatment, the students were able to be calmer and able to follow the instructions from the helper. Al-Qur’an murottal therapy is able to affect emotional disturbances in children with ASD.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the explanation of hadith about politics. This research method is a qualitative type through literature study by applying content analysis. The discussion of this research includes how the general view of political hadith, how the basic concept of leadership in the perspective of hadith, and how the law of women's political leadership. This study concludes that political rights are not only addressed to men, according to some scholars, women have political rights. However, there are some other scholars who forbid women to participate in politics. Whoever the person, whether male or female, if they have entered the political realm, must pay attention to ethics as befits a good politician, who follows what has been taught by the Prophet Muhammad. This research is expected to have benefits for enriching the treasures of Islamic knowledge.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contextuality between the Qur'an and science about the process of human creation. This study uses a qualitative method through a literature study, using a reproductive health theory approach and maudhu'i interpretation. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the process of human creation after Adam was through reproduction, among the phases are nuftah, 'alaqah, mudghah, bone formation, muscle formation, then perfected by blowing the spirit, until it becomes the best form. Meanwhile, in science, according to Sadler, the phases are gametogonesis, the process of ovulation to implantation, then the bilaminar gem disc, the embryonic period, to the time of delivery. According to Dudek, they are preferilization, weekly period, embryonic period, and organogenesis. This study concludes that the process of human creation in the Qur'an is in accordance with the findings of modern scientists today. This study recommends that the verses of science be revealed using a book of commentaries with a scientific style.

This research aims to discuss the social action of installation on mosques in Kediri City. This research is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, namely by describing in detail the social actions of wifi installation. Furthermore, this study will adopt Max Weber's theory of social action as a knife of analysis in determining the form of social action carried out by mosque administrators. The results of this study show that social actions carried out by mosque administrators are a form of rationality of values. The motives of each mosque administrator are different but with the same purpose, namely in order to meet the needs of the community and make the mosque. The study recommends academics and research to further develop the theme of this research but with a different approach, so as to contribute to socio-religious research in a sustainable manner.

Women should get an education like men. This research will explore the concept of women's education of Dewi Sartika and Rahmah El-Yunusiyyah and how the concept of women's education of the two figures relates to liberal feminism. This research is a qualitative research type of library study (library research). This research found that women, according to Dewi Sartika and Rahmah El-Yunusiyyah, must be intelligent, sovereign, and independent. They must be equal and have the same role and responsibility as men in life. The construction of the first two schools specifically for women is one of the proofs that Dewi Sartika and Rahmah El-Yunusiyyah have pioneered gender equality in the world of education for women.

This study aims to discuss the hadith about menstruation. This research method is a qualitative type through literature study with content analysis. The research discussion includes general views about menstruation, hadith about menstruation, and the effect of contraceptives to prevent pregnancy on the menstrual cycle. This study concludes that menstruation is a natural cycle as a stipulation that has been established for women based on the explanation of the Prophet's hadith, thereby dismissing various discriminatory myths against menstruating women. Indeed, the menstrual cycle is messed up with the use of contraceptives to prevent pregnancy, but the medical world explains that blood that comes out of the end of a woman's uterus due to the use of contraception that exceeds its period is still categorized as menstruation.

This study aims to discuss the hadith about reading the Qur'an as a model of meditation in an effort to calm the soul during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is classified as a qualitative research type that uses literature study by applying the takhrij and syarah hadith methods. The analytical method used in this research is contemporary analysis. The results of the study indicate that the hadith about reading the Qur'an as a model of tafakkur is valid in terms of sanad and matan according to takhrij reviews. As for the syarah of the hadith, it shows that tafakkur through reading the holy verses of the Qur'an will apparently add a sense of mahabbah to Allah SWT. This love for Allah SWT will also be developed again by reflecting on the attributes and names of Allah SWT and accompanied by good deeds. This thing will increase the faith of a human being so it will give birth a peace in the soul. The conclusion of this study is that tafakkur by reading the Qur'an can also be a medium for spiritual healing for mental problems caused by the Covid-19 virus, although reading the Qur'an is not the only way to achieve peace of mind. Further research is needed on this matter, this research also recommends the collaboration of hadith experts, tafsor experts and also psychotherapy tasawwuf experts to explore studies on tafakkur by reading the Qur'an as an effort to calm the soul.
